Tears, How Can I Refuse Your Tears?
as i was about to turn my back
from you
there was this silence that
never speaks
this void that keeps a
hurting space
you let out a cry
your mouth does not lie
your tongue keeps
the parting words
and the room had become as
lonely as ever
lovers parting
saying the last goodbye
after all those years
of sweet bonding
and then i unpacked my bag

Neutered Boots
Neutered Boots,
Looked at me as if I knew...
The agony of losing,
Jewels once cherished.
Like a bonding of a maleness,
Had been sliced and diced.
And I was petting him gently...
Just trying to be nice.
But Boots had never been kneed,
In the groin.
Or have an affection wished dismissed,
By someone close Boots had lived with.
Boots is a kitten!
He'll get over it.
However...
Not too many other cats,
Will come to appreciate...
Where Boots is at.

Cocktails with Tashi
Cocktails with Tashi
A ritual Marcia started
for she never drinks alone
she has cocktails with Tashi
in her Palm Beach condo home
Marcia drinks a semi sweet French wine
Tashi has her cocktail of broken bar of unsalted rice
Everything is very fine around five five thirty dinner time
Tashi won’t eat dinner until her cocktail is gone
By then Marcia’s toes are lit and she’s singing a happy song
“Cocktails with Tashi is the song she sings
Marcia has this ritual with Tashi, it’s a wonderful bonding thing

Excitement At Being
this is what I saw as I slept and dreamed:
minds fused soul to soul, together at last a
shining light without physical counterpart,
unity in magnetic bonding negative to positive,
a continuous stream of electrical energy
new-born passion, divine ecstasy enduring
through many universes joined inseparably,
wonderful company, spiritual delight burning
like fire charging this life with feelings of
glory, excitement at being alive - triumph
over non-being, awareness never to be
extinguished, only more refined…

Hackneyed
if you go deep, shall they go with you?
go deeper, take those who love you,
what if they do not have your gills
and they cannot breathe
with you like a fish?
it is still a family, mom and dad and kids
at the shallow pool, where baby is wading
soft sunlight, strong rocks of bed-floors
green moss beside, ducks walking on the banks,
seagulls on top, clouds drifting in the skies
ah, being hackneyed, or trite,
it is nothing
never shocking
copycatting, ah,
these too have their own noble purpose
for a happier bonding, less the ruse.

Bleeding the final call
why Do i feel we're miles apart though we're still connected...
why is there a complete silence...
why wouldn't words come out..
why is there a barrier and boundaries been laid between us lately which was never there...
where is the love we once shared,
where is the promises we once made,
where is the bonding...
which seemed unbreakable...
unshakable by the fickleness and stumbling block around us
do we have to live like this,

Mere Cells
blood runs
never asking
why it is squeezed
through tunnels
wedged between
blocks of cells
to give life
or does it?
the air flows
up and down
down and up
circling the earth
enabling rain
giving life
fueling man and plants
never asking
why such the herculean task
with its lightness?
or does it?
a current flows

bloodline ***** MOTHER'S DAY TANDEM
Whether spinning backward
circling steadily on time
moving rapidly into the future
still there is no other
most sentimental and
sensational tandem
of human life long relationship
than mother-son bonding
and this awesome epistle
share on this mother's day attachment
continuity
through emotional verses
though written in different stroke and form
unlike ordinary letter
from another tounge
another shadow
from darkest moment
and unstinting sunshine of courage
still this epistle manifests

Soldier's Memories
Fresh from high school, new to basic
intense training, formed my buddies
from all over, different worlds
one goal, serve their country
enter war zone, arrived shock
Bullets flying, bombs exploding
minds wandering, buddies bonding
scenes beautiful, children playing
Scouting area, danger ahead
exploding IED, metal twisting
metal flying, Buddies screaming
fire burning, buddies bleeding
piercing pain, saving others
dying moans, can't be saved
blood flowing, bones bearing
injuries severe, may die
buddies dying, iam surviving
rescued, healing, will recover
buddies gone but not forgotten! !
