Quotes about twins, page 11

Foster children

Foster parents they lived happily
until the twins became an adolescents.
The boys who came to know their pedigree
from the mealy mouths.
They changed their attitudes
and grumbled with these innocent parents.
No respect for them at all.
Foster parents are in a dilemma
and they promised to each other
not to tell the truth.
How can they tell them
that their father is the pauper who begs at the cathedral gate
and the mother who's a wrongdoer at the old barracks.
Who knows how long they can hide this pathetic story
to this prodigal sons Cane and Abel?

Shem

A meeting in Banjul,
And of the colourful girls i saw around;
But they all fell by the edge of the sword in one night.

You are sold into the hands of a woman and,
I am between Ramah and Beth-El;
But the name of the great military leader around saw Shem.

Two nations are in your womb and,
There are twins expected out soon;
But you are the daughter of another man.

Did you not hate me and drive me away? !
And i am now at the fords of the Jordan to clear my view;
For hatred had been part of the meeting and,
It had led many to fall by the edge of the sword.

Confronting To Remove Their Own Obstacles

Carrying someone else's baggage,
Is not my assignment.
And 'if' you have found it has become yours.
Request another mission.

As I understand it
Each of us have our own roads to explore.
Doing it with someone else,
Is most unique.

Even identical twins will tell you,
They have differences between them.
And seldom will you find them burdening themselves,
Giving the other a free ride through life.

They appear to want others to know,
They can and will,
Carry their own weight.
And some folks seem unable to appreciate,
Confronting to remove their own obstacles.

Being two is not a hindrance

You and I are two, made by love as twins,
But not as one that every lover claims.
If we are two, as someone ridicule,
Let we be so as one’s legs too are two.
Legs are two, a pair, and not separate,
But joined at base for a common purpose.
We aren’t two but a pair for a cause,
Joined by a knot like the wedding rings.
By two, legs are stable for the body.
Lovers be two to balance their affairs.
Let us remain two; let the souls walk out.
And join to keep us a pair of love.
As long as two souls are one by a knot,
Being two is not a hindrance for love.

The Naked Truth

Have you ever wondered?
Why the Sun sets, from the east?
It’s the sign, where I leave my heart,
For the Sun to relay it to you,
In the west
Ad nauseam, the night is where
I leave my eyes to capture you
Like a Lapis Lazuli
You shine the brightest
Amongst the stars

On Earth
I’d be the Botanist
You’re the Campanula
And Knapweed
Fecundating, I grow you
To be closer
To me
You seem very buxom

Battles, Scars and Victory

They were missing
when our mission was fragile on the soil
land and clouds as far as the eyes could see
they were hissing
when our vision brougth pains like boils
we strayed like a floating wreckage on the sea

we were wishing
that our wounds would turn to scars
we saw promises and lies like identical twins
we were fishing
like a despised slave wishing for the stars
hiding our usual painful wince

we are winning
our roots go deep in the time of drought
a plant that shames the salt land
we are living
like a platform in the crowd
our help comes from strong hands

Sacred Twins

Grace and mercy arrived today
I viewed them differently today than the usual way
I saw them dancing together in a splendid harmonious way
Both bowing with cursey as the holy spirit guided the way.
I also heard a voice I know as the lord sayng
We are available each day
Always in a new and exciting way
I shall never leave you nor forsake you as my word says
The two twins simply bowed their heads
In approval of all of which the lord had said
There is so much more
He gently and sweetly said,
As he added
Love me,
Love me, with your whole heart
As I love you
Also, love one another

Pablo Neruda

Luminous mind, bright devil

Luminous mind, bright devil
of absolute clusterings, of upright noon---:
here we are at last, alone, without loneliness,
far from the savage city's delirium.

Just as a pure line describes the dove's curve,
as the fire honors and nourishes peace,
so you and I made this heavenly outcome.
The mind and love live naked in this house.

Furious dreams, rivers of bitter certainty,
decisions harder than the dreams of a hammer
flowed into the lovers' double cup,

until those twins were lifted into balance
on the scale: the mind and love, like two wings.
---So this transparency was built.

Cusp Choice - 0548 - Initial Version

Coincidence is seen when into place
life slips its puzzle pieces for a time.
Flair/feeling twins awareness of some clime,
where, karmic scene set, two met face to face.
Dreams interpret signals, interface
existence past and present, future, climb
limits conscious, set together rhyme,
light and laughter, bright hereafter trace,
instinctive correspondence interlace?
Unique potential, future options prime,
deny the base which smothers in its slime,
Cause, effect, await cusp choice's grace.
'Chance' intercepts flow pattern waves to bring
order into chaos, tune its swing.

Tale of Two Breasts-Anna's Story

Whatever you call them
breasts or twins
they precede us
and divert looks
or maybe attract none.

All life suckles there
heads lay there
babies drink.

I remember at 13,
their nuturance
and that single wish
they'd grow.

Push-ups I admit,
I tried to hurry along the process,
but such mixed feelings there.

Mine grew
