Our desire for more always exceeds our needs
Hence wealth, power and greed have always been married

We always want more

I read to understand what generation of breed
Has given birth to this senseless weed

Fell greed begot by man, by men in numbers
lost control of themselves, became wasted
needed to fill the fell void, the darkness
in twisted desire, seeking without thinking
thinking without caring, without compassion
grinning to grow beyond the individual
striving towards a green light called dollars
Dollars become numbers, become control
Control our lives, take away our spirit
Numbers, so contemplated, become control
green light turns greed to control
lost our spirits in the mathy green light
gave it up for control, for responsibility
lost the spontaneity, lost the caring
gave it up for a better life, they said
then turned the better life into making math
math was numbers in green light,
copulating with greed, carressing greed
taking greed and growing, losing sight
perpetual motion of growth, of stagnation

Greed will make you hurngry
you'll never get enough...
it can tear a life apart
Greed is nasy stuff..
don't get greedy - don't be greedy
once you let yoursef be greedy
you can't go back again...

i know a man named Jessy
his Grandma was sitting good..
he set out to win her turst
and take everything he could..
he got greedy
he was greedy..
Jessy let himself get greedy
And He can't go back again...
Greed turns family on family
makes a friend the enemy
it can turn you on your Grandma

Darkness Of Greed

Greed!
Causing innocent blood to flow
Entire culture, lost in the overthrow
They came to seize and take whatever they please
Then all they gave back was death and disease
My people were left with no choice but to decide
To conform to a system, responsible for genocide
Responsible for genocide
Responsible for genocide...
