Natural Disaster

Labourious work ends in a slumber too high,
Maybe it rains and snows until the seas roar
And the lands erupt with energy of nature,
The worker of studies and laws, righteous followers
Ask the nature of resemblances to be worshipped.
This labour of prayer harms the people,
The natural disasters collide with roaring oceans.
Enough of them! We are satisfied by our times,
We have enough to be promised salvation.
Labour is intensive of the elements,
A free energy of maximum dealing, swearing
And learning.

Hope And Banality

Tired of exhibitionism,
nostalgia for an eternal
herd of thoughts -
moves for the real intent
the intensive thirst for unknown.

The lie stamps the vanity on a pseudo book.
Everything turns in a rage,
and pain strips to bone.

Dressed in his gaudy fame,
great idol lifts the arm.
Must I become a part of this motley crowd?

The return is difficult
for the disowned faith.
Great hips, broad shoulders and pointed nose
reach nowhere.

Beneath the disillusion lie the shades

Cruelty on beauty

I won by marriage a woman, a beauty queen.
I own a fear in her beauty, which was fire.
I must have a hold on her from others’ sway.
She must be perpetually kept in motherhood
With her desire to nurse rather than glamour,
And to shed flesh and charm from birth after birth.
Tired of five kids, she refused to have another.
Unsecured still was I, with her charm still tormenting.
Helpless, I saw her go to balls to move with lords.
I live now in exile from her as well as men
With out any regret that, to make her barren
I have gone for an intensive cultivation.

Bad News Confrontation

No sooner had I reached
the western town I go to
than the bad news confronted me
regarding three friends of mine.
One had passed away
and two were in hospital,
one of those in intensive care
and the other recuperating well.
Not the best way to start
what I thought might be
a relaxing fun filled weekend.
I can only hope things
will start to get better.
Tomorrow is a brand new day
and hopefully the gloom I feel
will slowly start to fade away.

IT's THE GOLF BALL OR ME

TIGER TIGER IN THE WOODS

Hit the ball as U should

Ere the Golf Stick skidded

And U in the Woods ended

Tiger Tiger your fame spread far and wide

Many a wallop in joy you with your family cried

Alas your 'misses' your family dread

And many a tear dropp you dead

Japa-yajna

Carrier wave; sine curve; you see it
on the heartscan lifescreen
in the intensive care ward

as if with no regard for you
it’s self-sufficient; sufficient to the self;

the same curve that the flute’s note makes onscreen,
pure as Krishna’s smile; his lips
making breath into sound

hear that, hear that which
runs day and night; repetition
that always never does repeat

and only when you’re still
will you know with Krishna

the sound of inner sacrifice
that never ends and yet

Her Extinction

One eye awoke to a new sight
A reflection of reality
There before me, stood a girl drained
An identity fading into nothing
Those facial colours began to run
They ran scared, frightened of tomorrow
Then it blends mixing into a tiresome grey
Dilated pupils lay motionless cursing
Like fingers pointing the blame
Once those cheeks had bloomed
Bloomed such an intensive pink
A pink that no photo could edit
Unique beauty once lied
A lock of hair once shone
Shone so brightly the sun quivered
Life had rocked features into nothing
Taken away its appeal and replaced dullness
Physically betrayed she now felt
The reflection showed a girl
Fading into extinction

The lust defined

Lust means luxuria, lechery, lasciviousness and sensuality.
Lust means intensive desire for sexual pleasure,
A taboo of the sixth commandments.
Lust is nothing but power, most aphrodisiacal.
Lust is carrying women in thought.
Lust is substituting prostitutes.
Lust is marrying and sustaining a family,
Putting up with children crying,
Overdoing themselves in explanation of lapses,
Looking at women they like to move around,
Buying expensive clothes for themselves,
Gifting valuables to women they have crush on,
Paying attention to woman other than their wives
To make up what was missing
Without knowing what it is.
In a nut shell, lust is in every action.

Peach Grove Next To Abbatoir

Next to an abbatoir
grows a peach grove.
The former has screams.
The latter is silent.
The slaughterhouse
stinks of blood and urine
and solid waste.
The peach grove is fragrant.
The slaughterhouse yields
a maximum 1000 pounds an acre of
food.
The peach grove yields in
trilevel agriculture four hundred
fifty thousand pounds an acre.
The slaughterhouse is labor
intensive and causes many worker
injuries and deaths.
The peach tree requires nothing
but a seed beneath dirt. The sun
and rain and mother earth

God Must Be Crazy

Slowly and slowly
without myself knowing
life in me is fast fading
knocked down by a deadly disease

complete body checks and running scans
in intensive ward under hi-tech care
reversing the God's decided plan
is not so easy for the clinical gang

at dawn, on the doom's day
God rolled in on a wheeled-chair
whispered to me that I am to depart today
despite the fight we put up all these days

pulse ran high and there was an alarm
God wished me to be cool and calm
handed to me His bill for rescue
'not lakhs of rupees, but a sterile heart'
