Don't Hurt
Don’t hurt the poor’ sentiments
They have nothing to offer as comments
They have pitiful eyes but not for offering curses
It may be certainly a pointer with tears
Don’t we feel shame when tons of grains are lost?
Only because we can’t store with safety even though needed most
Whom are we fooling to add the plight?
Is it humanity versus humanity fight?
I find no answer as we are not less than vultures
Take out the flash as and when found for sure
No sparing of any soul for greedy needs
Who are we going pay any heed?
We claim near to God yet involve in dirty game
We bow head before God but feel no shame
We yet to ask more blessings in our venture
This is how we see our glorious future

To Mr. Dryden
How long, great Poet, shall thy sacred lays
Provoke our wonder, and transcend our praise?
Can eneither injuries of time, or age,
Damp thy poetic heat, and quench thy rage?
No so thy Ovid in his exile wrote,
Grief chill'd his breast, and check'd his rising thought:
Pensive and sad, his drooping Muse betrays
The Roman genius in its last decays.
Prevailing warmth has still thy mind possest,
And second youth is kindled in thy breast;
Thou mak'st the beauties of the Romans known,
And England boasts of riches not her own;
Thy lines have heighten'd Virgil's majesty,
And Horace wonders at himself in thee.
Thou teachest Persius to inform our isle
In smoother numbers, and a clearer style;
And Juvenal, instructed in thy page,
Edges his satire, and improves his rage,
Thy copy casts a fairer light on all,
And still out-shines, the bright original.

Enough of turmoil
The country has witnessed enough of turmoil
The public anger is on rise and mood boils
No one feels secure in present day leadership
The sea is not rough but threatening the ships
How to cope up with immoral forces?
They are roaming with honor without any remorse?
This is the scene of today’s politics
No morality, no principles and ethics
Who will bell the cat and save?
What country has not done for them and gave?
Poor are still poor and face with cruel misery
Who can think of little respite which is essential and necessary?
Don't be disheartened with recent happenings
It is good omen and nice beginning
The big heads are exposed for wrong doings
They will be shamed their human being

Successful Man
I wish to die as fulfilled man
Grab and collect as much as I can
Reach on top of the ladder and excel
With all the different tales to tell
Widely spread over big empire
People all over with nice words to admire
Giving top ranks among all business tycoons
Where even sun does favor in noon
I can spare little for deprived lot
As I have struggled and fought
Through out the life for peaceful living
Else there was all hell for believing
Have people not cut jokes with satire?
Did not wait for me to expire?
Was I not spent and useless force?
Did they like when finally I rose?

For my country
What can I do or pray for my country?
Millions are starving and remain hungry
Precious time and money is spent on storage
The food grain is thrown away as garbage
We watch the show as very much disgusting
It is rotting in open ground and rusting
Not a single soul is raising voice
Where the words have gone with promises?
Plenty of grain is available
We can preserve stock and are capable
We do nothing to prevent the loss
We simply pray for only curse
Forget about economy and figures
What is in store for future?
How long you want people should die?
Do we have no remorse to feel shy?

Wish For Good Friend
What do you wish for a good friend or close associate?
He or she should be with us and rush immediate
This is more or less necessary at the time of need
When relation is free from any angle or greed
Near vicinity friends are almost welcome
Far away places stall the friends to come
Yet friendship remains in tact and dear
Even if they stay far but are felt very near
One such friend I have from hilly area
I care for her and made several plea
To come often on line and converse
But every time she comes with god spirit and leaves with tears
This drives me to the nuts
It is shrouded with ifs and buts
It is human bond that brings us together
Else it is not necessary to meet or gather

I shall fetch
I shall fetch you silver stars
Bright moon with spots and scars
Whole galaxy and Milky Way
Invite through eyes and say
Neither have I words to offer
Nor any strong reason to differ
Silently I would love to suffer
Even…………
Why is it so with deep impact?
Readiness to accept but not to react
Willing to go for outright acceptance
No reason to sight it as mere instance
May be as true lover, I must adhere to
Not to prove ideal one or compare to
But certainly to prove as equal match
As she will considered as prized catch

Those Feelings Who Let You In
Those feelings who let you in are going now,
Lighting out in that terrible fog:
The last one I can feel is the one letting me know,
Holding the door open as we wave the others goodbye:
What a foolish thing, ambition,
To want to know the avenues to your
Neck, displayed like a creature
Of the sea naked on the foaming shore
Without its dress of shells:
I liked these words I curled for you,
Because I wanted them to be my tongue
Slipping between your lips when you were not looking:
When you were talking with the other man:
I wanted to surprise you,
And let that me by occupation:
To inhabit your heart as if it were my preservation:
I, a naturalism, and your chest the habitat of my study,
But I was never so good at satire
To make you look a second time at me:
The embolden language of my parents’ rejection,

Substance Versus Shadow
So, gentle critics, you would have me tilt,
Not at the guilty, only just at Guilt!
Spare the offender and condemn Offense,
And make life miserable to Pretense!
'Whip Vice and Folly-that is satire's use
But be not personal, for _that's_ abuse;
Nor e'er forget what, 'like a razor keen,
Wounds with a touch that's neither felt nor seen.''
Well, friends, I venture, destitute of awe,
To think that razor but an old, old saw,
A trifle rusty; and a wound, I'm sure,
That's felt not, seen not, one can well endure.
Go to! go to!-you're as unfitted quite
To give advice to writers as to write.
I find in Folly and in Vice a lack
Of head to hit, and for the lash no back;
Whilst Pixley has a pow that's easy struck,
And though good Deacon Fitch (a Fitch for luck!)
Has none, yet, lest he go entirely free,
God gave to him a corn, a heel to me.

Hollow World
I heard a speech in religious congregation
It was widely read out in relation
With worldly happenings and people around
The speech was tremendous and seemed very sound
As all religious leaders try to prove something good
To preach and get satisfaction out of it and consider as food
What do they have with them except to part with good words?
Spread the message with love of almighty or lords
They have found refuge under roof of holy homes
Where no one is shunted out but always welcomed
Nice treatment with all help for possible mental peace
Nice words, healing touch and free from any satire or tease
But we live in live world surrounded by sheer lies
All sorts of rumors, propaganda and false promises
Dependence on such persons whose words are hollow
We know about it but still compelled to follow
