Up in mid air my glare hangs,
in my pulsation and time thumb,
gravel of this end that drums,
amidst ticks, foolish and dumb.
Seconds surround my solitude,
they tick and dance, fastened;
in half lit space, as to delude,

On Making A Friendship
The shadow that we hide behind
When arranging our first date,
Is not a place, to which we should go,
Or stay behind too late.
We rest awhile in that place,
I know that it is wrong,
For honesty between good friends
Would make our friendship strong.
But, as two strangers we are at first,
And to all must not disclose,
All of our hidden depths
And secrets to our foes.
When friendship eventually comes to us,
And it will hopefully be quite soon,

A Day And Date
Nests to birds and holes to foxes,
Of the olive oil and honey on my table;
But in the obscurity of darkness,
The harvest time is very great.
Unmarked graves,
The choicest wine at the beginning of love;
There is a day and a date for everyone.
Of the rich man's table and the poor man's table,
Like homes without numbers to compare with these graves;

Shadowed By The Thieves
The misdeeds done to do because one can do them,
To others discreetly...
Is a choice made one takes.
Like one who schedules an event to occur,
In one's future before it has happened.
Only to arrive at the date to find that date erased,
By someone thought to have been chased away....
By deceiving strategies layered and laid carefully.
But as facts being as they are when faced,
Devious tricks eventually lose their slickness.
And one with true abilities is discovered to be,
Profoundly cemented in consistent stability.
Overlooked but when revealed as a producer of quality,
A different level has been achieved.
Since those researching have discovered the identities,

Why this date each year
The dawn of this date
The eighteenth March
Drowns me in sadness
As on this day in the year nineteen sixty
My mother, in her early thirties
Left us for heavenly abode

Why Is It!
That…………
When you find a dress that’s a delight, it’s far too tight!
When you find just the right merchandise, it’s not in your size!
When you find a perfect fitting shoe, it’s in brown not blue!
When you find a shop that caters for your age, nothing in it is ‘the rage’!
When you search for nice elegant clothes, where you get them from, heaven knows!
You’re trying to look real smart, and not a tart, but the only designs are for the lower teens, .
At least there are jeans!
Oh, please don’t make us look so out of date, it’s not too late, to be an older beauty, a real cutie!
We’re certainly not past our ‘sale by’ date, never underrate us, MATE! ! !

THEY CAN'T WIN Apr 30th,2011
Those who don’t vote, think that nothing can change and they may be right,
Without plebiscites or propositions trying to be polite,
No binding referendums or proportional representation,
So why bother to be involved or vote or make a donation?
They are not allowed to vote for their prime minister by name,
Can’t have political recall and no matter what, so they can’t blame,
There are no set-date elections so no one knows the date for sure,
And the name on the ballot they can vote for, is extremely obscure.
Can’t vote for an appointed senator or Supreme Court judge,
Can’t even have these thoughts because nothing is allowed to budge,
Can’t have death with dignity because that would be a sin,
So why bother to vote because Canadians may not win?
