Quotes about magnet, page 12

Remains Same

It was endless epic
Spreading like epidemic
I found so much magic
Lengthy touch without any basic

There is nothing more to ask
It is not your task
Love is just a flame
No need to expect any blame

It is no more lust
Natural law says “it is must”
Some does it in hiding
Some does it after confiding

Give a honest touch and universe is yours
It is magic and beauty is in grip for sure
What is there to fear about wilderness?
When everything is reflected on the face

Rhyme of Sachin Tendulkar

Thou' Cricket is not religion;
Sachin is our god,
Thou' British are Founder,
Sachin is invader.
We owned India,
British conquered it;
British owned Criket,
Sachin conqered it.
Talent sticks to that precious diomond,
Just like magnet sticks to iron.
Talent and efforts in practice matches,
Made king of international cricket.
Neither difficulties nor attraction,
Each fails in bending Tendulkar,
Whether it is fast-track of South Africa
Or Green top of Newzealand,
Sachin mesmerized all Indians by his performence on these land.
Never lost his courage
Whatever difficulties came in Carrier,
Face all difficulties by himself encouraging,

On The Consequences Of Happy Marriages

Hail happy pair from whom such raptures rise,
On whom I gaze with pleasure and surprize;
From thy bright rays the gloom of strife is driven,
For all the smiles of mutual love are Heaven.

Thrice happy pair! no earthly joys excel
Thy peaceful state; there constant pleasures dwell,
Which cheer the mind and elevate the soul,
Whilst discord sinks beneath their soft control.

The blaze of zeal extends from breast to breast,
While Heaven supplies each innocent request;
And lo! what fond regard their smiles reveal,
Attractive as the magnet to the steel.

Their peaceful life is all content and ease,
They with delight each other strive to please;
Each other's charms, they only can admire,
Whose bosoms burn with pure connubial fire.

Love after marriage

Believe me it was love after marriage
Fresh love in life at convincingly later age
I would have been condemnable at this stage
Yet it came with full force with no means in sight to manage

I had caught no pen in whole life
The time pass was golden with wife
Two small kids with no botheration at all
Happy family, very compact and to be called small

It might be called unethical to fall in love
To be seen in other’s company despite reasons sighted above
May not be driven by sex point of view or any other angle
But certainly resulted in unique case of triangle

She was like magnet and pulled me
I could see in her powerful eyes and felt free
It was not normal attraction to have resulted
As it was never discussed or consulted

How I Will Miss Her Much

How I Will Miss Her Much

Written by: Wilfred Mellers, Sunday, October 25,2009

The girl that I adore
She loves me no more
She said she could love no other
Now she’s run off with another

God please tell me why
Who will dry the tears I cry
The odds we could not defy
Feel like I could lie down and die

Now here comes the rain
I can’t stand all the pain
Feels like I am going insane
For my life seems down the drain

My Sister, My Friend

You came along in 75
“A sister for you” Dad said on the drive
Little did I know just what that would mean
But to find out I was keen.

When you arrived home all wrapped in pink
A beautiful baby I did think
You were a couple days old and I was two
I was your big sister and I loved you.

There was the time when you were two
Words were few but you did what you had to do
I was only four and in strife
But from the fire you saved my life

You started school in year one
You and I had such great fun
I was older in year three
But the age gap didn’t matter to me.

To The Eye

THRONE of expression! whence the spirit's ray
Pours forth so oft the light of mental day,
Where fancy's fire, affection's melting beam,
Thought, genius, passion, reign in turn supreme,
And many a feeling, words can ne'er impart,
Finds its own language to pervade the heart;
Thy power, bright orb, what bosom hath not felt,
To thrill, to rouse, to fascinate, to melt!
And by some spell of undefined control,
With magnet-influence touch the secret soul!

Light of the features! in the morn of youth
Thy glance is nature, and thy language truth;
And ere the world, with all-corrupting sway,
Hath taught e'en thee to flatter and betray,
The ingenuous heart forbids thee to reveal,
Or speak one thought that interest would conceal;
While yet thou seem'st the cloudless mirror, given
But to reflect the purity of heaven;
O! then how lovely, there unveil'd, to trace

People in my life

Walking down the path of life,
A path often hard, uphill and difficult
I meet people who walk by my side
Some of them choose to touch me
Some of them I touch
Some of them hold my hand and walk with me
All of them scar me somehow

I've met mean people
Violent, angry people
People dark in the soul
People that look good on the outside
People funny and gracious on the surface
But void and empty on the inside
People who try to cover their defects but can't
Emotionally naive, eternally lonely, unhappy and troubled people.

I've met people who step on me to get taller
People who break me to feel better
People who want me for one night only

Epiphany

January 6 is coming up –
end of the ‘twelve days of Christmas’:
scrape up the Christmas cards –careful
to note addresses where they’ve changed, and
the people who sent to you this year, when
you didn’t send to them..
out with the tree before
it sheds any more needles,
box the decorations into the loft;

yet not an end, but a beginning,
as Eliot might have put it; a cold coming they’re having of it;
they’re still some days away,
the way harsh; the land, strange;
the camels finding harder tread than sand..

for devotees and followers in their footsteps
we’re curiously incurious about that myth
we love to love – is it because
we fear to look too close?
