Quotes about oath, page 4

Commitment

Commitment is
An oath one makes
After reaching the deciding factor
That it takes, what it takes
Whether the oath brings the world's
approval or acknowledgement or not
It's all real
Completely genuine
Not at all fake
100% of
total effort
Is what most people desires
For life requires,
tenacity is also
what it takes

Allegiance

An oath has been pledged from the heart,
His task was certainly one of steel and iron;
Hard and brittle tasks require difference,
My oath shall proclaim this to the very fibre.

A little push goes a long way to the far end,
Words push and crawl to exterminate;
A wonderful meaning has arisen from them,
To make this pledge of allegiance.

My statements seem sound and sacred,
But my phrases shall count to the rest of us,
In efforts we explain, and all this while
The superiority of our dialogue is shown.

The artistry of love

The artistry of love
~
I awoke to birdsong and a girl
I saw the morning begin anew
And to my heart I swore this oath
That my all I would gladly give
To see such a radiant smile
Greet me from my sleep
To look into her warming eyes
There my soul is found resting
And love be it of any other name
Love is a work of purest art
To inspire the mind of man
To awaken all creation
Ode to the beauty which lays within
Ode to the oath which I gave
And the birds which sang
On that joyous morning
Played to the world their song
To love which is after all

Mistaken for love

Her tears flow,
Down they roll,
Never to stop,
The man she loves,
Has betrayed and burned,
Everything that she called love,
Lost in thoughts,
She walks away from the shack,
He has mistaken,
For her love is stronger than hate,
Yet when she seeks revenge,
Her hate is stronger,
For she has lost her love,
She has sworn an oath to kill him,
His greeds was mistaken for love,
Greed for money,
Greed for comfort,
Greed for everything but good,
She walks in carrying a sharp twisted blade,
Her fine silk gown ripples,

Evil Time Place Person Past Era Convict

this is the great age instant
the time is now now now now
personal satisfaction instant
is believed perceived relieved
in instant access on line now
games games games trends
now now now twitter facebook
escape from past never look
back into demons of time past

in the past I don't
believe in the past
mottoes transcend
raw responsibilities
memories ignored
demons not executed
binding by oath don’t
review pain raw past
deaths not appeased

The Black Tower

SAY that the men of the old black tower,
Though they but feed as the goatherd feeds,
Their money spent, their wine gone sour,
Lack nothing that a soldier needs,
That all are oath-bound men:
Those banners come not in.

There in the tomb stand the dead upright,
But winds come up from the shore:
They shake when the winds roar,
Old bones upon the mountain shake.

Those banners come to bribe or threaten,
Or whisper that a man's a fool
Who, when his own right king's forgotten,
Cares what king sets up his rule.
If he died long ago
Why do yopu dread us so?

There in the tomb drops the faint moonlight,

What Is A Cigar?

Even Sigmund Freud
said that sometimes
a cigar is only a cigar.
Not a phallic symbolic

sensual sexual object.

Obviously President
U.S. of A. Clinton
did not graduate past
the phallic symbolism.

Has Clinton not got the Freudian
message down to political pat?

Cigar language is multicultural!
Lewd cigar games are probing
business psychology deeper than
Clinton with Monica Lewinsky!

The Invective of Achilles--V. 225

'Bibber besotted, with scowl of a cur, having heart of a deer, thou!
Never to join to thy warriors armed for the press of the conflict,
Never for ambush forth with the princeliest sons of Achaia
Dared thy soul, for to thee that thing would have looked as a death-stroke.
Sooth, more easy it seems, down the lengthened array of Achaians,
Snatch at the prize of the one whose voice has been lifted against thee.
Ravening king of the folk, for that thou hast thy rule over abjects;
Else, son of Atreus, now were this outrage on me thy last one.
Nay, but I tell thee, and I do swear a big oath on it likewise:
Yea, by the sceptre here, and it surely bears branches and leaf-buds
Never again, since first it was lopped from its trunk on the mountains,
No more sprouting; for round it all clean has the sharp metal clipped off
Leaves and the bark; ay, verify now do the sons of Achaia,
Guardian hands of the counsels of Zeus, pronouncing the judgement,
Hold it aloft; so now unto thee shall the oath have its portent;
Loud will the cry for Achilles burst from the sons of Achaia
Throughout the army, and thou chafe powerless, though in an anguish,
How to give succour when vast crops down under man-slaying Hector
Tumble expiring; and thou deep in thee shalt tear at thy heart-strings,
Rage-wrung, thou, that in nought thou didst honour the flower of Achaians.'

An honest decision

I had to take honest decision
So far it didn’t take off due to indecision
I should be blamed for this lapse
She was ready to accept me perhaps

She may stare at me all the way
She will not gather the strength and say
Her movements made me think seriously
She will come to see me continuously

I only loved her and told too
It was equally correct and true
I was touching her centre nerve
It was all open to observe

She may utter few words in air
I may not guess it very clear
I could read some worries and fear
How long she may have to endure and bear?

You and I

You and I
make a promise
something that unbroken by time
to stay in bliss
if you keep believe
there is no reason for me to leave

You and I
share millions of memories
Permanently in full phase
Safe in my heart place
impossible to erase...
Remember each second we together?
Treasure scent of Joy, smiles and laughter
Even in sad our day still enjoyable
Amnesia could never cross over
These memories will stay till death
taste this sweet until my last breathe

You and i
