Narrative And Dramatic The Wanderings Of Oisin
BOOK I
S. Patrick. You who are bent, and bald, and blind,
With a heavy heart and a wandering mind,
Have known three centuries, poets sing,
Of dalliance with a demon thing.
Oisin. Sad to remember, sick with years,
The swift innumerable spears,
The horsemen with their floating hair,
And bowls of barley, honey, and wine,
Those merry couples dancing in tune,
And the white body that lay by mine;
But the tale, though words be lighter than air.
Must live to be old like the wandering moon.
Caoilte, and Conan, and Finn were there,
When we followed a deer with our baying hounds.
With Bran, Sceolan, and Lomair,
And passing the Firbolgs' burial-motmds,

On Roanoke Island
On a summer day not long ago
I walked through the forest
On the Island of Roanoke
To my great delight there was not a soul in sight
All I saw was the sky and the sea
Seagulls flying rapture awaiting me
Spears of sunlight broke through a haze
Right by the old fort that mysterious place
It was then I felt I should not fail
To unravel a secret of long ago
What happened to the first colonists of Roanoke?
I summoned my courage to call out his name
The only person to know of the scheme
" Manteo" great Chief of the Island of Croatoan
Please shed some light onto what seems a terrible plight
There was a young mother named Eleanor who carried a child
So precious and fair all through history
We have known her as Virginia Dare
Silenceā¦ the call of a Jay a whispering breeze and I went on my way
It was then that I knew I would fail to unravel

Xoxa
Moon Island,
Come to me and take me home;
For Xoxa my love is stranded on the Sun Island!
And of the things to remember when,
We first met at the Moon City.

Hamlet Stranded In An Island Surrounded By Sharks
it is the same view from here
the sea and the island and the sharks around it
it is the same me
unable to decide whether to cross the see
leave the island
and take the risk with all the sharks

Australia is properly speaking an island, but it is so much larger than every other island on the face of the globe, that it is classed as a continent in order to convey to the mind a just idea of its magnitude.

The Outer Island
Small Island in a summer lake
And on a day of play
Young people were slaughtered by
A madman posing as normal.
Another summer the island is
Full of wild flowers
Whispering trees
A requiem for those left behind.
