Quotes about impetus, page 3
I lived on dread; to those who know
I lived on dread; to those who know
The stimulus there is
In danger, other impetus
Is numb and vital-less.
As't were a spur upon the soul,
A fear will urge it where
To go without the spectre's aid
Were challenging despair.

Most people didn't have the bandwidth to download whole albums. And so it brought back this cherry picking idea that the audience would focus on certain songs and possibly be the impetus behind what eventually got on AM radio: the single or whatever.

The crises of our time, it becomes increasingly clear, are the necessary impetus for the revolution now under way. And once we understand nature's transformative powers, we see that it is our powerful ally, not a force to feared our subdued.

The impetus behind going to graduate school was a year after graduating from college spent in Dallas working at the dog food factory and Bank America and not having met success in my chosen field, which at that point was being an actress.

I think what's going on in Guantanamo Bay and other places is a disgrace to the U.S.A. I wouldn't say it's the cause of terrorism, but it has given impetus and excuses to potential terrorists to lash out at our country and justify their despicable acts.

I lived on Dread
770
I lived on Dread—
To Those who know
The Stimulus there is
In Danger—Other impetus
Is numb—and Vitalless—
As 'twere a Spur—upon the Soul—
A Fear will urge it where
To go without the Sceptre's aid
Were Challenging Despair.

How to Quash a Rebellion
Oh crap, I think the populace
Have gone and got some impetus
Let's dumb them down with more TV
They love that television screen
Or just put cocaine on the street
So if they're high, they can't stampede
I tell you what, this will work best:
Let's post another terrorist threat!

60 Year-Old Apple Tree
I am eating from a 60 year-old apple tree,
And my father-in-law is 80 years old;
But it is like the free-will offering to get what i need.
Artistic craftsmanship and the ability to teach,
The dexterity of every skilled person is needed here;
But with the impetus act from every manner of works!
Detail by detail and step by step,
But the days will be long when you do bring me your love.

Aldo
This is the extend to which we are going,
Alongside with love to satisfy your muse;
But a spokesperson is now needed on this issue,
And i have more impetus on this love than ever!
I am Aldo and i know my limits,
But the day after 21st December 2012 will be like the end! !
And my love will lead te way like the time of war;
But, who can stop this muse?
As the fair haired sun rises up in the sky!

A Vampire
The soporific sound of rain
Falling on the shingled rooftops
Induces his subconscious brain
to summon id with every drop.
The instinctual impetus
craves immediate primal need:
vitality that flows through us
tonight the innocent will bleed
to quench within a burning fire
that’s required to tame his soul
forever damned: a vampire!
that roams and stalks celestial
darkest nights for unfortunates
to engorge their blood to excess.
