Acronym Attic - SPP
The Acronym List truly is a ghastly mess
seeking the meaning of SPP I only learnt
Malay is way ahead in the SPP acronym
stakes with three definitions:
Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pendidikan
(Education Service Commission)
Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan
(Contribution of Education Building)
Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan
(Contribution of Education Maintenance)
It is the sing-song repetition of Pendidikan that
keeps me enthralled -matan -naan and –raan
lulls me to sleep beautifully
Slovakian provides the most fun: Slovensky
Plynarensky Priemysel (Slovak Gas Industry)
Canada being the most pedantic: Syndicat des
Professionnells et Professionels; male & female

Perception and Ideology
You are a person of high resolve
Capable of flying high and certainly solve
All burning problems with high degree and care
This keeps you go high and wonderfully dare
Once you believe in projecting the target
Take calculated risk and watchfully act
How come achievement can elude the success?
When you have complete reach with full access
Any successful person may air his intention
Develop powerful instinct with all its prevention
What if plan runs into rough weather?
And what next if finds no favor either
Man is blessed with clear ideology
He has been blessed with it from almighty
He may dock it with powerful drive
Stay in race and successfully survive

Proud to Have Themselves Treated Like Children
Of course they have depicted me as a fool.
Wouldn't you...
If I came along to infect,
A collective ignorance the others project!
I give them credit for putting that label on me early.
I had always been a maverick.
And accused of not being down to Earth.
You know the kind...
Blind by accomplishments,
That provoked and stirred.
You know the kind...
Proud and dignified.
From the ghetto but bestowed with self worth.
You know the kind...
Trying to be somebody,
When those around me...
Were satisfied to be clowns and jerks!

Sethu Ocean Project(TamilNadu, India)
To shorten the sea-trade route
and export goods and expand trade,
the stone-bridge across the Palk Straits
off the town of Rameswaram
needs to be cleared away.
But some superstitious men
trade tirade against the Project
and stop carrying on the work.
The stones might have been laid
in ancient days by the Tamil Kings.
But these religious bigots
argue with fictional stories
that it was built by Rama
with the help of Hanuman's forces.
Whoever could have built it
but what use the people have
within the sea the bridge to save?
When Katchativu Islands

How To Win At “no Limit Hold-em”
“Shuffle up and deal”, look at your hand
Then scan around, read other players faces
You must project you’re in total command
Confidant! A driver that wins all his races
It looks good, to play the two cards dealt
You choose to call and gently tap the felt
Aces in the hole! You’re never gonna fold
Every move you make must be controlled
Hand has hit, now own sweet time you take
Make ‘em sweat, by riffling your chip stack
Make a big raise, as cold as a rattlesnake
And make it real clear, you’re on the attack
With pocket aces you’ve got them on the run
Be absolutely sure you don’t project a “Tell”
This is a sure way for them to spoil your fun
And turn your blissful win into a living hell

Too Long In Happiness
Did you expect to find me saddened?
Returning as a 'gift' to lift my spirits,
From darkened caverns of despair?
Hoping to build and boost me as your new project...
As you coached me through a narrow tunnel vision!
Something you suspect,
You placed and left there...
By a quick and regretted decision?
You have an expression of shock I witness.
Neither am I bitter...
Nor has hope for me been stopped!
Are you surprised I have no tears to drop?
What are you planning to plot on this 'visit'?
When you left without explanation...
And I saw you unexpectedly,
With a ticket to board a train at the station.
I knew right then you were setting me free!
I admit I was then a bit upset...

America, The Dead
I can see it,
I can feel it through the mess halls
of the darkest and damndest ghettos of America,
Its truth moves me like a Greek tragedy.
Only this tragedy is the sad tragedy of the American project.
The project of unique individualism intertwined with a deeper collectivism.
Truthfulness, Character, Honor, and politics which serve
For the people, the power taken back from the highest given to the lowest and
given to all.
Yet it has not to be nor does it seem to be heading that direction.
Materialism, Militarism,
Greed and an undeniable nihilism deeply rooted in the
psyche of all who call themselves
America.
Alive, hopefully, is the fire which should be stirred not once more, but always-
For democracy is action, a way of life, not a state of ruling.
Yet through and through America's poorest parts,
And underprivileged,
From the blacks and latinos to the whites and the natives,
America has yet to have found itself.

Poet not to remain
It is essence of poet not to remain quiet
Even though may not have knowledge considered to be basic
The thoughts and images must reach to the masses
As they may have enough of it to read in classes
The flower may not know what fragrance it has
There might not be awareness yesterday as it was
Still there may be bright tomorrow to celebrate
It may be simple try by poet to project and narrate
The poets are called crazy and thought driven
They do not bother for their appearance even
They eat whatever they get and stay wherever they are
The world is so close to them and not very far
They are part of each living object
They accept it in mind and never reject
They try to feel natural belongingness
And it is there as gift to feel oneness

I Felt Insulted
I once did a task,
I thought would make others pleased.
I accomplished this with sacrifice...
Hoping this would elevate their priorities.
But they were of limited mindsets.
A bigger picture they could not see.
And one day I got a knock on my door.
From two who came to say...
'We appreciate your efforts.
And the quality of your deeds.
If you want us we are here,
To take you where you wish to go.
To hand out some flyers to promote us...'
Excuse me?
Say what?
You've come to do that,
So I can advertise your abilities?
