Quotes about Graduation, page 3
Graduation Day
The moment it is realized,
A chip long carried on your shoulder
Has been dissolved...
A graduation has occurred.
And you have moved on.
It has dawned on you,
Bitterness that you knew...
Has gone!
It's graduation day!
And knowing you belong among
Those who can truthfully say they can forgive.
Is a blessing to have lived to learn,
That lesson!
So many have failed and given up.
They are the ones heard stuck...
Finding fault with everything.
And nothing within them is felt to give!
Those are the ones who live life,
Being right without insight!
And on the tips of their tongues,

No better place for Graduation
Happy Graduation Day,
And what better nation is there than America for Graduation,
Let's celebrate in any and every way.
Mom has the cake,
Lisa is two and wondering what wish you'll make,
This is a great day, and thank God it is not fake,
Although I wish that I could taste the snowflake that isn't here,
We will need a designated driver,
Because today is one day to drink at least a beer.
Today is a day to have no fear,
If I believed in hunting I would eat some deer.
I wish Marla could be here,
She was taken at a young age,
I wish Ladonna could be here,
She is one reason to race for every cure.
I am not going to look in the mirror,
That would give me an image looking back,

Fourth Year
Four years have gone
And something's well done
It's not just the book
but the courage I took....
To have come this far
and winning the war
Of sleepless nights I battle
with my notes I patiently handle....
Through the rain and the sun
my school life's been fun
For the friends I made
half the weather is paid...
From the guards on the gate
and the bus drivers who wait
To the instructors who inspire
my grades got a little higher...
I'll come to acknowledge
for you all have given me advantage
To learn my lessons either ways
For both hard and easy pays...

Graduation (growing Up)
Graduation is a huge step
Not only for you
Your friends and your family
Don’t know what to do.
Will you keep in touch?
Will you call them every day?
Or will all of their memories,
Simply fade away?
Graduation is adrenaline,
It gets the heart a racing
But your poor folks feel stressed,
Soon they’ll start the pacing.
But knowing you tells me that you will never forget
Your high school years you will never regret
I know…..
That you will call your family
You’ll let them know you’re okay.
Even if you feel like it’s been a shitty day
Your friends will be close by you will surely keep in touch
For simply letting go would be a deadly punch

A Graduation Day Poem(Acrostic)
Happy Graduation Day to you!
At last you've completed this journey.
Preparing for a long time you've
Pursued what you've dreamed for and now
You are going on your way up
Greater things are waiting for you and
Really you are on your way now
And there's a more in the future for you to do and your
Dad and your mom must be very proud of you
Use your talents well and be the best you can be, remember
All that you have done to get where you're now
This is not the end but it's just the beginning for you so
Inspire others you meet on your way out to do the same and
Open the door of your heart and
Never quit dreaming but hold on tight to your hopes 'cause
Day after day there are more things to do and learn
And remember to be honest and true to you because...
You can make all your dreams come true one day too

She Is Forgotten Pt.2 (Story)
Graduation Day was today after school
school got out early
all of the future Freshmen
had to report to the High School Gymnasium
for a rehearsal...
it lasted about an hour
when she got home to get ready
for her graduation that would be starting
in 3 hours...
her sister had already been at home
her sisters friend Malorie was sitting
on the couch watchin 'Moulin Rouge'
her dad was also watchin it...
she sat down to relax before she got ready
she took a sip of her bottled water
and put the bottle on the coffee table
which was infront of her
her dad...annoying as usual...
picked up the bottle and
pretended to throw it at her...

Graduation: Crest And Trough
First day in college, full of determination,
Had own certain tenets and definitions,
Focused to achieve the only one aim,
Bringing proud to family and no shame,
Swiftness of time never polished
But only tainted,
Who this person in me I rented,
Aims and determination seemed fainted,
Graduation on the verge of end,
Hardly, any remarkable memories penned,
Seeing, myself disfigured I'm stunned,
All bad I owed, good just shunned,
Had a thought what am I going to do,
Was the thing, not too new,
Aim I had was single, not few,
At last it seemed I have to rue,

The Teacher's Reward
After the last lecture before exam week
she came down into the pit,
waiting her turn behind those who
wanted to hear what they had to know
for the final.
I was always tempted to say,
“Nothing, it’s up to you, it’s your education.”
But that would have taken longer,
and wouldn’t have made any sense
at the time, anyway.
And I didn't know her from Eve
because I had 673 students,
I’ll call them,
in three lecture sections.
She was not someone I had met.
She was not the one who had told me,
'Your exam wasn't fair, it made us think.'

Moms…
Moms are very special,
They are there to tell you to do your homework.
They give you your lunch because you forgot it.
Moms are there to embarrass you
By yelling your name at all your sports games.
Moms are there by your side
Just in case you get a boo-boo
And she can make the hurt go away
All just with one kiss.
Moms are there standing in front of the window
Watching daddy teach you how to ride a bicycle.
Moms are there sitting in the audience
Wishing you the best while you act in your first play.
Moms are there crying her eyes out
At your elementary graduation,

Poem: 'Journey of Life
- 27. June.2006 -
Feet pattering slowly, she walks a long and dusty road
Pondering that provoking thought ‘Where do I want my life to go’
She fears the change that sadly she knows must come
So terrified of that ending day, the day when her schooling days are done
Life passes her by as slowly she continues on her walk.
A week to graduation day, but she’s still pondering that thought
‘Where do I want my life to go’ and then what happens next?
I’ve conditioned myself to think like this, what happens when it ends
Now she’s standing there on graduation day
Crying as through her speech she tries to say
I don’t know where my life will go, or what happens when this ends
I don’t know what happens now, or if I’ll keep in touch with friends
