Cruel Grasp
The sea! the sea! I hate the sea,
It roared and rose, ranted and raved,
Swept to its depths my family
Leaving only me to be saved.
Oh! sea, I hate your cruel grasp,
Your greedy hand upon the shore,
Did I once love your friendly clasp?
Did you once whisper sweet sea-lore?

Rhymes For Chanting
BUTTERFLY, butterfly, speed through the air,
The ring-bird follows thee fast,
And the monkey looks up with a greedy stare;
Speed on till the peril be past!
O, wert thou but safe in my garden bower,
And wouldst thou no further stray,
Thou shouldst feed on the rose and the gilliflower,
And be my play-mate gay.

Time To Come Home©
Come home, my child,
Be not afraid.
Come home to the arms
Of I who you made.
Come home, my child,
Into the light,
Out of the darkness
Of that cold night.
You are not leaving
You'll be ever near.
Come home, my child,
Be of no fear.
Reach to the gentle
Hands from above,
Come home, my child,
To My boundless love.

Way Out
Honesty
Is all I wanted
But you couldn't give me that
You wouldn't let me go
But was still holding on
To your other past
Every word I said
Came from depth of my heart
Yours seem to have been
Only cold lies
My intention was not
To complicate your life
But with loving you
I did that to mine
A simple conversation
Could put things right

O' Wind Beautiful Wind
O' wind beautiful wind
I want to see you
Where you come from where you go
You bring his thoughts while you blow
I grow weary for I miss him
Bring the message of my dreams
O' wind beautiful wind
I want to see you
I can feel you but wish to touch you
I can hear you but wanna talk to you
When you pass by me
I feel my love’s touching me
O' wind beautiful wind
I want to see you

Thine Alone
Rains and Sunshine are not mine alone
Rainbows and Flowers are not mine alone
My love for Thee is mine alone
Ask for Peace and Blessing alone
Rest all things are dust alone
Desire for unknown is better left alone
Suffering in my life are not mine alone
Tears in my heart are not mine alone
Lord with me, share these alone
I believe in Faith and Faith alone
Jesus is my saviour is the Truth alone
Lord always with me and I am His alone...

The Swan
This laboring of ours with all that remains undone,
as if still bound to it,
is like the lumbering gait of the swan.
And then our dying—releasing ourselves
from the very ground on which we stood—
is like the way he hesitantly lowers himself
into the water. It gently receives him,
and, gladly yielding, flows back beneath him,
as wave follows wave,
while he, now wholly serene and sure,
with regal composure,
allows himself to glide.

Newsflash
Guess what's on the news today
another young life wasted away
boy,16, shot in the chest
should everyone walk around in a bullet-proof vest?
Guess what's on the news today
another young life wasted away
girl,14, stabbed in the heart
teen death rates soaring off the charts
Guess what's on the news today
more lives have been wasted away
2 boys in their teens
unfulfilled, broken dreams
Guess whats on the news today
more and more people just turn away
hiding their faces from any spot of light
we all live in darkness, we all live with fright

An affair with STAR
This one STAR fondly stares at me
Each night as darkness befalls on me
Gives me company for many hours
Though, cannot reach me for distance so far
This one STAR is a joy to gaze
Brightly shining all by itself
Tells me a story of a guy as him
Stood tall among all his fellow beings
This one STAR I wonder if it’s sad
Yearning for love in eternal sphere
The man I love is just like him
Vibrant and lively but all so lonely
Hey you, STAR, I do adore you
If I could, I would come with you
But for all I can, I will always do
Share precious moments in life with you…
