End Of All Things
Every city has its history.
History of great wars!
History of great works!
What makes a civilization great
Are the noble thoughts of noble men.
Savages are killed
And the empires built!
Draping of huge towers and artistic halls
Decorate the ageing
Frame of the ever-growing city.
Ballads are sung
For great many victories and achievements
Of great many kings!
But no one cares
To sing an Elegy
Of love lost
In the busy alleys
Of the towering cities!

Commuter Train Blues
The roots are shallow and my skills are weak
The tunes look pallid and walk in their sleep
Poems are a language I stumble to speak
At the foot of the barrel, lying deep in the well
Love I once mastered, now a sweet gift from hell
Locked tight by kindness in a torturous cell
Nature's work done, there is now only pain
Where pleasure would come, the knowledge of shame
In desiring a soul that flies freely again
Don't wish to buy things they're so desperate to sell
Don't need to live anywhere they wish me to dwell
Nor care to think thoughts that are not mine to tell
I won't gamble on life with their bright red chips
At tilted green tables in a game that is fixed
I am running with luck on strong metal hips

This Coming Valentine's Day
what can i tell you now?
you always had it in your mind
that i betrayed your love.
i have nothing to say to defend
my own self.
i have long been punished by
my own lingering
loneliness.
i punished myself like
Oedipus.
Blind i walk the lonely alleys
of my life
grappling but still
surviving as i do not wish
to drag this precious life
to my own
self-willed destruction
life has its place

Typhoon
typhoons are not that strong
sometimes
they behave like
critics, passing by an
island, saying, hey you
are not an island after
all, you are just a hill
fit for a Bollywood
scene
I am in that island
feeling some itch
of its breeze, but i was too
busy then
climbing one
of the narrative trees
there
and he asks
is there such a thing

Called Them Heros...
Many have been wounded on the
battlefield of life. Wounded, in
their homes, streets and back
alleys of social interaction.
In the battle to survive, are there
more formidable enemies, than
grief, loneliness, illness, poverty,
and lost love?
So many, although seemingly
defeated, by an army of foes,
to opposition of life and living,
they fight...go on.
Countless millions, are wounded by
emotional bullets...lethal grenades
of death, taking a loved one... and the
machine gun fire, of cancer and
other devastating diseases.

Let It Fall
One more anti-hero worship
from the depths
of some enigmatic fool
that left the suburbs
for the open fields
of post modern flight from hell.
No, not from the quakes
or the rumblings of racism,
that stench we all tend
to want to get rid of,
but the fact that there
were just too many things wrong.
So off I went to the last
journey of my youth,
through the pubs and alleys
of Los Angeles that served
many nights of reckless talk
and the establishment be damned.
There goes Happy House, Scream
and all those open up at 10 pm

Fake Friend(Revised, In Line Form, Oh and Viewable
The poison seeps from of your eyes.
I can read your lies.
Pure and innocent are dead and gone.
Fake it just fake it.
Pretending your some thing your not.
In the end I win cause I have had been in the alleys.
I've slept in a abandon home to keep from catching cold.
Where were you then my fake friend?
Who do think your fooling?
Do you stop and try to give a ride?
So how bout it my fake friend.
Such a beautiful sharlton.
When I was getting beat up in the courts by five guys for protecting a races rights.
Where were you then my fake friend?
When my house burnt before my very own eyes.
Where were you then?
Hiding behind closed doors like so many times before.
Every thing has been standing still.
I knew the time would come when I would be done with it.
You can't help those who lead.
