‘My sister – Life’s overflowing today’
My sister – Life’s overflowing today,
spring rain shattering itself like glass,
but people with monocles still complain,
and sting, politely, like snakes in the grass.
The elders have their logic of course,
certainly yours is foolish, no doubt:
that eyes and lawns glow lilac in storms,
and sweet perfume blows from the south.
That in May, when traveling you see
the timetable on the Kamyshin line,
the Bible’s penned no less magnificently,
while in reading it you’re mesmerised.
That sunset has only to show a village,
girls crowding the track as we flee,
and I find that it’s not my stop today,
the sun offering its sympathy.

Greater Force
I don’t know what to believe for each people has a good book of its own.
But I do believe there’s a greater power than anyone has ever known.
Marvels from the atom to the universe manifest incredible design
For lack of a better word they’re attributed to an entity called divine.
Being but human we name it many things like Allah, Buddha or God,
But to me it’s just an unknown force which in the instant of a nod
Can create a human body still little understood by mankind
Or paint a magnificent sunset no mortal could have ever designed.
This force has no timetable since past, present and future are one.
Best I use my few seconds wisely before my brief journey is done.
I do believe one thing for sure… I will be judged for doing what I could,
Because there is intrinsic right and wrong just as there is bad and good.
This force, this power is all around me; it manifests eternal love.
With this goodness my life will be as brilliant as any of the stars above.

Another Big Bang
Another Big Bang
Ode to Big Man
This is to “You” who calls himself human
gave yourself dominion over all things live
even over half part your so called woman
for where equality is devoid strives strive
but if your big bang had wrought you being
what ageless wheel spun the vortex of time
if has no prior essence of a supreme being?
Another Big Bang
Ode to Big human
If a “hu” is added in a matrix to equate man
then let that “hu” be as the unknown factor
in the mysterious simultaneous equation fan
than blows the blades of your timetable vector
that tells the sun to rise daily from the east
but if every design has a creator as you can
what then is the line between man and beast?

Connoisseur Phony
The raging timetable demands
his clockwork lungs to edges
and like the sun he rises maladroitly
only to lay back on his bassinet
relentlessly unbeknownst
Amidst the surfeit of innuendos
the mad shuffling provokes
and corrupts his innocuous eyes
Now he sees everything upside down
in a vertiginous kaleidoscope
where colors lost its quintessence
Hands swaying like dissonant pendulums,
heavy nimbuses upon his eyes
the torrent storm rams inside
Larcenous feet gliding downhill,
sutured chest unweaving every wink,
and like the path he dares to tread
his tongue is forked into two

Freedom Fighter!
What is the use of having too much freedom,
When one fourth of you can't survive without a job,
After fourteen days in the western countries?
Liberty of having shelter, food and essentials are at stake,
One has no job and qualified to be cared and fed,
You are left to do whatever you like,
But your dialysis patients are faster to rest,
One dollar medicines are sold in many money fold,
Health care system is a scam and swindle.
You are rich, but indebted to every money lender,
How can you sleep peacefully with so many doubts,
You have sacrificed so much to get this freedom,
Sacrificed your freedom itself as you are given a timetable,
When mortgages, money and worldly things so crucial,
You have sacrificed many of your obligations essential.
Your children are still young at eighteen, but chased out,
In the name of freedom you showed them the path to hell,

The Written Word Rules!
At the idea of poetry, some people seem to scoff,
As they consider it is an art form only for toffs.
They may think that the concept of poetry is boring,
And that it will leave them fast asleep and snoring.
There are all types of poems: modern and classical.
There’s something for everyone: it’s not boring at all.
The lyrics of songs are poems as such;
They often rhyme together very much.
People like to sing along with their favourite songs,
So why does the concept of poetry feel so wrong?
I’ve only started writing poetry in the last few weeks,
And, I have to admit that I thought it was just for geeks.
But, now I can see, that whoever you are,
Everyone has the potential to go really far.
I have to admit, I much prefer
The written, to the spoken word.
At night, I lay awake tossing and turning in bed,
With random thoughts running through my head.
By my pillow, I keep a pen and note pad,

A Stitch In Time
I work in dark factories --- a cog in the big wheel
Driving grey satanic mills and weaving sad stories.
And faceless masters --- oh, they pay me plenty ---
Crumbs from their luncheon packs, harsh wine from
Bottles halk empty.
A stitch in time saves nine.
Said cock robin from the wall.
Its an early bird catches the worm.
Show a little pride before you fall.
So I flew to the south sun with birds of a feather
To drink in the warm nights and tell of fine weather.
A stitch in time saves nine.
Listen all you young folk --- your lives on a timetable
Clocking on twenty-one --- fly while youre able.
A stitch in time saves nine.
