Christmas Time In Half Rhyme

If christmas is for loving,
And New Year for rebirth,
Then how come every christmas time,
My heart is an open hearth,
At New Years time until Easter,
I fear the pointless ways,
But at christmas time,
I wish for passion in advent ever to remain,
So hear me out this christmas,
Let yule time last for 'er,
And i will know within my heart,
That you above have been here.

The Victory

2

Over a pier, the first beacon inflamed --
The vanguard of other sea-rangers;
The mariner cried and bared his head;
He sailed with death beside and ahead
In seas, packed with furious dangers.

3

By our doors Great Victory stays ...
But how we'll glory her advent?
Let women lift higher the children! They blessed
With life mid a thousand thousands deaths --
Thus will be the dearest answered.

Weaves

Rose blooms were fading like flames;
in my serene garden, and your advent
quiet downpouring was, flow in veins.

Unspoken wraith I was on distant sky;
(quiet downpouring - rain flow godsent) ,
nicely on fields the pure drops fell spry;

Your raindrops I transformed to song,
sweet melodic play, while the leaves,
accepted this entreaty I strung along,
in my blooming solitude's fate weaves.

Just a Dream

The entire world was silenced
And from the darkness emerged, Truth;
Lost since the paradise garden
Abandoned for cupidity;
And out of Truth the advent poet
Appeared with imaginative
Zeal and clarity of purpose:
To rhythmically shape our hearts
And minds with eternal verses
Instilled with His intuitive
Enlightenment from the cosmos
Taking the form of a poem.
Although pleasant it may have seemed
In reality, just a dream.

November

November month of fog and mists.
The early mornings have a bite
the silver grass by Jack Frost kissed
in the dark hours of the night.
The sun reluctant slow to rise
His winter rays no longer warm
that frost persists is no surprise.
This is the calm before the storm.
Winter advances openly
no power can withstand its might
What has to be will come to be
A winter world of black and white.
Though advent justifies a feast
the winter cares not in the least.

Exploited Genius

Once upon a time ago
Lived a man named Vincent Van Gogh.
His style of painting vexed a few
With importunities anew:
His long broad strokes and use of light
Bright yellows, mauve were his delight
Blues and oranges caught the eye
Contrasting when placed side by side
For all the beauty he expressed
It left him poor and dispossessed.
Life seems to fault the advent man
It’s been that way since time began.
Deceased his work has now become
Treasures in Louvre museum.

Burning Candle

Pituitary reeks of wrinkles
whose advent adverse
as a bad breeze
blows at your bare brilliance.

Adrenaline billows hands
around your virile yellow,
bright in the teeth of bad breeze
as a grain animate in humus.

Till wrinkles wrap hands
in shrouds of flabby folds,
bare your fragile flame
to bad breezes brutal breath

And out your yellow flame will go
in time with breeze's harsh triumph
for burning candles melt their wax
as scribbling ballpoints sap their ink.

Entrances and Exits

Love entered quietly
Remarkable in its simplicity
Yet unmarked.
Unremarked, stealthily.
The event had no advent.
Uneventful.
Eventually it was noticed.
The start of an adventure,
That which had gone unnoticed.
Full of its self,
Self fulfilled,
Came to the fore.
Forward centre stage,
It staged its own event.
A play.
Play on words,
Put a word in.
The last word.
Sad word,
Password,

Sleep, Tender Heart

sleep, tender heart
sleep like a fairy between petals;
sleep like a koala
safe and sound
concealed amongst leaves

sleep, gentle mind
like the innocent newborn
without a thought or care;
sleep like the moon
that crawls to its quiet
on the advent of the sun

sleep like the waves
that crawl to a lagoon
and still themselves for peace and rest

sleep, O gentle souls
and all you beautiful beings
sleep like the pervading stillness
