Quotes about intertwine, page 4
Moonshine
Once in a blue moon time can redefine
New concepts of true beauty Nature shows
Charming sleeping birds from trees. Breeze blows
Enhancing heaven shimmer shadow shine
Imagine 'ghostly galleon's' sails set sign
Night flight in orbit rolling round, flight flows
Announce both life and death, bright circle glows,
By magic for four billion years, divine
Light or collision caused intertwine
Uniting Earth, Moon satellite, twinned whole
Ensuring tidal movement pole to pole,
Making life more likely to enshrine
Onward evolution, terran rite,
ONe shared attraction adding oversight.

Living Life
upon a race
to win
one must dash his way
towards
the finishing line
it could be like life
when we want to win
we dash
to such speed that we
ignore the faces
of those
beside us
we imagine the cheers
and the awarding
ceremony
you know very well
life is never a race

Dzit Bizhi Adini, I
[In the Navajo Language the
title is 'Mountain with no name.']
Part 1
Let us go, you and I,
To the Henry Mountains,
Way up high, tracking bison
At 10,000 feet; purebred bison,
That can hear our bare feet, and scatter.
No one to alarm us,
Since love has been breeding
Like the bison over the continent.
But I have to ask whether I love you:
If you are a calyx I do;
If you are but a shankshaft I don't know; if you are a morel who's to say.
And what if we happen to intertwine,
High on sunlit limestone porches, in those
Nameless Mountains.
Would the bison be
Aware?

Tying The Knots Of Peace
With knot one,
My spell's begun
May it's power soar
It's for everyone
With knot two
Pure as mountain dew
My motive is
That my wish come true
With knot three
Find Harmony
From Ocean floor
To the tallest tree
By knot four
Open the door
End suffering
And banish war

Two August Stormclouds
August, and a sky
Chaotic as an abstract artist’s canvas:
Thin streaks of filigree
Intertwine with cruder lumps of cumulus
Precursors of sudden summer showers
That lie in wait
To surprise us with their anger.
Calm blue above:
Reminder of the quiet night,
A sea of sheer serenity.
August, and a day
Fantastic as a funfair filled with children:
Thin strands of candyfloss
Intermesh with messier scoops of ice-cream
Precursors of terrible toddler tantrums
That lie in wait
To harry us with their havoc.
Calm rest below:
Reminder of the holiday break,

On a Piece of Tapestry
Hold high the woof, dear friends, that we may see
The cunning mixture of its colours rare.
Nothing in nature purposely is fair,—
Her beauties in their freedom disagree;
But here all vivid dyes that garish be,
To that tint mellowed which the sense will bear,
Glow, and not wound the eye that, resting there,
Lingers to feed its gentle ecstacy.
Crimson and purple and all hues of wine,
Saffron and russet, brown and sober green
Are rich the shadowy depths of blue between;
While silver threads with golden intertwine,
To catch the glimmer of a fickle sheen,—
All the long labour of some captive queen.

A Parsonage In Oxfordshire
Where holy ground begins, unhallowed ends,
Is marked by no distinguishable line;
The turf unites, the pathways intertwine;
And, wheresoe'er the stealing footstep tends,
Garden, and that domain where kindred, friends,
And neighbours rest together, here confound
Their several features, mingled like the sound
Of many waters, or as evening blends
With shady night. Soft airs, from shrub and flower,
Waft fragrant greetings to each silent grave;
And while those lofty poplars gently wave
Their tops, between them comes and goes a sky
Bright as the glimpses of eternity,
To saints accorded in their mortal hour.

I Only Need
To trace your fingers down my spine,
shall I call it spine-tingling?
To intertwine your limbs with mine,
shall I call that intermingling?
I do not think I shall give it names.
There is no need to do so.
I only need to think on it,
for the pleasure it gives me
is nameless, but priceless.
It cannot exact a fee.
To place the tip of your tongue on me,
shall I call that tongue-ing?
To inhale your breath that's close to me,
shall I call that breathing?
I do not think I shall label it.
And so I shall not try.
I only need to think on it
for the thoughts tell me why.
It's lableless, but joyous.

The ecstasy
(after John Donne)
From the start although it had been
great ecstasy and our loving
had been better than anything and we were keen,
we had a deep understanding
and although it were at times gentle and powerfully severe,
the fun and joy and moment’s bliss was unperplex
while nothing did with the loving interfere,
we both knew that it had been much greater than just sex
while our hands, fingers and bodies did intertwine
and for long moments
in all things, in intimacy you were mine;
there were some elements
of a different thing
of a principle, of love a greater understanding.

A dozen Roses
A dozen Roses I give you my friend A gift that seems smal but its represents so much Our friendship most of all
A rose for friendship
A rose for touch
A rose for the touch we sgare our sharing means so much
A rose for kindness and the deep caring you show
A rose for the comfort your given when I've Been low.
A rose for the laughter how its makes your eyes shine.
for the dreams we share Its amazing how they intertwine.
A rose for the deep respect you give me with ease
A rose for the love we share and Now you wish to please.
A Rose for your compassion that has helped me in so many ways
A Rose for the sunshine you bring to me to make my days so bright
