Quotes about nectar, page 15
Do it with grace
It is the Butterfly that visits flowers
And not vice versa.
Is it why you made me frequent to you
Yourself remaining passive?
I am happy that you had admitted me.
I am on your petal.
No flower rejects the landed Butterfly
From sucking her nectar.

Glance Down
and see how new grass
lifts green glory
to absolute blue.
Look how swarming gnats
dash in passion,
vortex of life,
swirling whirlpool
in liquid light.
The jay waits
on shadowed fence,
as jeweled hummingbirds
float
in a sea of roses,
nectar drunk,
May-mad.

The Need!
The plants need water,
The bees need nectar,
The earth needs a heater,
The stage needs the performers,
The hearts need the care,
The wind needs the odor,
The body needs sugar,
The mind needs an entertainer,
A house needs a father,
A home needs a mother.

The Drum Suite
The hummingbird
brings nectar
to the wilting
flower

dew to the lotus flower
moving on Hunted day and night
sings a dirge
moving on Intermittent drums
are warning signs
moving on Pathways marked
by the stranger
moving on

Mrs Robinson II
Finely tuned
He topped his heights
With extra draughts of nectar.
He could see humour and sorrow in all.
Amusement in a mountain
Brought a tear
For friend not here
And never here again.
Sorrow-skewed,
Her life her plight,
No more topping
To her delight...
...or his.

To Please Her Best
To please her best,
and pass each test success is each encounter.
When counting fingers, if each toe climbing trees just out of reach the rain makes peaches sweeter.
But by those few whom never came, success
was but a dream she left, the nectar dries and lutes tell days.

Orchard
Sweet as the sap from the
nectar tree
Is the love
Which you give
Exclusuveky unto me
Ripe as a cluster of raisins
Which grew in the sun
Is our love
This day as
From the day we begun
Luscious as a honey dew melon
You are and
shall forever be
A seal
A signature
on my heart
For all
to see

Mrs Robinson
Finely tuned
He topped his heights
With extra draughts of nectar.
He could see humour and sorrow in all.
Amusement in a mountain
Brought a tear
For friend not here
And never here again.
The thought she's in a better place
Only doubled mourning.
The better place is here.
Why can't she still be here?

Mrs Robinson III-Eternality
Finely tuned
He topped his heights

And never here again.
'Her song is soft as mine.
Now she's only song,
Sorry as I am she's gone,
Our songs are out of Time.'

The Essence Of You
In the
gallery
of my
mind,
I ponder
your
existence.
Such a
gentle
breeze,
on a warm
spring
day.
A fresh
breath
of air,
softly
kissing
