Dark Romance

I'm dying to resist you
But trying to breathe
I must not be near you
If I want to leave

Your eyes like warnings
Your hands like signs
on says stay away
the other stay the night

Your body like a puzzle
Your mind like a game
one says let go
the other says wait

Your surroundings move me
just the right way
Your voice surrounds me
like an echo but no fate

A Year and A Day

A year and a day
Are all that lay
Between me and
My love

A year and a day
Three months 'til May
The year leaping
Above

A year and a day
You scorn to say
Is destiny
Belov'd

A year and a day
I slight cliché
This puzzle I
Speak of

Other Houses

My house builds other houses,
Opening fires and closing the clothes;
Make it exist beyond the shadows,
Surprise us with its expectant earnings.

My mansion manufactures a person of health,
From health to journeys of fires.
The suffering causes more to exceed us,
Like the same puzzle recurring for the better.

My house warns our belongings,
It surprises us once in a while.
After the hill, is a mansion of love,
Hills are like the mountains of our journey.

On the whitewashed wall

A train of black Ants like a pilgrimage,
While they are going never miss to talk each other.
Where are they going?
It's a puzzle for me.
Soon they vanished and I touched the wall,
I felt the vibration of their footsteps.
I am sure they found another World beyond the wall.
I sit and scribble in between the walls
But I cannot see the outside unless I break the wall.

*Oh! Who made this barrier? I thought it's ordinary bricks but much stronger than mud!

Making A Jigsaw Puzzle Of The View

pull out sunset down to the sea
hide it on the horizon
pull up the seagulls and put the
moon at the center then scatter
the stars like seashells and fnally
get a picture of yourself and cut
your face and hands into pieces
be sure to mix the fingers and
interchange the left from the right
cut some more of yourself into
differents sizes and shapes

let us see how she really cares
let her solve the jigsaw puzzle
let her make yourself whole again

The Earth

A pale blue dot caught in a beam of light
A palace of ravishing greenery
A harmonious symphony of life
A perpetual puzzle of land and sea

A place where volcanoes vomit lava
A place where hurricanes swarm
A place where tornadoes gyrate
And yet creates itself again

The Earth

A place of ambitions
A place of emotions
A place of cruelty
A place of poverty

This is the Earth
GOD's little stage of mortality
A gateway to utopia

To My Friends in the City

seen from space
we're a single dot
so smart
so beautiful
the brightest point
on this gray map
is it any wonder
that we've all found each other?
each of us
surrounded by warmth on all sides
yet fearing we'll be cold forever
because of the warped shapes we're in
silly rabbits
our flaws are the perfectly sculpted edges
of puzzle pieces
which would match perfectly
it's just
they've been slammed together
in random order
by that ham-fisted child called love

Must I Outlive You?

Must I outlive the one I love?
I pray that this can't be.
To wither slowly through old age
will leave my heart empty.

I do not wish to outlive you.
But this is beyond my control.
I have lived my life to please you
and without you I'm not whole.

Little bits and pieces of me
are ingrained in who we were.
They fit together like a puzzle
or the patches on a comforter.

And so these waking hours
when I contemplate
this stark reality that I now face
I pray ‘tis not my fate.

The Thirst

How to quell one's thirsting wish
is not an easy quest.
It does not happen overnight
and it offers you no rest.

One must be patient and persevere
and allow for time to pass.
Take up knitting or puzzle fitting
and pray your brain will last.

And do you want the thirst to leave
by filling it with bitter drink?
Better to keep on thirsting.
Better not to think.

So I'll keep on wishing
and play the wanton role.
And if life can't excuse me,
I'll be forgiven by my soul.

The Glass/Č Aša

Would you have liked it if it had not been broken?
Who likes those smashed ones standing
At the edges of the tables made of pain
Who likes to put them together like pieces of a puzzle
Fill them with the water from their own fountain
Drink them to the bottom and smash them again?

Dali bi je volio da nije bila slomljena?
Ko voli one što skrhano stoje
Na ivicama trpeza od bola
Ko voli da ih ko slagalicu spoji
Napuni vodom sa svoga izvora
Ispije do dna i ponovo razbije?
