Abolish Ego

There's no man in this world
Who without any trouble is mould.

For one reason or the other
You are in trouble sooner or later.

The main reason for your fall
Into the sea of troubles—all

Is because of your inflated ego-
If totally abolished—this ego

You will be made free from all troubles, you see
And would in happiness for ever be.

in bloom
Reminds one

The Whole

The waves are ne'er discordant
with the mighty ocean.
Even a small wave sent
is a part of the ocean
and when a giant wave looms large
even then ‘tis a part of the ocean.

Through our lives misgivings barge
into the affairs of mundane tension.
But even as the waves roll
when the final bells toll
our exiguous life's soul
mingles with the whole!

and went to Hawaii for honeymoon

with a Havana cigar aburning

And a spark from the cigar flew

transported by some uncanny crew

Ajmer

Ajmer in the arms of Aravalli

is alight with the light from Bhagavaan

Moinuddin Chisti

and has the halo of heaven upon earth

The endless pilgrim flow

along the road of Darga

mingle with the noisy silence of the Dargah

and one can hear the holy men of the past

singing hymns to the only God

when one lends ones ears to the confluence

Deep down the sea

Deep down the sea there is despair

animated in blue anemones

and oozing nectar of the woodbines

weltering

in the blue deep

The fairies there waltz with the souls

that drink deep in the pool of despondency

It is a cassino run by the white beard Neptune

Mosquitoes

If mosquitoes were not there
To draw blood from your capillaries
You would have to visit your doctor
Every week to get rejuvenated
For Gods sake donot destroy the vale of tears
Where mosquitoes breed
Mosquitoes do not take fees
But the doctors do
If doctors replace mosquitoes
The global market will no doubt expand
For the benefit of man and the USA

To meet a stranger is an adventure
It might generate untold energy
If antimatter shakes hands with matter
An instance of synergy
Do you know what can happen
The share markets will collapse
Everywhere from Calcutta to Japan
If markets wane and disappear
Like dinosaurs of yester years
Philosophers shall understand
What it is to meet a stranger
