Just Laugh And Fall In Love

If today weren’t bright and sunny
would the sky be blue?
If my life was not so funny
would it still be true?
Truth’s the best way to have fun;
if you live a lie,
days will fade away like sun
with a cloudy sky.

Yet when there’s a sunless day
there’s still room and a half
to see the funny side, and say,
“I want to make you laugh,
not cry, although the skies above
are grey, and I feel blue.”
Don’t lie, just laugh and fall in love,
and to yourself be true.

Inspired by something Carrie Fisher says in her book “Wishful Drinking” which Charles McGrath reviewed in the NYT on January 2,2008:
She won’t let you feel sorry for her, which is greatly to her credit in this age of needy, tell-all celebrity memoirs, but neither can she relax or stop joking. She writes: “If my life wasn’t funny it would just be true, and that is unacceptable.” But her book is sometimes like a smile so forced it must hurt.

Half Mast Flags

What was,
Maybe the 'is' we celebrate.

But the 'now' we live,
Deserves much more attention...
Then we give it!

To decide that a time that leaves...
And greatly taken for granted,
In a quick reflected assessment.
Has less than an impact than it does.
Is a neglect.

Although in ceremonies we respect,
There is a praising of ourselves.
With impressive feelings aroused.
And conducted in a pomp...
We circumspect in a masking of opulence.

And consciously under appreciated,

My son, your mother left you and me alone......

My son, your mother left you and me alone
and she had flown to the heaven by leaving us in hell
Has she forgotten our love for her?
Her smiling picture on the wall brings me nonstop tears
There is no light or brightness in our house now
Her care for us brought beautiful life and loving nights
But now she left with us miserable life and torturing nights
I am sure she is watching us from the heaven helplessly
My son, your mother have tried to fight with death
and she want to keep us alive with her love and courage
but the heaven gates were opened for her and she felt helpless
I remember the day you were born son
Your mother held you in her arm as a precious gift from God
We had lots of plan for you and you were growing up greatly
Now you are only five years old and she left you and me
My son, as long as I live in this world
I will take care of you and give you fatherly and motherly love
and make her soul happy by up-bringing you as a great man.

Never Die As Miser

You should never die as miser
Then you will be completely looser
You owe so much to the public domain
They have right to know and that should be concern

If you have something of great importance
That must come out at once
There is no use for hidden treasure
In depth, at which it is kept, and can't be treasured

Hide nothing in mind
Let people venture and find
What you think and what you are
Your life should not be kept at far

Even if you are an ordinary man
Or in that matter a simple woman
Your thoughts may greatly influence
To those who are awaiting chance

Winter at St Andrews

The city once again doth wear
Her wonted dress of winter's bride,
Her mantle woven of misty air,
With saffron sunlight faintly dyed.
She sits above the seething tide,
Of all her summer robes forlorn -
And dead is all her summer pride -
The leaves are off Queen Mary's Thorn.

All round, the landscape stretches bare,
The bleak fields lying far and wide,
Monotonous, with here and there
A lone tree on a lone hillside.
No more the land is glorified
With golden gleams of ripening corn,
Scarce is a cheerful hue descried -
The leaves are off Queen Mary's Thorn.

For me, I do not greatly care
Though leaves be dead, and mists abide.

Heated Waters

Entertainment provided greatly you contributed
I positioned unadorned and uninhibited
Bronze tone exposed to the world I was standing
Extended arms to help me in you were handing

Lunar sky illuminated the night
Stars heaven bound shines bright
Into comforting waters now I entered in
Waters heated massages my bare shin

Peach shin textured smooth to the touch
Moments pleasurable and enjoyable so much
Gentle massaging of tan brown feet
Romping in the night frolicking in the heat

Kneading hands purpose for relaxation
Each touch anticipation leads to a new expectation
Every single touch meant so much to me
A lifetime I could have spent with thee

What a wonderful world of nature...

When the early morning is born with heavenly blessed
When the bright sun rays shower through the misty clouds
When the birds choir being to chirp their songs on the trees
then the day being with a wonderful of nature.
I can feel the Mother Nature touches me with her love
I can feel the nature illuminates my heart and brighten my soul
I can see the green grass in summer-spread lovely
I can see the flowers in the spring bloomed lavishly
I can see the leaves falls in the autumn covered earth greatly
I can see the trees full of snow in the winter sprinkled
I can see the stream water gurgles from the mountain
I can see the fauna in the jungles freely set to live happily
I can see the barren lands wet and fertile
Not only they are beautiful in nature
but they serve a purpose for us
Not only they are beauty as forest
but they serve food and water for us
Always, praise the God and thank HIM for HIS beautiful creation
What a wonderful world of nature that you and me live.

This old man

I met a homeless old man,
the other day in Washington, Dc
at Union Station
His counternance was very grim
He had the look of devastation
He begin screaming and crying while
Shouting, what happened to our nation?
He continue to say, so many of the jobs
as well as people's homes are gone
We really need a revealation
As others watched and bowed their heads,
while some even turned up their noses, and
others hid there faces
He continued to shout also asked other questions
Which one of you would take our losses,
better yet trade circumstances by
standing in our places?
He ended, by stating that something is greatly wrong and
the matters seems to be the results of,
Simply poor communication

The Omnipotent and Good God

If you are exhausted, abandoned and sad,
Feels blue, worthless and mad,
Surrender and open your heart to God
Unto you, He will pour His mercy and unfailing love.

If dreams shattered and totally disappeared,
Seems that you are a loser and perfectly failed,
To God, you must keep your hope and faith,
According to His will, He will make you great.

If you suffering unbearable agony,
That your life is loaded of anguish and misery,
Lay your burdens to Jesus upon His way,
Your yoke, He take and renew your strenght everyday.

If you lose your love ones,
A brother, a sister, a wife or a husband,
Dearest friend, don't whimper and whine,
Seek God's comfort, and He will make you fine.

A New Year Thought

Brother, who on some near morrow
Makes a pledge conceived in sorrow
Makes a New Year resolution
Seeking plenary ablution.
Makes a vow to cease from sinning
With this New Year's beginning
Here's a thought to give you gladness,
Here's relief from old year sadness.

Brother, you and I are men.
We have sinned; and yet again
Shall we sin. An old year's dying
Still shall find us ever trying.
Yet here is a thought worth knowing,
While our wild oats we are sowing,
Sowing where we may not reap
Here's a thought to have and keep.

Why waste effort in our sinning,
For no goodlier grace we're winning?
