Prayer of a prisoner in a extermination camp

Maybe I will never see you, Jerusalem,
still I yearn to walk in your streets,
at times I have hope,
at other times my heart tightens,

when I see every face, hear every voice
of them that have got to die and I am forced
to strip my own people from all dignity
to help destroy them, to breath in their fear of death.

In how many extermination camps their are people like me,
who lead their own people to the valley of death,
who themselves yearn for their own certain destruction
have to undress corpses
trying to stay alive crying, vomiting,
are praying to You, are waiting day upon day for salvation?

Learning from the honey bee

Look at the bees
And learn something

They yearn for others
as busy bees

Together in swarms they fly along
To find gardens together they throng

From flower to flower
From nectar to nectar

Serving their queen bee with compassion
Caring for their young ones in devotion

They toil and toil
From flower to seed

To gather honey honey so sweet
Just to serve just to yearn

Tease me with a sight
A sight so sweet, so blissful
It doesn't matter if I yearn, because I know right,
That the torment it will cause, it could be nothing but painful

I have come to accept this fate,
The fate so painfully apparent
To this end, I could not debate
For this torment was so clearly inherent

what are we fighting for
peace is not real
we are always at war
because nobody will yeild
a war on terrorism
a war on drugs
a war on orientaion
and a war on crime
degredattion will not yeild
even with communication
theres no such thing as peace
dont let them lie to you
peace of mind
peace of heart
nomatter who you are
we will never know peace

Should You Yearn, I Yearn Too!

The ocean wants for the shore-the shore, its destination;
Flowers want for the Sun and rain, which aid in their formation;
Birds want for the sky-the sky, home to their freedom, complete;
I want for thee, with nary a thought of my heart's retreat!

The long, dark night, longs for the bright dawn of a new day;
Winter-weary fauna long for the rebirth of Spring's sway;
The human soul longs for its mate-its solitary compeer-
Every night lacking mine, I long for thee to be ever more near!

Blurred now have been the lines betwixt your's and mine-

How yearn I for a potioned wine – this night!
How race and run the drops of blood
How race the red, red drops of blood – this night!

How from the face of heaven the clouds
Seem swept away by some full-scathing broom
How smiling the pale moon!

Ah! methinks that the moon, the modest moon
Has in itself somehow sometime infused
The red, red drops of Bacchus – lo in it

Love With Peace And Justice

It's a troubled World we live in the World of today
But love with peace and justice only decades away
In fifty years or less from now there won't be mistrust and hate
The war lords and the men of war will have passed their use by date.

Those who love peace and justice are beginning to unite
And for the men who worship war their loss of power in sight
Soon war jets will not fly the sky under the cloak of night
And those who promote harmony will be the men of might.

The yearn for peace is spreading getting stronger by the day
And those who are divisive will not have a part to play
In the World of the future the racist and the cruel
Will not have any power at all only the just will rule.

The children who are born today will surely live to see
A World of peace and harmony and of war and hatred free
For the yearn for peace is spreading and with each passing day it grow
And war will be unheard of in forty years or so.
