She had the rusty confidence of an older woman
who had fixed her mirror at 23
no later images allowed
as she took in my face
and allowed
those beautiful eyes of hers
to wander down and over me
lingering longer than a lady's eyes should
which made them into bedroom eyes
which she did not seek to conceal
looking up to see me looking into those eyes
having their forbidden views
but she didn't mind that I knew and understood
their meanings and intents
while I could see she could see
me the younger man
learning lessons from her
and she guessed
needed what she had to teach,
if I could get pass her lined face

The color of the dream

dreams are made of color, according to one own perception
and experience, neither each dream are just a simple one,
nay, it is only a fruit of illusion or a product of hallucination,
but the fact remain, that it is always a part our life

in dream, our imagination creates, the things that we want too,
the impossible becomes a reality to grasp, the satisfaction, that
brings and leads us to achieve the things we dream off, it is
the end where our commitment begins

so real, that each parts of the body move, to concretize, what we
aim for in life, it might be impossible but the minds that initiate,
has made everything making the best of it, possible to exist,
a fulfillment that the body, the soul has come to join in force, to
satisfy the illusion of the mind

in our life, all are just started in dream, the future of our existence,
are pattern in this kind of imagination, a concept, a notion that
comes to being, a creation of God, that until today the fulfillment
has yet to come, when everything will be done in his own purpose

Citius, Altius, Fortius

The audience has gathered, the stage is set-
Now is the time to see if your expectations are met
With victory as the only acceptable outcome:
You came in search of a gold medal and will not leave without one.
You test yourself against the very best in the world,
In hopes that when all is said and done, Old Glory is unfurled.
As the event unfolds, the battle for supremacy
Causes you to question your training's efficacy
For a brief moment, until you dig deeper than ever before.
The pain builds in your body-but, you must ignore
It until you achieve your Olympic dream;
You have done it-above all others, you reigned supreme!
The Stars and Stripes shall wave highest, to mark this achievement.
While all others are consoled, in their moments of bereavement,
You revel in your goal's fruition: to be the very best.
You trained for many years and excelled at every test
Along the way, in preparation for this moment in time.
The road has not been easy, and long has been the climb,
Yet, on this day your feat is unmatched and your nation is proud.
You represented us with honor and courage and our cheers are loud.

Other Night

The other night I went to heaven
How I got there I will never know
But I realized that I was in heaven
When my feet touched the road of gold.
And as I passed through those pearly gates
A warmth and happiness entered my soul
A peace was in me, that set me free
Because at last, I knew I was home.
And when I was in heaven
Everyone, they knew my name,
I saw relatives and friends, long past gone
But in my eyes, none of them had changed.
And everyone there was happy to see me
Even the souls that I never knew before,
And some how I knew them all
We were equal, we all had the same Lord.

I remember beauty and it was known everywhere

To Two Magical Eyes...

Beloved,
Should these words chance to pass your glimpse or whisper through your distant ears, then know, standing this lonesome seam I ink the drops of tacit tears, while drawing shadows of your dreams on tomorrows of all yesteryears...

In times when Summer merged with Spring and Fall stood still to reach its height, I wondered what might future bring through stormy days and rainy nights and drew the colours of your Autumn wings when Winter paled my fragile sight...

When one desert greeted endless sunrise, my kingdom shined with ruinous rays; there vultures noshed my veins to dry, by countless corpses found my place; swaddled in dust ‘neath cloudless skies, long miles of cactus pierced my face, still drew the sea of your mirage-eyes to drench the sigh of wilderness...

Once twilight shot stars on haunted shire and shadows took abysmal turn; by the branches where every leaf breathed fire, the thirsty valleys had their throats to burn; birds broke their nests by floral pyre by nodding trees had my prayers begun; to the call of heaven raised mine eyes higher and drew your rays in the last of sun...

That eve when I went to a florist’s tent, she showed some flowers not seen before; with waxed out petals, their thorns were waned yet unmatched to the shade you bore; though myths would say roses were meant to ever last for evermore; beside those bouquets of withered scent, I drew your name in a tulip’s core...

My brain’s not of the wisest men, nor wealthy cottons suit my skin; faceless, alone, worthless, insane - I wander planets of your sheen; through plains of Arab, China, Spain - searching for you each place I’ve been and may forgo all treasures when your galaxy’s for me to win...

And now, when I chanted loud your name, one ballad smiled on dancing lips; to the steps of sonnets this far I came, one trunk of verses filled my grip -
Beloved,
I may not offer the best of poems
yet they are all for you to keep...

Memory lake

Remember when we carved our names on the rail,
Back in our younger days.
Remember when we’d stay out late and talk,
until the sun found it’s resting place.

And we’d sit and watch the planes fly high and the birds fly low,

For purpose

O lord, you created me for purpose
I have no reason to go in deep and suppose
I was meant to be unique and alone
I was not to pass it as lone

Being quiet should not be taken as light
In my own way I am obedient and right
Neither have I any urge to make scuffle and fight
Not any desire to prove them wrong or right

I preferred front so not to loose back
Lie always low so not to claim or stake
Dark complexioned but in no way suffering
Smiled a lot with lots of good will and offering

Assertive and bold in nature
I can clearly see the future
Love and not the hate must proclaim
I remain firm but quiet and calm

Never heard before

Salute to you mother for your great service
You were so simple with no gadget or device
You did miracles for poor and downtrodden
You were remembered then and now even

You were dropped from heaven like Messiah or angel
You were shining star from every angle
We saw in you a divine light and followed
You never objected to but embraced and allowed

May be you had seen the tragedy of life
Thee time may not have been right or riddled with strife
You adopted to serve the mankind and particularly poor
Who were denied access and kept at the door

Whatever she did was never heard this before
Came on earth with divine message to serve therefore
To nurture the wounds and take care of destitute
She was her self complete mission as an institute

A death not menace

You were business tycoons
Your empire was at the height shined in noon
It was associated with pride
It was open fact and was nothing to hide

As an individual you had thrown complete weight
You had lion’s share to take it to its height
Nobody could do it as you did
You had provided great impetus and lead

What else you needed in life at later stage
The years were passing off to touch the age
You did your level best to build the empire
No one could ignore you to admire

You were best as good administrator but no humanist
You did all to make it success and insisted

Love of Radha, Lord Krishna!

Radha was Krishna's Love,
Nay, Radha was Krishna's part,
Krishna was Radha heart,
She came dancing to tune of flute,
She was breath of his music,
She filled his Murali with Love divine,
He made her spine his flute,
Chakras become seven holes of flute,
played strange notes, became her light and joy,
Sitting below lean against tree,
with legs stretched like kind loving mother,
She took his head in her lap,
Love talked for hours in silence,
Her face Krishna saw in his own light,
And in her eyes his own figure,
In her heart his own face,
Love is that lamp glowing in her heart,
light of love spread whole world,
even the Sun and moon reflected Radha's love!
