Kings Of Trash

ROAMING free, in a spell bound
dream, there are snakes here,
dangerous snakes, and the isolation,
of a drunken king, one man grapples,
another crys, another throws himself,
into the wicked night.
ROAMING free, into the devels arms,
theres are drugs to make you like him,
and drugs to stop your heart,
there are snakes here, dangerous snakes,
and the isolation of a drunked king.

In The End, A Sad King

ROAMING free, in a spell bound
dream, there are snakes here,
dangerous snakes, and the isolation
of a drunken king. one man grapples,
another crys, another throws himself
into the wicked night.
ROAMING free, into the devels arms,
theres are drugs to make you like him,
and drugs to stop your heart.
there are snakes here, dangerous snakes,
and the isolation of a drunked king.
ROAMING free hand to hand, there is
hope here, and death to a wicked king.

Unravel

The bat unravels
His life
By flying high inside the dark caves
But also people went into the dark caves where the bats were
And they never made a sound
Also I congratulated them because they are brave
Eventhough inside of the cave was water and they went for a splash Also
But they caught some eel for them to have for dinner
But the german men that went in the cave found so many water snakes and He caught some water snakes for his dinner and he grilled The water snakes Outside the caves but the other people had to eat The eel raw
But the German men said that the snakes tasted so good that Reminded him of grilled chicken

Snakes

Listen to them hiss and rattle!
Snakes in fear...
A way of life comes to a close.
And from under rocks...
They've been shakened and shocked,
From their comfort zones.

Listen to them hiss and rattle!
Snakes awakened,
Feeling threatened...
But certainly not mistaken.
For a diminished way of life,
Too many for too long have condoned!

A venom inflicted,
Now comes to afflict them.
No longer can they sting and bite.
In sight they are now for everyone to see...
Just how desperate,
Snakes can be.

Polly puts the kettle on

Polly puts the kettle on
Snakes rattle on insane
Round the kettle rattle on
All she puts is in vain

Polly bottles water deep
The taps mocks her ‘bravo’
But water steam stubborn peeps
The dishes clatter NO

‘The steam’s too high
Up on a ceiling
It winds too nigh
To a broken feeling’

‘What’ asks Polly
‘Hiss’ say snakes
‘What’s at stake
When kettles break? ’

On the desert

On the desert
A silence from the moon's deepest valley.
Fire rays fall athwart the robes
Of hooded men, squat and dumb.
Before them, a woman
Moves to the blowing of shrill whistles
And distant thunder of drums,
While mystic things, sinuous, dull with terrible colour,
Sleepily fondle her body
Or move at her will, swishing stealthily over the sand.
The snakes whisper softly;
The whispering, whispering snakes,
Dreaming and swaying and staring,
But always whispering, softly whispering.
The wind streams from the lone reaches
Of Arabia, solemn with night,
And the wild fire makes shimmer of blood
Over the robes of the hooded men
Squat and dumb.
Bands of moving bronze, emerald, yellow,

Snake

snakes, scaly, slippery, a cold lump morbidly crawling
through the dark tunnel of memory
some creatures are born cursed
they are spat, and trumpled on
so that the nerves slithered when i actually
came face to face with one at two or three
the black six inch long they called two headed thing
propped my interest further
you dont get to see one often
i could not remember whether it had ended up
under somebody's stick or a parang
but thanks to the snake it helped me
hold onto a figment otherwise
would have been lost on the tail of time
an inert lump resting on cold yellow soil
guilty heavy of heaven and earth
all ready to take the cold and
inhumane blows of the world

once in while a little one would surface

The Aeneid of Virgil: Book 7

AND thou, O matron of immortal fame,
Here dying, to the shore hast left thy name;
Cajeta still the place is call’d from thee,
The nurse of great Æneas’ infancy.
Here rest thy bones in rich Hesperia’s plains; 5
Thy name (’t is all a ghost can have) remains.
Now, when the prince her fun’ral rites had paid,
He plow’d the Tyrrhene seas with sails display’d.
From land a gentle breeze arose by night,
Serenely shone the stars, the moon was bright, 10
And the sea trembled with her silver light.
Now near the shelves of Circe’s shores they run,
(Circe the rich, the daughter of the Sun,)
A dang’rous coast: the goddess wastes her days
In joyous songs; the rocks resound her lays: 15
In spinning, or the loom, she spends the night,
And cedar brands supply her father’s light.
From hence were heard, rebellowing to the main,
The roars of lions that refuse the chain,
The grunts of bristled boars, and groans of bears, 20

A Poor Snake Charmer's Charming Daughter!

Though she's beautiful
Nobody comes behind her?
One day in the class room
Literature teacher asked her to write an essay.
She wrote with a piece of chalk
On the black board;
'My father has three snakes
Hope, Prosper and Dancer their names.
And when the snakes dance in the market place
Papa is very happy and he brings us sweets & money home.
We have no venom and why the venomous World
Looks at us on a different angle?
Because of these snakes we get a sound sleep in the night
As the thieves never jump over our rickety fence?
Though we eat bread crumbs father never forgets to buy
Their daily three eggs!
I dream sometimes that I marry a rich & handsome snake-Prince
And my poor father rests on a couch in the palace corner? '
