What Ever Happened

What ever happened to smiles that people used to share
And in their faces you saw they cared.
People were more friendly then
And for a neighbor, they would bend.

People used to feel other peoples pains
Now they say “ oh what a shame”.
People used to walk with dignity and pride
Now they just run and hide.

What ever happened to block parties and such
Where you could get a smile
And a warm gentle touch.

Where people would exchange recipes
And taste each others foods.
And bring smiles of happiness to
Get others out of their moods.

What ever happened to kids playing

Shine as gold

Dreams are shattered and scattered
When wrong arena is entered
Same hands may run after you and blood hungry
As they have lost the patience and became angry

His one word was law
Whole desert kingdom echoed it to allow
Millions spread the message of savior
He was considered as genuine runner

How many prayed for his long life
Life had been difficult to walk on edge of knife
This man had brought all happiness
Faces shined, joy expressed and traced

Power corrupts absolutely
Erodes position and become known latterly
When everything has gone out of hand
Foes and well wishers have already turned against from friends

Mother...

Mother, who gave us her heart...her very soul.
Mother, who's understanding never wavered.
Mother, the one who dried our tears.
Mother, she lead us to the path of His Love.
Mother, who washed our cloths and cleaned the house.
Mother, who instilled confidence in her children.
Mother, who walked us to school.
Mother, who loved us like no other.
Mother, who quelled the anger within us.
Mother, who drove us to all our practices.
Mother, who never forgot our special occasions.
Mother, who protected her family, as a lion to a cub.
Mother, who always supported our father.
Mother, who scrimped and saved for our daily needs.
Mother, who was always the last to eat.
Mother, who was always the first to rise.
Mother, who cared for the animals.
Mother, a love that knew no limits.
Mother, who forever placed her family, before herself.
Mother, who was grateful, for every passing acknowledgement.

Mindful and Thoughtful is better than successful!

Mindful and thoughtful,
The one understands nothing is True than one's own Self and its talent.

The meaningful life is not a dream,
It is not a life full of dreams,
Neither pleasure nor the pressure,
Change him and make him playful!
One who is playful change to thoughtful,
When pain and strain going in vain,
lessons learnt by playful daring kid,
Balances itself between
mindful deeds and Strainful roads!

Noble are those who know the nature,
life is that journey, controlling senses,
Mind is the tool that controls, body senses and mind itself,
Self is rider of the chariot,
Control and drive it safe!

Successful life has no definition,

911

Our hearts cleaved that horrific day.
The early morning sun shined bright.
No clues were noticed-giveaways
that could forewarn the urbanites.

It began like any Tuesday.
A workday for most New Yorkers.
People bustling to the subways
on their way to their employers.

Still early, not all arrived where
their designated work stations
are situated. Poor souls! unaware
of their imminent destruction.

Suddenly, at eight forty two
A living bomb with mal-vigor
Intentionally, in plain view
Crashed through the north twin tower.

Summer Rose

Winters instincts freeze the day,
My lovely summer rose shed it's petal's to keep the cold away,
Every petal resembles warmth and a new love into my heart,
Melting all of the ice inside to make a shallow bay,
Piercing me with her thorns like a dart,
Blinding me with its view,
My summer rose came into bloom,

The light shined like never before,
Bringing me into a world of never-ending doors,
A summer rose showed me the way,
Into the door that sealed my heart with yours forever to stay,
As the door closes keeping only you inside,
Your heart and mine began to collide,

One rose truly stood out most of all,
A summer rose only i can see,
Show everyone how much you mean to me,
Fill them with what you hold back and only keep for me within you,
Everybody watch closely and begin to see,

Corruption

Sure it was so. Man in those early days
Was not all stone and earth;
He shined a little, and by those weak rays
Had some glimpse of his birth.
He saw Heaven o'er his head, and knew from whence
He came, condemned hither;
And, as first love draws strongest, so from hence
His mind sure progressed thither.
Things here were strange unto him: sweat and till,
All was a thorn or weed:
Nor did those last, but - like himself - died still
As soon as they did seed.
They seemed to quarrel with him, for that act
That felled him foiled them all:
He drew the curse upon the world, and cracked
The whole frame with his fall.
This made him long for home, as loth to stay
With murmurers and foes;
He sighed for Eden, and would often say,
'Ah! what bright days were those!'

Over split milk

I may be taken away
As there is no other way
Destiny is all that we can say
Yet I feel not fine with present day

What to look back and what to remember?
When I have failed to think and render
The sun had shined all over the life again
But alas! Nothing stuck to mind and all went in drain

I am unable to visualize as to what went wrong
Why I was not prepared to take it as simple song?
What was hitch in spending little time for my brethren?
What did bother me all the way engulfed with the concern?

I have no answer for all at this crucial hour
Life meant just joke and merely a pleasure tour
I was so arrogant in behavior and did not care
The life was meant to enjoy and only to share
