We Dance Under a 'Light' Fantastic
We dance under a 'light' fantastic.
It beams with a glow that shines!
Our hearts are uplifted...
Above struggles that have shifted,
And lost their grasp.
Retreating and fast!
In joy we dance...
With this 'light' fantastic.
Freed from all disagreement at last!
The hour of despair we held has passed!

Such ness of Life
Can you make
The wind
Change its course?
Can you grasp
Morning rays
Of the Sun
In your hand?
Can you stop
The time from
Moving?
Where from
Comes
This need
To control and hold?
Accept and
Make the best

Hands
One hand enough to caress, but it needs two hands to clasp
One hand enough to grasp, but it needs two hands to pull it up
One hand enough to make agreement, but it needs two hands to clap
One hand enough to create, but it needs two hands to balance
One hand enough to reject, but it needs two hands to protect

Don Not Be Confused
it is not the body
that we laundry
it is not the body
but the soul
that we purify
it is not the body
that you can
prepare like washed
dishes for your
next dinner
it is not the print
on the paper
but the thought
it is the dream and
not the sleep
it is the grasp of the
the divine
not the hold of something
bovine.

What We Understand Fully
it is a matter of
experience, and common knowledge so
to speak, that
for those we do not understand fully
we say, - oh great!
and for those we half understand we say
- something is wrong
and for those we fully understand, perhaps,
because they are too obvious and
easy to grasp, we proclaim,
boring!

So Much Happens
SO MUCH HAPPENS
So much happens
And so much is forgotten-
Our little lives go by
As if they did not exist.
We hold on to remnants merely-
Our presents' too being only small fractions
Of what we live and are-
It will all go away-
But how sad it is that even when we are here
We cannot really know and grasp it.

Writer's Block
Uninspired
Lacking feeling
Devoid of emotion
Writer's Block
Nothing sparking desire
Nothing interesting
I need something new
Tired of words about love
Tired of words about life
Reaching for something
That always escapes my grasp
I need something to make me happy
To destroy my Writer's Block
For now I remain uninspired

I Loved You...And You Lied
It simply grieves my heart
To even say goodbye
For every single part
Of me just wants to die
And time has all but ceased
My feelings are all numbed
The pain greatly increased
To this heartbreak I succumb
There seems a lost tomorrow
For our dear Love has died
No, You cannot grasp my sorrow
I loved you... and you lied.

Obstacles And Opportunities
On our journey through our lives,
we come across bumps in the road.
Some are obstacles,
which we must fight against,
while others are opportunities
in which we must firmly grasp.
Some may be small,
and some may be large.
No matter what the size may be,
we have to recognise just what they are,
and act appropriately.

Weightless
Floored by a rocket's phenomenal thrust,
fueled by unquenchable space wanderlust,
hydrogen, oxygen liquid combust,
aloft, horizontally fire.
Tangentially aimed, yet Earth's grasp is enthralling,
her curving withdrawal allows for free falling
and inside the capsule, so gracelessly sprawling,
are voyagers of weightless desire.
