Quotes about lobster, page 3
Oceanic Humour
Oceanic Humour?
Does a sardine play
Hide and seek with another fish
And laugh about it?
Does a lobster joust
With a big Alaska crab
Just for amusement?
Wit on the sea’s floor
Giggling eels on Dogger bank
Slippery gayety?
Can a tiger shark
Tell another shark a story
That has a fun bite?
Are ocean’s beings
As stern as the old Talibans

Reflecting The Praises
And you explore me-
to the limits of enchantment.
As I was-
dying in a nonfiction.
Half brothers-
were moving like pincers
to catch a pen
like a little solidier.
Sad little god was telling
I do,
I am moving in non-existent darkness
for a sundial.
A lobster-
was trying to climb on
an ancient throne.
He wanted to become a neoking.
And throw his weight for the kittens

A Naked Snake
Tree wound
Earth ground
Hissing and biting
Its own tongue
Its own tail
Changing its skin
Sky flung
House burdened snail
In the traces of the wet curse left
Wrapped in red lace lobster cleft
Creeping the bottom of the original fall
Poisonous curves wound within all
A bit of poison turns into a bit of the cure
Wound within a knot of circles of the sin
Reaching high above the realms of the pure
Curable disease of its own medicine
Bitter taste poisoned blood shivering in mud

Idolatory
I say to myself, why did not you learn
the ways of life?
The chariot blew up in your face.
Blueberry, blueberry –
they bloom in dark.
How difficult it was to stay normal
human being and speak your lines
carefully.
I will pull my hearse one day
unspoken, unseen.
This mirror has no more trappings.
It is reverted into original glare.
Hang your boots, it says.
I say I am a lobster
in a water tank,
listening to waves;

The Heart of the Matter Is the Heart (Poverty)
My three bed two bath mansion, Cal's old cardboard box
The heart of the matter is the heart
My steak and lobster bisque, Cal's lunch meat sandwich stuff
The heart of the matter is the heart
My wool suits and shiny ties, Cal's best thrift store threads
The heart of the matter is the heart
My nice convertible coupe, Cal's broken and rusted bike
The heart of the matter is the heart
So many with so little, So many with so much
The heart of the matter is MY heart

041810b Happy To Be Home
she's all smiles claiming nature's love
that let her wander aimlessly to the wild
she never expected she ever get astray
surviving the night and throughout the day
sloshing sound she doesn't know where
it is coming from give her scare whole night
she is so happy to see her friend quenny
she gave her a toy frog name gretchen
and silly rubber band the form of a lobster
her sister she claimed 'all she does is cry'
i am very sure you won't be wondering why
the next time she said she would be with adult

Dinner Guest: Me
I know I am
The Negro Problem
Being wined and dined,
Answering the usual questions
That come to white mind
Which seeks demurely
To Probe in polite way
The why and wherewithal
Of darkness U.S.A.--
Wondering how things got this way
In current democratic night,
Murmuring gently
Over fraises du bois,
"I'm so ashamed of being white."
The lobster is delicious,
The wine divine,
And center of attention
At the damask table, mine.
To be a Problem on

Lobster
A shoe with legs,
a stone dropped from heaven,
he does his mournful work alone,
he is the old prospector for golf,
with secret dreams of God-heads and fish heads.
Until suddenly a cradle fastens round him
and his is trapped as the U.S.A. sleeps.
Somewhere far off a woman lights a cigarette;
somewhere far off a car goes over a bridge;
somewhere far off a bank is held up.
This is the world the lobster knows not of.
He is the old hunting dog of the sea
who in the morning will rise from it
and be undrowned
and they will take his perfect green body
and paint it red.

Shedd's Aquarium
To the aquarium just for the day
Down to Chicago, we’re on our way
To Shedd’s Aquarium and the lake shore
But first a wait of 40 minute’s or more
Once inside, we can see the ocean floor
With fishes, crab’s and shark’s galore
An octopus, the brightest color of red
Some dolphins, belugas and hammerheads
We touched starfish, in water sooo cold!
It was fun for all, the young and the old
A lobster that could feed a family of four
A snapping turtle so big, it couldn’t fit through a door
All of this we saw, all in one day
Then back in the car, to be on our way

Red Lobster Tonight
Shrimp on the Kosher Bar-b-que
The thought of kosher water went out the door,
When a Rabbi from New York said 'No More'.
Apparently that one shrimp, a small shrimp,
a shrimp could possibly be
was in the water?
After the water was treated at the water facility.
It was uproar that swelled upon the CHASSIDIC community,
For if they drank from water that shrimp touched
they've violated
The Rules of the Torah,
Oy Vay!
They must atone forever and a day.
But need not fret For the Lord has given mankind,
All that is dear,
For example, the endless shrimp at Red Lobster.
