Quotes about ki-mono, page 3
Obituary to M.Subbalakshmi, singer
By nature or culture,
Man has grown polygamous
And woman, mono-yandrous.
You had been like a dove fluttering
Towards the nest;
You had been like a hen moving about
the yard.
You had soared sky high, legs tucked
In husband’s hold.
Like an angel you walked;
Like a breeze you moved.
You made gods of music;
You made music of gods.
You reared, like a mother, husband’s
children.
You cared, like father, the people of
destitute.
You quit the floor you’d sprung from;

Musical Nostalgia
I walk alone
Alone in the empty back streets in town
They say they had a clown
A displaced man staring with his head bowed down
I am still alone
Feeling the time gone
With my mass of self torn
And a simple touch on my phone
I dwell no more on the phoney calls
The sea tide rises and falls twice a day
I am alone
But not aloof to the ways of life
Because by some means of Grace I make a day
Each day becomes as fresh as forest air
And each rest I have,
I take it with the sounds of music
Not with the noisy pounds of daily life

031510c All I Want Is Other Side
i could break out my fishing reel now
prop myself by bridge's wall and fish
while i watch you, you guys in despair
i could even take out my cooler and chair
this difficulty could be ease with mono rail
but so many hands, minds on the trail
oh! my! what's that ambulance doing here
not this early morning, please oh! my dear
no i'm not counting the fishing boats bobbing
i wonder though what kind of fish they're catching
blue crabs, sea bass, blues, spot, maybe flounder
that's a rough life, awake all night waiting for biter
those seagulls teasing bipeds again or begging
i remember they have to control their population
because of their unsightly droppings on your cars
there must be a group of smart person to figure
without offsetting the environmental coexistance
i'm not too concern, i just want to go to the other side

Across The Flow
Across The Flow
Crosscut boards make a firm structure.
Moving against the flow is a reality found
inside lessons for the lost potential in hope.
That damage is a lack of willingness
to seek the next breath inside the unknown.
All can't be expected to be sugarcane stalks.
A dreamy fallacy for a leaning post
has no foundation nor persistence,
for daily the storm creates our laughter
wriggling inside the turgid stem's gradual
uplift, as the rain is our tears in lament.
Where would the bulb in the earth be
without the pouring rain to awaken its

Yakuza
The barking were the loudness of evils
Extreme noises swarming the pretty dawn
Shy of lights and abide
Notorious philosopher of gangland
Backdated from 17th century kabuki-mono
(Outlandish samurai called the crazy ones)
The infamous family tree
Hatamoto-yakko (servants of Shogun)
Machi-yokko (servants of town)
Tekiya (street peddlers)
Bakuto (gamblers)
Gurentai (hoodlums)
They are the nerves of Yakuza
In arms and deadly
With guts and machine guns
Embroiled with conflicts
And turmoil
In numbers they come
Dungeons and dragons

Earthbound Angel (a monotetra elegy)
'The monotetra consists of any number of stanzas of four lines each. Each stanza contains a monorhyme, so that the pattern of the stanzas would be “aaaa bbbb cccc” and so on… this is where the “mono” in the name of the form comes in. The “tetra” in the name of the form is because each line of each stanza is written in tetrameter... The other aspect of the monotetra is that the fourth line of each stanza is a repeating four-syllable phrase...' http: //forums.mosaicmusings.net/index.php? showtopic=253
Earthbound Angel
(an elegy for a lovely poet and friend)
An earthbound Angel's taken flight
her home's among the stars so bright
To hear her Siren song by night.
Look to the light, look to the light.
No longer will our Siren sing.
An earthbound Angel's taken wing
and in her flight did sadness bring
a painful sting, a painful sting.
In memory; her voice so frail
sings to the wind, a lovely tale.
An earthbound Angel's taken sail
on heaven's gale, on heaven's gale.

Its Croaking Shows Its Presence! !
The croaking echoes through the neighborhood,
the blasting croaking echoes as braying,
sometimes as barking, another time as whistling,
the sounds of croaking may crack our heads,
in the tropical region where it rains,
every other day and musical begins,
with the mono syllabic cricket,
house lizards join them occasionally,
The frogs repeats one day and one night,
as the Native American folklore says,
brother sun agreed and the bear hibernated,
the frogs repeat one day and one night,
it may not be alive the next day,
unnecessary croaking,
is being heard by something,
that slithers and hungry,
its croaking showed its presence,
right to the mouth of that reptile.
In the middle of the meetings,
some of us croak to show our presence,

Shades Of Africa
Across the sea in paradise amist,
sailing beauty on winds of smile,
Lax to the reason of unadorn yesterday;
today the mountains kisses the sky wedding the shades of africa.
Animals running awild,
Trees outstretch awaiting the direction of the sun in freedom to provide thier purpose, nature,
has they bow in welcoming hospitality to visitors and families alike!
Never so beautifull, the freshness is tasted sweetly in the air!
with the black remembering rain saturating the bedding planes to unfold green deluxe grasses, giving off there palatable fragrance.
Moments knows no dull over looking serenity; delighted by shades of africa in cirrus clouds hanging magestically in the sky so to create the perfect picture and a sight for sore eyes! HAS
the life of its inhertiares overrides paramount on wheels of nobleness, sponge together in unity; They are too
joined amazingly and living together there face all look's alike and discribe alike, Beautifull they all are!
Shades of africa is heavenly, with blue green rivers, crystal stones, and peeping glaze, golden fishes imposing on everlastingness as undistured freedom whelms ther tame.
majical lights in everything around to reflect a love that shines!
crisp measure to the day extenting longevitty as the debry is unlaid by any runes,
The chrip of birds to console the music of angels availing the praise of pentecost, HEAVEN ON EARTH, is the song!
Allure commentry with thoughts exhaust from newness as the shade of africa unvail colors of the rainbow,
adopted outdoor deniming that enlights fading red, outstandingly equating the eyes from mixtures that the GODS detail,
has drifting clouds mono-colored from the north hanging under a ribbon like pale blue sky with a fluff from natures revolutionary tranformation covering the true shape of the mountains,
but so desolving to its first stage; as the bold but yet discreet sun arised in reconition to the breaking of a new day;

The River! The River!
Young woman in old clothes,
looking far past her age,
sits nervously prattling to herself -
at a square presed-wood table,
imbrued by dark ink,
engraved in chicken scratch
obscene, tho', barely legible,
within the wood-grooved
whose splinters obscure -
a clean, clear view.
Then, of course there were,
the hand-happy wood slammers
purging their confetti
of manic emotions
within the un-holy confinds
of a stenched, human bandbox,
quite mundungus and fullsome, in kind.
She has witnessed insideous horror,
