Came here so naive
Me they want to deceive
No longer in them I believe
What’s up Lucifer’s shirtsleeve?
Not a moment’s reprieve

Never Would Obeyed
You are hooked onto something,
You can not see has ended.
Hooked onto it with clinched teeth.
But the fact remains...
Things have changed.
Things have changed so fast overnight.
Those who refused to be real with it.
Are the ones going into childish,
Temper tantrums and other childish...
Mental throwing fits.
Have you tried to get someone to heal real quick?
Doesn't it seem such a waste of time?
Especially when you know someone,
Who has never owned their own mind.
Don't you find that asinine?
When someone can't make up their mind?
Trying to find reason...

Where the bright lights are dim
Read the two letters
One from the attorneys
Another from your father
Read fast because the old
Man is retiring.He might
be dying even by now
What says my father this time?
I don't want to be bothered
with burdening family troubles
Read it loud so we may laugh
I want to go out in the city where
the bright lights are dim
Your father is angry with you
Apparently you are blasting his
money on booze.You are womanizing
And you are neglecting your studies
Your father is very worried

How To Not Settle It
I LIKE, at times, to hear the steeples' chimes
With sober thoughts impressively that mingle;
But sometimes, too, I rather like--don't you?--
To hear the music of the sleigh bells' jingle.
I like full well the deep resounding swell
Of mighty symphonies with chords inwoven;
But sometimes, too, a song of Burns--don't you?
After a solemn storm-blast of Beethoven.
Good to the heels the well-worn slipper feels
When the tired player shuffles off the buskin;
A page of Hood may do a fellow good
After a scolding from Carlyle or Ruskin.
Some works I find,--say Watts upon the Mind,--
No matter though at first they seemed amusing,
Not quite the same, but just a little tame
After some five or six times' reperusing.

A Few Remarks on Goats, Asses and the Dead Hand
I don't mind kings and dukes and things;
I don't mind wigs or maces;
I don't mind crowns or robes or gowns
Or ruffles, swords or laces
But what I do object to, and some others more than I,
Are the mad old, bad old practices these baubles signify.
Good friends, brother Australians and fellow voters;
I think that you will agree with me that few of us are doters
Upon the customs, practices, fooleries and tommyrotics of the mouldy past;
Nor are we apt to cast
A reverent eye behindward upon ancient precedent:
Nor do we consent
To let the cold, clammy and unusually muddling Dead Hand
Control the destinies of this our native land.
Nay, rather do we stand
Tiptoe upon the summit of the Present, peering out,
With faces eager and expectant eyes, into the mystic Future. Have you a doubt
That in Progress, Business-like Procedure, Common-sense Habit, and Up-to-Date

Buzz Aldrin, Space Imperialist
Buzz Aldrin, Space Imperialist,
discovers a tiny brown lesion
on the end of his nose.
he uses his wife’s
concave make up mirror
to examine it more closely
and confirms his worse suspicions:
It’s malignant.
Coolly, he makes
one appointment with his dermatologist
and another in Samara.
After brushing his teeth
he takes another look
at the tiny brown Angel of Death.
It flakes off
-a brown booger.
Buzz cancels his appointments
and craves a celebratory drink terribly,
but summons his fantastic will power
and resists the urge.

A New Fix For 76
And now that psychedelias gone when the hell ya gonna face reality boy
We cant be that asinine to think that nineteen sixty nine was the way it should be
Theres a new moon with an old shine
So its time to open your heart as wide as you see
Sing a new song of mobility
Get a new fix for seventy six
And now whether our hairs short or long
The issue is not really if its right or wrong
But as long as its clean .... right
Ive gotta realize that our new found philosophies
Were only synthesized in the delusion of a flowerchild scene
Theres a new star in an old space
So its time you open your soul and set yourself free
Sing a new song of totality
Get a new fix for seventy six
So we thought we were cool and free
But then our heros blew their minds
With x and ys and lsd oh what a sin
Friend we gotta comprehend and we gotta learn from the past
And not dwell in it again and again and again

Satellite
I wonder how clear it must look from there to here
No obstruction, this selfish corruption
All in this atmosphere
No fear, less tears, only time to catch my breath
I fail to inhale
Your love constricts my chest
Confusion blinded me, mental and physically
And its because of you that now I can see
So now can I run? I follow the son and ride on to zion
And dance this last song of freedom
But only time will tell, if its truly for real
Cant change your mind, all I know this is what I feel
Whether Im wrong or right, please keep my life in sight
And never take you eyes off me
Chorus:
As I look up to the sky today
Well I can see you looking down on me
It brings a smile to my face again
Satellite
Its truly one of a kind, like star shine, beyond night time, are you there

Sing a Song of Sixth Sense Mad Off Course - Murder Goose Rhymes
SING A SONG OF SIXTH SENSE MAD OFF COURSE - MURDER GOOSE RHYMES
Sing sin's song of sixth sense, fink senators debating
unthinkingly of budget cuts, sink U.S. credit rating,
'n lies' between the 'lines' are seen with House and Senate fighting
while unemployed face winter cold, cold feet drag, Jack frost biting.
Four and twenty blackbirds from sky to pie swift falling,
men saw in Arkansas, elsewhere, bare facts scare were appalling,
upon the cusp Aquarian new age shows signs eroding
with governments across the globe progressively imploding.
Inflation's shadow grows apace, as tax cuts cut employment,
while talibans' attacks are answered - pullback redeployment,
nonsense world whirled as unfurled is future fate's implosion,
as blatant contradictions blow - soon G.O.P. explosion
will open evidence afford beyond the Kingdom Denmark
that something rotten's rolling stone - no candyfloss in ballpark -
no moss may gather as the world turns topsy-turvy spinning

Bank Of Bad Habits
The rumors and the stories of my past I cant deny
Im no saint ignatius but again Im no barfly
The wrong thing is the right thing until you lose control
Ive got this bank of bad habits in a corner of my soul
Bank of bad habits
The price of vice fortold
One by one theyll do you in
Theyre bound to take their toll
The wrong thing is the right thing until you lose control
Ive got this bank of bad habits in a corner of my soul
Last night I said goodbye to a dear old friend of mine
Just a throw back shell beach party, nothin really asinine
Rum and cooked animals and bullshit by the ton
That party lasted way too long and I had too much fun
Bank of bad habits
The price of vice fortold
One by one theyll do you in
Theyre bound to take their toll
The wrong thing is the right thing until you lose control
Ive got this bank of bad habits in a corner of my soul
