Quotes about knock, page 11
Qualify Yourself
A door doesn't have to appear,
For one to knock and realize an opportunity...
Could be near.
It could be closer than that by making your own door.
Create your own opportunities.
You then can decide to knock, block, lock it...
And keep it close if you wish!
However...
Once one has done this,
And awaken to their own power...
The only one that can stop a mind,
Defining 'who' one is and 'what' they are...
Is the one whose eyes have been opened.
So wide open with a wisdom they do become.
And rare is the one that blinks,
When that happens.
There is too much to be done.

Restless MONTHesis
In spite of the body's right,
I always slept almost midnight;
Trying to finish with all my might,
But great completion was not on sight.
I woke up late every morning,
And hoped the clock would stop turning;
Ball of fire was already shining,
And subject classes were strictly waiting.
Knock! Knock! Knock, I knocked!
The room's door was definitely locked;
Being late forced my head to be cocked,
A post "No Class" then led my body be rocked.
I suddenly thought of my thesis,
"To graduate, is it really the basis? "
The world would many times rotate on its axis,
But still, my mind suffered from a "catharsis".

Can't Escape The Getting Any
I think about you daily, baby.
And appreciate those days,
I can't escape the way I'm feeling...
More of you.
Yes I do.
More of you.
I think about you daily, baby.
And appreciate those days,
I can't escape the way I'm feeling...
More of you.
It's true.
Yes I do.
More of you...
I need.
And feed.

Emmaline Conner room 101(contest winner writing.com)
Lids slowly closing, aged eyes rimmed with red
Blue veined hands clutching sheets to her chin
Fond memories, old boyfriends, gaily dance in her head
A Time traveler, scanning archives, sequestered within
My knock brings her back to this time, here and now
With a start she awakens, closes softly memory’s door
With a smile I approach, place a hand on her brow
Gently bringing her back to the present once more
Tucking a bib beneath her chin like an infant
Huge Breakfast tray pulled close to her breast
Eyes mockingly wide in jesting amazement
Solemnly promises to give it her best
I sit by her side, uncapping and helping
With the soft pureed breakfast I provided
A few birdlike bites, her resolve quickly melting
She’s really quite full now, she’s decided

Coming Home For Christmas
Mrs Merryweather put coal on the fire,
while outside through the frosted windows
the snow was beginning to fall.
Christmas was only days away,
though the air raid sirens wailed daily,
they could not spoil the promise of Christmas.
Life just had to go on.
The coupons she had saved
would help them really celebrate.
It was going to be a Christmas
they were all going to remember.
She looked at the mantelpiece;
pride masked itself across her face
as she gazes at the photograph of her son.
Dressed in his uniform the photo stood pride of place.
He would be coming home for Christmas.
He had written to say he had leave this year.
It would be the first time the whole family

Were only here to knotk em down
Were toming to your house to state our appeal

Im Goin Down
We sit in the car outside your house
I can feel the heat coming round
I go to put my arm around you
And you give me a look like Im way out of bounds
Well you let out one of your bored sighs
Well lately when I look into your eyes
Im goin down
We get dressed up and we go out, baby, for the night
We come home early burning, burning in some fire fight
Im sick and tired of you setting me up
Setting me up just to knock-a knock-a knock-a me down
I pull you close but when we kiss I can feel a doubt
I remember back when we started
My kisses used to turn you inside out
I used to drive you to work in the morning
Friday night Id drive you all around
You used to love to drive me wild
But lately girl you get your kicks from just driving me down
