Our Love
Jerry lynn williams
Day by day Im lost for words to say
I try and speak but the words wont come
You and I should take these wings and fly
Its time to ring every bell and beat on every drum
Cause our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world
What we need is just a little love and well succeed
The time has come for everyone to know
That you and I were all the reasons why
He taught the birds to sing and made the flowers grow
And our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world
The time has come for everyone to know
He taught the birds to sing and made the flowers grow
And our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world

Kallundborg Church ( From The Tent on the Beach)
"Tie stille, barn min!
Imorgen kommer Fin,
Fa'er din,
Og gi'er dich Esbern Snares öine og hjerte at lege med!"
Zealand Rhyme.
"BUILD at Kallundborg by the sea
A church as stately as church may be,
And there shalt thou wed my daughter fair,"
Said the Lord of Nesvek to Esbern Snare.
And the Baron laughed. But Esbern said,
"Though I lose my soul, I will Helva wed!"
And off he strode, in his pride of will,
To the Troll who dwelt in Ulshoi hill.
"Build, O Troll, a church for me
At Kallundborg by the mighty sea;
Build it stately, and build it fair,

A Kiss To Build A Dream On
(feat. Arturo Sandoval)
Gimme a kiss to build a dream on
And my imagination
Will thrive upon that kiss
Sweetheart, I ask no more than this
A Kiss to build a dream on
Give me a kiss before you leave me
And my imagination
Will feed my hungry heart
Leave me one thing before we part
A kiss to build a dream on
When I'm alone with my fancies
I'll be with you
Weaving romances
And making believe they're true
So, gimme your lips for just a moment
And my imagination
will make that moment live
Well, give me what you alone can give
A kiss to build a dream on

Bring Back The Sun
Little white house
Its everything we dream about
We wanted you to know
Im hanging up my e-go...
We shouldnt have to fight
Or worry about the bills tonight
I wanted you to know
I wanna be your shadow
Mysterys gone
So bring back the sun
Oh bury this hate
Build it with love
The mysterys gone
So bring back the sun
Oh bury this hate
Build it with love, ho oh
Little batter high
Grass wasnt greener I found
Wanted you to know
Well I dug you up a rainbow

The Cities Of White Men
Those men build many houses:
They dig the earth, and they build;
They cut down the trees, and they build;
They work always - building.
From the elevation of the mountainside
I behold the clouds:
The clouds build many beautiful houses in the sky:
They build, and they tear down;
They build, and they dissolve. . . .
The cities of white men,
They are not beautiful like the cloud cities;
They are not vast, like the cloud cities. . . .
A wind-swept teepee
Is all the house I own. . .

A Monument For The Soldiers
A monument for the Soldiers!
And what will ye build it of?
Can ye build it of marble, or brass, or bronze,
Outlasting the Soldiers' love?
Can ye glorify it with legends
As grand as their blood hath writ
From the inmost shrine of this land of thine
To the outermost verge of it?
And the answer came: We would build it
Out of our hopes made sure,
And out of our purest prayers and tears,
And out of our faith secure:
We would build it out of the great white truths
Their death hath sanctified,
And the sculptured forms of the men in arms,
And their faces ere they died.
And what heroic figures
Can the sculptor carve in stone?

A Poor Christian Looks At The Ghetto
Bees build around red liver,
Ants build around black bone.
It has begun: the tearing, the trampling on silks,
It has begun: the breaking of glass, wood, copper, nickel, silver, foam
Of gypsum, iron sheets, violin strings, trumpets, leaves, balls, crystals.
Poof! Phosphorescent fire from yellow walls
Engulfs animal and human hair.
Bees build around the honeycomb of lungs,
Ants build around white bone.
Torn is paper, rubber, linen, leather, flax,
Fiber, fabrics, cellulose, snakeskin, wire.
The roof and the wall collapse in flame and heat seizes the foundations.
Now there is only the earth, sandy, trodden down,
With one leafless tree.
Slowly, boring a tunnel, a guardian mole makes his way,
With a small red lamp fastened to his forehead.

Build Upon The Rock
Don’t build a life around anyone, but build your life upon God’s Son,
Build your life upon The Rock, God’s Cornerstone of Eternal Stock.
Through this life you will endure, on His foundation sound and sure,
By building a family in this life, in The Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
God the Father above sent His Son, to this earth below for everyone,
So men could move from shifting sand, to build upon The Son of Man.
Christ was sent to be a Cornerstone, of every family and every home,
In Christ God offers all salvation, God’s one and only true foundation.
Christ will become the stable part, of both your home and your heart,
He is the one part, you will find, that always gives you peace of mind.
As things in life must rearrange, you will find Christ does not change,
Unchanging Truths guide your life, when you’re on the Rock of Christ.
Christ will help you stand up tall, when others around you seem to fall,
As they stumble through life’s sand, Christ holds you up with His Hand.
He’s the one to build a future on, when all others have come and gone,
And a future that extends well beyond, this present earth that we’re on.

We Built
- We build a wall never to fall cause we wanted to be alone.
- We build a love so strong never to be torn or ripped apart cause we knew it wasn’t wrong.
- We build a friendship with a solid foundation, with solid rocks, in a ship that never sinks but floats cause we knew it would stand forever its course.
- We build a wall never to collapse, crumble or fall cause all we wanted was to be alone.
- We build a love so strong and bold never to be torn, ripped apart, a sworn love, cause we knew it wasn’t wrong.
- We build a friendship with a solid foundation based on honesty and trust, built with solid rocks, in a heavenly ship that never sinks but floats as though you’re walking on air cause we knew it would stand forever and remain here.
And as I gaze at the clouds that forms encrypted scriptures of our blossoming love, I sigh with relief as I now believe in a love everlasting, my mind spins as dizziness settles in, I’m in for a surprise and then you descended from the skies.
Oh I smile get confused for a while, I can’t believe my naked eyes, you a friend of mine now soon to be a lover of mine, you caught me by surprise, it was you that always ignited my heart filled it up with desire, you that I dreamt of at night, Still your face was unclear for a while, yes I now remember that smile and how could I forget those eyes I get lost in every time.
Then as you touched the ground with your naked feet you reached for me, mesmerized I could hardly speak-move yet still YOU-YOU moved, moved closer how could a heart beat be so loud it deafened the crowd, then you spoke out loud but in a foreign tongue I couldn’t make out, then slowly as though you were not moving kissed me in a way I could hardly make out as though you spoke while we kissed.
It was you that always ignited my heart, you a friend of mine, soon to be a lover of all time.

Towers of Ivory
Subdued by the paregoric dream-land,
Your sleepy eyes stare into the nowhere
Flashing on the screen by buttoned demand
And cosmic transmission's continued care.
They'll feed you full of the barbiturates—
Hypnotic images made inculcate—
Just to keep you still and inscouciant…
Perhaps collectiv'ly agglutinant.
God bless them and their commercial glory—
Clearing the streets of all the miscreants—
So they could build towers of ivory.
Someday, you'll be packaged and maybe canned
In the aluminum chamber's stale air,
Controlled by the factory's firm command—
Which compresses you to the market square.
There, in process, you may capitulate,
Your core contained as pulp concentrate.
Saw the top off, keep yourself compliant
When you lose you lid, scalping salient.
