Party-Lad
You are perceptive, so sensitive to light,
That it endangers your being and makes calamity.
Exciting and smelling of jeopardy,
The night will be seen as dancing of two nights.
The blackout lasted so bright with aromas and festivity,
Aware were the hungry hundred diners,
In the night so perceptive, and sensuous with food.
I have eaten on nights that climb light,
Yet eyes suddenly vanish from the scene.
Be on the days, be on the nights,
Like an endangered man of gate-crashing.

A Smile Reborn
A smile had long been missing from my face!
As for that matter from many a face around me! !
But I smiled yesterday believe it..
And it lasted for a few seconds indeed!
A nomad in mirth and his kiddy sibling
Passed by me singing a lyric of their own fibre...
I murmer the lyric unto the skies and my poet brethern
Who have not smiled for long....
' When you smile you are a man
Or else you are a ghost indeed'.
What made them sing so I know not...
But I had ceased to be the ghost in me for a while....!

Goodbye My Love
Goodbye my love
I have come to let you go
To say a sad farewell
My heart has surrendered
All the hope in you it held
Time became to much
And opportunity failed to show
A thought began and it grew
Telling my heart constantly
That which it already knew
The denial lasted so long
How my heart fought for you
Bravely and valiant
Fought in each dream to believe
Till the colour faded away
The words ebbed into a silence
So I find myself here standing
Ready to say goodbye
Take care my love
Ill let you go

November
November;
One of those months
caught in the middle
between two seasons
Split down
into two's
Like daylight
and darkness
'Always feels like home
in twilight,
and just before the dawn
before the birds song'
A time that never lasted
too long
November is warm

Resting-Place
Dreams have come to bestow depictions
Of a husband and wife with happiest memories.
Memorize the verses suited to the task,
Never deviate from the truth, and everything
Is in common, the name of God reigns indeed.
The Fashioner made the soul to reflect a deed
That lasted the whole of existence.
Its force resounded in the galaxies,
You painted the heavens for it.
The latest painting was exhibited
When the dreams subsided and they were exhibited.
Let the imagination of eternity be a king’s
Resting-place.

Bereft, She Thinks She Dreams
I dream that the dearest I ever knew
Has died and been entombed.
I am sure it's a dream that cannot be true,
But I am so overgloomed
By its persistence, that I would gladly
Have quick death take me,
Rather than longer think thus sadly;
So wake me, wake me!
It has lasted days, but minute and hour
I expect to get aroused
And find him as usual in the bower
Where we so happily housed.
Yet stays this nightmare too appalling,
And like a web shakes me,
And piteously I keep on calling,
And no one wakes me!

Oh For A Day Of Spring
Oh for a day of Spring,
A day of flowers and folly,
Of birds that pipe and sing
And boyhood's melancholy!
I would not grudge the laughter,
The tears that followed after.
Oh for a day of youth,
A day of strength and passion,
Of words that told the truth
And deeds the truth would fashion!
I would not leave untasted
One glory while it lasted.
Oh for a day of days,
A day with you and pleasure,
Of love in all its ways
And life in all its measure!
Win me that day from sorrow,
And let me die to--morrow.

The Stage is Set
This whirlwind romance
has lasted through
the years and all the sex
we’ve had,
Between the imagery
of our thoughts
Converged
by the seductive poetry, And,
by-the-way, you’re always great
Even for a minute
when we escaped
Among the verses and stanzas
And the proverbial path twists
Searching every square inch
Ever blind in the mist
Slowly rounding curves
Softly, whispering lips
Reciting visions of you
unforgettably

Time Never Alters
We look at time begrudgingly
saying there is never enough of it
to do all the things we want to do.
When we were young, it seemed
as if time lasted forever,
but as we grew older,
there never seemed enough of it
to last us through.
Time never alters;
it is only the pace
in which we live our lives that does.
As youngsters’ time to us meant nothing,
but as we get older, we are ruled by a clock.
One day we might realise
a clock should not rule our lives,
then we will see
we have more than enough time.

Boxer From Far East (philippines)
big time guys from island came to town
singing “london bridge is falling down”
it was so quick it only lasted two rounds
add one more to his collection of crowns
i look around the ring pinoys neighborhood
with smile, “i thought we are poor, i was told”
i was wrong, yes, it’s just me, i can’t afford
but whatever it is, outcome is ”i feel so good”
even though” i’m not a big fan of boxing”
somewhere within me is really rejoicing
being part of that unique culture from east
where for sometime created “one of the best”
