Quotes about hose, page 4
Lawn Mower
Giant...earthbound
Metal bumblebee
Gorging on green grass
And on an occasional
Green water hose!

Skillful Artisan
Uplifted,
Under your direction,
With your remedy;
Nose, lose, prose, pose, chose, hose!
Skillful artisan,
Eloquent orator,
Upon all the beautiful vessels of love;
And, into the cliffs of the rocks.

Some Spooks
an early morning hose
spitting orange juice a stream squeezing
the wind to a rest, noxious rain
clouds stepping down
catching the lily without a dew and then
the dots signified the end like this.....................

The Death of the Ball Turret Gunner
From my mother's sleep I fell into the State,
And I hunched in its belly till my wet fur froze.
Six miles from earth, loosed from its dream of life,
I woke to black flak and the nightmare fighters.
When I died they washed me out of the turret with a hose.

Calling For Help
a hose with a hole
in the garden makes
so much sound
as though it is a
man drowing in the
middle of the sea
calling for help
i do not wish
to change things
i do not want
to help
i like to watch
and see what
really happens
when i decide
to simply be
indifferent

The Drought
Grasses are parched
dry as dust
a cancer spreading
dry rust
locust swarms perish
of hunger and thirst
my green patch of lawn
the last
on this once great continent
faces the unblinking sun
and me
mad and sunstroked
holding the waterless hose
melting in my hand.

The Lady in Pink
Me thinks
Pink is her favorite color
In which, she is
So elegantly dressed.
She is the grand dame, in
Pink Sweater,
Pink skirt,
Pink coat,
Pink hose,
Pale shoes
And pink pearls clipped in her
Perfectly coifed
Champagne colored hair
And diamonds in her smile.

14 Boxes
Page, cage, wage, age, gage, mage, rage, sage;
Like a bow through the rain in search of the rainbow!
But whose hose is now hanging over there?
Date, fate, late, gate, bate, mate, pate, sate, rate;
And like the 14 Boxes of items shipped to her,
But she possessed what you wanted.

Enter In
'Enter in, through te narrow gate;
For, wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction! !
And, many are those who go that way'.
However, if you want life, then, the narrow way is what you need;
Because, straight is the gate, and few are hose who have found it!

Morning mirror
came squeezed out of the toothpaste tube
and the shower-head unblinking
said
as though this was the norm
suppose
with an accent
of a much more superior hose
you'll expect
everything to be like any other day
and tears came
a solitary drip
then two
and a coagulation of old shampoo
leaned across in vain
and in the mirror
hints that life was
maybe just a game
