Quotes about ramble, page 4
Ramble little lamb
As mystery ferments within the womb of Our mother
We anticipate the rebirth of appreciation.
Meditate within your shell,
Build your heaven from the remnants of a hollow hell.
Ramble little lamb, forever onwards towards the horizon,
As clouds above form as child flown chariots, raining down
Strikes on inspiration. Forget regret.
The Muse she stirs my heart a blur,
As spiral constructs obstruct the glare
Of Apollo in his pride

By A Person Of Quality.
Remote from Strife, from urban Throngs, and Noise.
Here dwells my Soul amidst domestic Joys:
No ratling Coaches serious Thoughts annoy;
Nor busy prating Fools my Peace destroy:
Wrapt up in all the Sweets of rural Ease,
My great Creator's Works my Senses please.
The Mind, in peaceful Solitude, has Room
To range in Thought, and ramble far from home,
Others may court the Joys which Princes give,
Whilst I, in sacred Silence, truly live.

Oh, Wonderous Sight, My Love Divine,
For my Darling Wife, Lili
Oh, wondrous sight, my love divine,
I linger for your touch.
How can you leave me so tonight
When we do mean so much?
To be with you was meant to be
Not soon, but, here and now.
I yearn to be close to you,
So call and tell me how.
These thoughts do ramble through my mind
They do not go away,
For mystery fair, you are always there
Forever and a day.

The Chosen Cliff
HERE in silence the lover fondly mused on his loved one;
Gladly he spake to me thus: "Be thou my witness, thou stone!
Yet thou must not be vainglorious, thou hast many companions;
Unto each rock on the plain, where I, the happy one, dwell,
Unto each tree of the wood that I cling to, as onward I ramble,
'Be thou a sign of my bliss!' shout I, and then 'tis ordain'd.
Yet to thee only I lend a voice, as a Muse from the people
Chooseth one for herself, kissing his lips as a friend."

Blooms
In my garden a new rose blooms,
velvet red with heady sweet perfume.
The rose bush itself is carefully tended,
fertilized, when best remembered.
Cut back yearly, pruned in March,
so that when at last
the summer sun breaks through in June
the rose, displays a perfect bloom.
A small distance away, along a weathered fence;
a rose left to ramble, reveals its own elegance.
It’s white, pink flowers cluster
in great multitudes along it’s trailing limbs,
clambering and lightly scented
they grow and bloom untended.

Listening Effectively
I got it...
The first time.
I got it...
The second time.
But it was after the third time,
Of understanding clearly...
What was said the first time,
I stopped listening...
To allow you to ramble on.
Hoping in the midst of you doing it...
Something in your mind would comprehend,
I am also participating in the conversation.
And doing the best I can,
To do that effectively.
'Oh...
So,
Why didn't you interrupt me...
To say that you understood? '

(Writer Poem) A Correction To The Infinite Number Possible In A Life Time
Correction after correction.
On here in it's entirety is a 700 digit.
I was proud when I reached 100 on my space.
Now I'm just overwhelmed by my own thought process and how it keeps going.
It's another black blizzard and it just won't stop snowing.
I need a book or something.
To classify what some would call my poems.
To classify what I would call my obsessive ramblings.
With some more of a ramble then others.
A stress reliever with so many colors.
I know my heart and soul exist on one of these pages.
Now if I only I could find it.

Evening Ramble
As evening shadows fall
And stars begin to shine
We walk hand in hand
Under a moon that’s divine
The creatures of the night
Scamper to and fro
They will stop for a moment
As their eyes reflect the light
We walk through a wonderland
On our ramble as we go
Our hearts beat as one
In the stillness, don’t you know
Here on a warm summer night
Its not only the stars that shine bright
Flowers fill the air
With a fragrant perfume
And love is everywhere
It fills the heart with peace and joy
For every man, woman, girl and boy

Sorrow's Twin
I am sorrow's twin,
No smiles here.
I have forgotten the sound
Of my own laughter...
I ramble around in dark rooms,
Stand in corners of dispair.
Can't get out of here.
My twin, sorrow,
Lay heavy on my chest,
So heavly I cannot rest.
Go away, you foolish whims
Speaking in whispers of a
Better tomorrow...
Leave me here with my twin
Sorrow!
She knows me better than you;
Makes no promises to be
Broken,
Gives out no token
Lies of peace and truth.

The Lent Lily
'Tis spring; come out to ramble
The hilly brakes around,
For under thorn and bramble
About the hollow ground
The primroses are found.
And there's the windflower chilly
With all the winds at play,
And there's the Lenten lily
That has not long to stay
And dies on Easter day.
And since till girls go maying
You find the primrose still,
And find the windflower playing
With every wind at will,
But not the daffodil,
Bring baskets now, and sally
Upon the spring's array,
