I Believe
It's a happy song that my heart sings
It seems that I have magical new wings
To fly away and touch greater new heights
It seems struggles are over left behind all fights
Once again my beliefs reaffirmed reinstated
No matter how much I protested against it debated
There's one power above us who knows it all
Forgives all our shortcomings and is there when we call
But this call needs to be deep rooted and pure
If you ask with faith there are answers for sure
When you think all the doors are closed for you
Don't worry close your eyes take a deep breath or two
The answer is in the colours in front of your eyes
Sometimes we may miss it due to stress confusion or lies
Put aside all your fears, jealousy and hate
There's enough for everyone understand this mate
For different people aspire for different things
He makes sure that each heart has a beautiful tune to sing
So he gives the tune but you make your own song
Just listen to your heart you will never go wrong

Lesson Learnt
Lesson learnt
What is it that's worrying me so much
An insecurity suffocating me as such
Why is it that i cant share it with anyone
is it real or just a phantom on run
I may pretend to be strong and mature
Deep inside me is a child scared and unsure
Looking for acceptance not rejection
Wearing a mask of confidence a deception
Its love and approval that i desire
Which i have aplenty but for more i sigh
Its the only pray i never forget each day
Lord let love flow in abundance my way
Let praise rain and appreciations shower
Let approvals of my doings be as Huge as a tower
But today when my chance came to approve
To acknowledge Someones work i just disapproved
Burning with jealousy i just turned away
Pretended its not worth it i just walked away
My Soul my being knew i was doing wrong

The Debate
As I look around me I stand thinking in a crowd
My head held high deep inside I feel proud
My heart feels sure but my brain debates
You have been short changed cheated of rebates
It tries to tell me you deserve something more
But my heart knows better and so does my core
This brain just argues tries to show me the dark side
Of people cheating, taking me for a ride
Telling me of the laurels which I should have won
Those events those moments without me should be undone
It tickles my ego probing it to raise it's monstrous head
To take away my sanity raising distrust from dead
But this heart of mine refuses to even budge
It believes in humanity wrong path it won't trudge
My heart says only sunshine surrounds
There's only love in the heart of people around
It tells me and I believe I am the blessed one here
If one door gets closed there are many everywhere
Waiting to open at the right time
For he loves his children and for them his loves shine

A Maori Girl's Song
"Alas, and well-a-day! they are talking of me still:
By the tingling of my nostril, I fear they are talking ill;
Poor hapless I -- poor little I -- so many mouths to fill --
And all for this strange feeling -- O, this sad, sweet pain!
"O! senseless heart -- O simple! to yearn so, and to pine
For one so far above me, confest o'er all to shine,
For one a hundred dote upon, who never can be mine!
O, 'tis a foolish feeling -- all this fond, sweet pain!
"When I was quite a child -- not so many moons ago --
A happy little maiden -- O, then it was not so;
Like a sunny-dancing wavelet then I sparkled to and fro;
And I never had this feeling -- O, this sad, sweet pain!
"I think it must be owing to the idle life I lead
In the dreamy house for ever that this new bosom-weed
Has sprouted up and spread its shoots till it troubles me indeed
With a restless, weary feeling -- such a sad, sweet pain!

This Is Not A Confessionam Poem
This is not a confessional poem
I confess that I have written this
Not a romantic poem
Under the watch of the archangel of Blake’s vision
A l=a=n=g=u=a=g=e= p=o=e=m=
A loaf Of poem a gallon Of words a pint Of letters
A so-so go for broke poem
So so son and so said
An acrostic poem
None near Aim to be called
Mindfully toward the Eternity of the thing
An epitaph poem
He lays David E. Patton
Never one to believe in heaven
So when he dies he did spy
A free verse poem
A sonnet poem
A know it all poem for the masses
This is not a minute poem

Stupid, Stupid World Full Of Lies
Stupid, stupid world full of lies, self-deceit, greed,
conspiratorial stinging nettles, leeching bills, vampiric,
cutting off the flow of things like tiger-mussels,
hillbilly hippies beating up their girlfriends on crack,
all these egotistic puff ball mushrooms with labial gills
mythically inflated by one night's good rain
into albino planets, people who have more keys to heaven
than they have locks on hell, abandoned school bells
that go on talking to themselves like wandering scholars
light years after the children grew old at their perennial recess
and the moths and the mice and the mildew
keep putting out books epilogues after everyone's
forgotten how to read the signs of their own decay.
Between the horns of the moon that's been thrown
like a goat skull into the wishing well of my heart,
roadie spiders string my harp for me like false eyelashes
in the green room, and the nerves of the mirrors
are shattered into the frayed deltas of the ropes of hope
endangered elephants are trying to climb up to heaven on.

If bodies of their own heal
I
Two scores of ripe years ere, remember I,
At shower, shaving mirror, shaping hair,
Bending elbow when turns annoying nigh,
I wonder when, how my hurt hushed in there
Unknown to me, as seasons oft set in
Early or late, till one day forced are we
To tune into the change though not keen;
More than the dull pain, hurt irritates me.
The medic I consult, cool as was I,
But more sure, call it a tennis elbow,
Me in protest, not having played the game,
Laugh it off a little respectfully,
The doc unmoved as e'er, letting me know:
Oh, just the same, it is no more than name.

Elefante
Blu, l'impero blu
E' come scura e gonfia la mia satira
Uh, l'impero blu
