Quotes about ruler, page 12

Life Word(edited into my own treasure)

Life is a challenge, accept it
Life is a wish, want it
Life is a book, read it and observe
Life is a fight, battle it
Life is a tear, face it
Life is a smile, enjoy it and embrace
Life is a game, play it
Life is a journey, complete it
Life is a ruler, measure it
Life is a sunrise.begin it
Life is a sunset, hold it
Life is a treasure, save all you can

Many Voices

romantics sing of justice
cynic cry it's only a tool
for rulers and designers

the tree of justice has many branches
grows and bloooms if watered by tolerance
in days of social drought is stunted
withers falling into decay

the lady in marble dressed in a toga
holding the scales of justice
is a harlot in disquise
prostrating herself
before each new ruler

Minstrel's Book - Talismans

GOD is of the east possess'd,
God is ruler of the west;
North and south alike, each land
Rests within His gentle hand.
-----
HE, the only righteous one,
Wills that right to each be done.
'Mongst His hundred titles, then,
Highest praised be this!--Amen.
-----
ERROR seeketh to deceive me,
Thou art able to retrieve me;
Both in action and in song
Keep my course from going wrong.

Your Water

You entice young men and bring them to destruction!
And like the rumble of rattling wheels;
But your water is now ebbing away,
And like a lion among the beasts of the forest.
Catch them in the net and gather them in the drag,
And like swimming things that have no ruler over them!
But look among the heathen and watch,
And like the east wind that destroyed the fruits of your love.

The Pariah - The Pariah's Thanks

MIGHTY Brama, now I'll bless thee!

'Tis from thee that worlds proceed!
As my ruler I confess thee,

For of all thou takest heed.

All thy thousand ears thou keepest

Open to each child of earth;
We, 'mongst mortals sunk the deepest,

Have from thee received new birth.

Bear in mind the woman's story,

Who, through grief, divine became;
Now I'll wait to view His glory,

Who omnipotence can claim.

Nothing is bad

What he fought for as a Jurist,
He will have reversed as a Jury.
What he craved as a Have-not,
He will have denied as a Have.
What he indulged in as a Man,
He will have resented as a Woman.
What he imposed as a Ruler,
He will have retaliated as a Subject.
Each one is right for one’s action
From a certain position.
‘There is nothing good or bad
But thinking makes it so.’

Running commentary

Running commentary -
People's representatives
Socalled ruler
Greedy cruel billioner
And poverty proof of guilty
Wealth is man's worth
Might decided good and bad
Thiefs lead state
Business being fraud
Master of abusive vocabulary
Called scholar
Judiciary corrupt
Cash for votes rules and roots
Shameless allround
You are a common man
You feel shy to do things wrong
You have no place today
You may goaway.

He Believes He Is Being Praised

A fool will never understand,
Why his actions are understood.
He sees this as approval...
And continues to remain a fool.
Even moved to the exit...
He believes he is being praised.
In isolation,
He awaits to be knighted ruler
And king!
No one has the heart to tell him,
Bulldozers are at the base
Of the hill upon which he sits!
His eyes drift.
Befitting one of dignity who leads,
And commands action!

Love (Sonnet)

Times have been fair,
as I stay among these clouds,
without a simple care,
avoiding all the crowds.

As all I need is you to be mine,
showing me all this love
as among the doves we twine,
far beyond the clouds above.

Your love to me is sweet,
superior to the taste of candy,
as you make me feel complete
with insides all nice and dandy.

As into this love cloud I was hurled,
and thanks to you feel the ruler of the world.
