Open Sesame (couplet)
Open sesame, let have fame and dime,
In time. like not the past same, for all the time.

Love is the vital essence that pervades and permeates, from the center to the circumference, the graduating circles of all thought and action. Love is the talisman of human weal and woe--the open sesame to every soul.

Love....my Dear...
This is the garden
where yellow daffodils bloom throughout summer
There are trees around here
where birds build their nests
Birds sing and play
feeding on sesame seeds
in a small house i build for them
hanging on the
gutter
This is a cozy room my dear
where i undress before you
without feeling
any shame

Open Sesame....
because i care for you,
i must learn to love the intricacies of
paranoia,
time must cure
what friendships lack
Open Sesame!
let the caves open their doors
and now
display the jewelries, and
shining glories within.
the mind eats up
what we store
let all these be consumed
so we can be light as sparrows
and learn again
how to fly

Tickle The Skins On My Feet
tickle the skins on my feet
with the tips of the hair in your
head,
i will smile
you will matter
bow down as i spread my
thoughts on the floor
like a geisha
you shall pick them up
like sesame seeds
and offer them with some
steam and tea
tonight
i will be your samurai
without a sword
i have this cherry
blossom to put in your breast

Decline
naked along the side of the house,
8 a.m., spreading sesame seed oil
over my body, Jesus, have I come
to this?
I once battled in dark alleys for a
laugh.
now I'm not laughing.
I splash myself with oil and wonder,
how many years do you want?
how many days?
my blood is soiled and a dark
angel sits in my brain.
things are made of something and
go to nothing.
I understand the fall of cities, of
nations.
a small plane passes overhead.
I look upward as if it made sense to
look upward.
it's true, the sky has rotted:

Amphora 1776
My name Amphora, by life's teeming beach
Am for her waiting. Open sesame!
Unlocked am I allowing her to reach
Deep down to taste stored serendipity.
Echoes pulsate, surf resonates, see sea's
Murmur key to, through, pure essence, stir
A treasure only she may measure, seize
Unlimited exchange as sweet as myhrr.
Destiny, uncertain though it seems,
Enchanting opportunity creates,
Magic bridge between the land of dreams
And second state reality relates,
Underpinning all affection shines
DEpending on 'I'm for her' in these lines

Love, Luck, and Lies
How grand it is to be earnest,
To win the heart of one’s beloved.
Having the love of such a beauty
And even her hand in marriage.
And yet such a dense lady to adore;
For with my name she loves me true,
And without it, she loves me not.
Why do I, then, make it business
To take her as my wife?
Is her love so delightful and worthy
If she cannot love me if I were Jack?
Well marriage is but a misunderstanding
And divorces are indeed made in heaven.
And if it takes a lie to love
And to win her heart as well;
Then let love and luck and lies prevail,
For how grand it is to be Ernest!

Karenge Ya Marenge
Wherein are words sublime or noble? What
Invests one speech with haloed eminence,
Makes it the sesame for all doors shut,
Yet in its like sees but impertinence?
Is it the hue? Is it the cast of eye,
The curve of lip or Asiatic breath,
Which mark a lesser place for Gandhi’s cry
Than “Give me liberty or give me death!”
Is Indian speech so quaint, so weak, so rude,
So like its land enslaved, denied, and crude,
That men who claim they fight for liberty
Can hear this battle-shout impassively,
Yet to their arms with high resolve have sprung
At those same words cried in the English tongue?

Sashimi Loveliness
there is still something
raw in that relationship which
takes years to
grow
the tendrils of illusions
soft
it is like
salmon sashimi
sushi
bathed in wasabi cream
green hotness
which i leave softly still inside
my mouth
which my tongue savors
like
a pearl
a treasure of sesame
oil
with rice wine
