I Can See You

In the
Corners
Of my
Eyes,
I can see
You

In the depths
Of my mind,
I can see you

In the halves
Of my heart,
I can see you

In the freckles
Of my face,
I can see you

At the touch

Titanium Girl

I see your name
but I can't see your pain
and sometimes I want
you could give me all that

I see your grace
but I can't see your face
although my eyes
are completly shut

I see your smile
but I can't see your eyes
and god how i'd wish
I could stare in your eyes

I see your tear
but I can't see your fear
you may be somewhat
as strong as your pain

And Here Comes Dark

It's dark outside
But I see the light
Then darkness
I see the light again
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I am lonely and sad
But I see the light
You ask my name
Then darkness
You take my hand
I see the light again
We fall in love
And here comes dark

It's dark outside
I can't find you
But I see the light
You were right there

Just to see your smile

Just to see your smile

Just to see your smile
The stars gather in the sky
And to feel your touch
The wind passes by

Just to see your smile
The waves hit the shores
And the sun wakes up so early
To see you offcourse

Just to see your smile
Fragrance comes into flowers
And to touch your hair
Water pours down in showers

Just to see your smile
The moon follows you everywhere
There’s someone else too who

The Life of One

The life of one is good
The life of one is bad
The life of one is glad
The life of one is sad
The life of one smiles
The life of one cries
The life of one see's the brightness of the sun
The life of one see's the dust rolling of there shoes
The life of one see's the beutifull of the night sky
The life of one see's the horror of darkness in the night
The life of one see's the beutifull in people
The life of one see's the ugly in people
The life of one is happy
The life of one is lost
The life of one is in attention
The life of one doesnt give a shit
The life of one cares for others
The life of one acts like he/she dont know you
The life of one see's the birds singing threw out the day
The life of one see's the shallows of the underworld

Paper Cuts

I stand and look at this uniform in discust
paper cuts. Paper cuts. Can you see my paper cut?
Soon. Soon this uniform will touch my open skin.
I go to sleep but suddenly I awake to the morning,
in this trench I hear the sound of guns, the rain is falling,
like myself,
my uniform is discovering blood from and because of my guts,
you thought a poets biggest pain was a paper cut?

You never knew that I knew pain
don't you know that I know pain all too well
well, I know it well like the devil knows hell
well, like a drug dealer who knows how to sell
like a life sentence inside a cell,
you cant touch the pain I feel the pain I felt.
Quiker than the bullit the word spreads
so take your shot make sure you dont waste it
bullit to bone word to mouth I can taste it.

You aim towards no mans land, you stand behind the barb wire

Rainbow Snake

This story of the Rainbow Serpent is an Australian aboriginal legend and I have re-told it, with the best of intentions, for an international audience. I may have made some changes to the story and I hope my re-telling is true to the spirit of the original versions.

the rainbow snake
see it tickles
the frogs
and water fills the rivers and gullies
and waterholes;
and see the rainbow snake
see it brings forth
all life sleeping before

it is the beginning

Years Of The Modern

YEARS of the modern! years of the unperform'd!
Your horizon rises--I see it parting away for more august dramas;
I see not America only--I see not only Liberty's nation, but other
nations preparing;
I see tremendous entrances and exits--I see new combinations--I see
the solidarity of races;
I see that force advancing with irresistible power on the world's
stage;
(Have the old forces, the old wars, played their parts? are the acts
suitable to them closed?)
I see Freedom, completely arm'd, and victorious, and very haughty,
with Law on one side, and Peace on the other,
A stupendous Trio, all issuing forth against the idea of caste;
--What historic denouements are these we so rapidly approach?
I see men marching and countermarching by swift millions; 10
I see the frontiers and boundaries of the old aristocracies broken;
I see the landmarks of European kings removed;
I see this day the People beginning their landmarks, (all others give
way;)
--Never were such sharp questions ask'd as this day;

To Whomsoever Concerned

I see your ‘waxen’ expressionless face;
I see your ‘marble ‘eyes but you know not;
I see your dirt behind your back though clean;
I see your white-collared criminality.

I see you wear a ‘mask’ upon your face;
I see you smile so artificially;
I see your ambiguous statements made;
I see your smooth-tongued nature with great ease.

I see your white lies, so daringly made;
I see your greed for money increasing;
I see your voice that’s pseudo-endearing;
I see the monotony of your speech.

I feel so sad for kind of person you’re;
I feel so sorry you will not be good;
I feel so desperate for souls like you;
I feel I’ve failed to turn you to new leaf.
