Unadorned Truth
The splendor of nakedness
Truth is like a beaker of unarmed spring water
Truth refreshes
Truth vitalizes
Truth liberates
A half-full beaker of truth
Is like a flowing tributary of mistrust
Is like a fearful lake of drowned love
Is like a trickle of intravenous venom
A beaker of fortified untruth
Is like ravenous cancer
Is like truth incarcerated
Is like fangs without the venom
Unadorned truth is the splendor of nakedness

I think that if the beast who sleeps in man could be held down by threats — any kind of threat, whether of jail or of retribution after death — then the highest emblem of humanity would be the lion tamer in the circus with his whip, not the prophet who sacrificed himself. … What has for centuries raised man above the beast is not the cudgel but an inward music: the irresistible power of unarmed truth, the powerful attraction of its example.

Truth, The New Terrorist Threat!
they're macing unarmed
female protesters in new york city....
whose freedom did they threaten?
whose do you threaten?
in the land of the free
and the home of the brave,
truth has become the new
terrorist threat!
we stand on the cliff
overlooking now and tomorrow...
will we dare to leap?
will we dare to get involved?
there wont be a tomorrow
if we dont!
the true cost of freedom
is living in a way that

When Courage Fails
How much courage with each breath
Can a wounded spirit gather
To take each inevitable, painful step
When only a path of thorns lies ahead?
With what courage can it battle the heat
The tiny sapling in scorching desert
Where the last dropp of water has vapourised?
From where can it muster
The courage to face a raging storm
The bird with a broken wing?
How long can I hold on
In this battle I am fighting unarmed
Without a refuge to infuse in me
The courage I am unable to find?

Falling Off The Face (Of The Earth)
falling off the face
of the earth....
going too fast for the curve.
running headlong into a stone wall,
losing my grip on the ledge.
plowing too deep...
standing too close to the fire.
feeling the blade on my fingers,
tasting the poison on my lips.
standing beneath my work,
watching it fall back into my face.
poised on the wrong end of the barrel,
ready to fight, unarmed, outnumbered.
two steps beyond doubt takes faith....
yea, i've been there just like you.

Freedom!
Freedom, an arm,
To arm the unarmed.
A desire, never been truth,
Always remained in books.
Freedom, a word,
To word the wordless,
An inspiration, never cared,
Always remained in feeling.
Freedom, a dream,
To dream the dreamers.
A taste, never felt,
Always played hide and seek.
Freedom, a fight,
To fight the fighters.
A cry, never exist,
Always lied in sighs.

Sonnet- On Patience
Praised be, the man of patience, limitless;
He is not weak, mind stronger grows each day;
He knows no haste; his spirit is dauntless;
His foes better avoid, crossing his way.
Praised be the man of patience infinite;
His unseen strength is Herculean in size;
His patience grows without any debit;
This virtue wins him laurels, rewards nice.
The patient soul can win a battle tough;
His strategy is best and works always;
His Hope remains though goings become rough;
Success will favor him in years or days.
The best weapon an unarmed man carries
Is Patience, whom his Will-power marries.

The hidden violence lurked (English sonnet)
The hidden violence lurked, was right there,
waiting always waiting to come to the surface
and in Africa most people were totally unaware
until the blood flowed, until they had to face
the destruction, until a hungry lion rushed in;
on the tranquil river eyes were peeping
and this struggle no unarmed person could win
when razor sharp jaws were snapping
and yet a kind of beauty, a kind of innocence,
was always present and just waiting to appear,
even if cruelty did daily feelings incense
there was something without any kind of fear
that dwelt in the early morning beauty,
something that stayed great and forever free.
