Traffic Island Cop

Just one wave of his hands
The long lines of vehicles stop
Sun burnt rain drenched
Emotionless he stands
The traffic island cop!
You curse him if the wait is long
He’s just a faceless object
Like a post stands erect
In a fast lane his whistle blows
The traffic slows….

He has home, a wife
Away from traffic a life
A face without uniform
A corner to keep him warm
A vastly different island
Where he hates to command
And hopes no whistle brings to stop
The happiness of a traffic island cop!

Torma

My love is like a tiny piece of Island,
And i am endowed with natural potentials!
But my heart beats when i do see you around.
I love you and i want you to be aware of it,
And you need a place to rest your tired body;
For love is the key of life!
Come to me my sweet lover,
For this tiny Island can easily host you and me;
And i am endowed with natural potentials.
Torma is my name and i love you,
For my heart beats whenever i do see you around;
So come to this tiny Island of love and share with me.

Virgin Island

What do you want to do for love oh Virgin Island?
Tell me if you are alone and i will visit you;
For i really have a message for you oh Virgin Island.

Hold on to your virginity till you reach the peak of marriage,
For i am yours and you are mine;
And of your lovely and watery love like the ice-cream,
And down to your rivers with the windfall's light.

You are honourable among the lovers and,
You are the sweet Virgin Island of love;
But do tell me if you are lonely and,
I will be there for you like the mid summer's night.

The Isle of our Delight

Hallowed moon- Blessed moon- Beloved moon.
Winged moon aloft in the crucible of the night.
Traveler’s moon, the dreamer moon- the starlit songster of time.

Sing your songs of years unending- dream your dreams of roads unbending.

Listen, yes, and listen now- the star-filled silences called across the seas.

Light our way hence to Ynis corgis- the island of “No Hopes fading.”

Guide our footsteps true-to the island of “Time’s walking.”

Leading us though this pure night of island of “No Love’s parting.”

Vanishing Islands

Vanishing Islands

Classic sea, almost antique, slow swinging oars
rowing towards a balmy island with lazy palm trees.
Everything could have been so perfect, hadn’t been
for the rising sea and the diminishing shoreline.
There is a smoking mountain in the middle of
the island, soon fishermen will sit on cliffs and be
anglers, sing songs remembering times when their
island had a sandy beach; but for now oscillating oar
blade dips into liquid happiness, disturbing briefly
the azure sky that preens itself on an ocean it regards
as a mere mirror.

In the island of my senses

In the island of my senses
You have come as a lover.
Last night you touch
With your fingers my
Softness and I wriggled
In such sweetness.
I touch you too with the
Sands of my shores
You do not really know
That I am here
In my flowers and
Shells. I whistle and
Sigh in my winds of
My islands. You do
Not know that I am
Here. In the island
Of my senses I lay
With desire concealed.
As I kiss you in your
Sleep, I am not even

Ideal World

The greatest and best island of this world
Creates a sense of peace for the world.
The people desire its importance to shine,
Your own wickedness is then launched
And the island uses its waves to keep you at bay;
This may be the story of the stray cats and dogs
That want to be fetched, that want to be loved.

The inner sins committed by such islands
Are only minor in quantity, the quality of the nation
Is mostly achieved by the best of the islands.
Let confined people be held for their time,
And let the island of greatest and best nature resolve
The differences so apparent in this ideal world.

Shell on the shelf near my bed

Shell on the shelf near my bed
Take me back to memories box
Last summer on Virgin Island beach
Alone fighting words creating poem
She walks near me without sound
Holding shell in her hands
She comes forward to me
Look at me and smile
Long black hair like water fall
Beauty of Virgin Island
She put the shell on my ear
Sound of waves touching my soul
Hold her hand and start walking
Hand on hand, banded shadows
We walk long way
Ah memories
On other side of bed she lays beside me
Body on body, banded souls
Shell on the shelf near my bed
Take me back to memories box

Intimate Interlocking Islands

Waves of love;
irrepressible,
unfulfilled,
unreturned

winds of questions
unsolvable,
unremitting and
unanswered

these erosive human elements have
forged many an island out of
fiber and protein
calcium, iron, and flesh
bone and blood and skin

Islands swelling with surges of compassion, admiration, and sympathy

I may reside on this particular island
but I am not alone

Security

Tomorrow will have an island. Before night
I always find it. Then on to the next island.
These places hidden in the day separate
and come forward if you beckon.
But you have to know they are there before they exist.

Some time there will be a tomorrow without any island.
So far, I haven't let that happen, but after
I'm gone others may become faithless and careless.
Before them will tumble the wide unbroken sea,
and without any hope they will stare at the horizon.

So to you, Friend, I confide my secret:
to be a discoverer you hold close whatever
you find, and after a while you decide
what it is. Then, secure in where you have been,
you turn to the open sea and let go.
