Quotes about useful, page 4
It is great
I thank God for making me realize
I am greatly indebted and obliged
I have got whatever I wanted
Life was normal and passed without being hunted
I might have erred in life and violated
Certain sacred norms to remain just elated
It was narrow thinking and not at all useful
It was not at useful and purposeful
I might have been influenced by wrong associates
They might have added some fuel to demean and vitiate
I am equally responsible for some of the blame
It did damage some of reputation to good name
I could not turn them back for only one reason
I was very weak and not confident person
I depended heavily on their advices
This was forcing me to fall back on some of the promises

Zafur's Prophetic Dream
She stands, poised under the heavens of Planet Aeon
Zafur’s squad besieged, as aircraft aviate skies agleam
Unafraid, foreseen by gods. This day! A war would spawn.
“We seek no defeat.” This is Zafur’s prophetic dream.
Zafur’s squad besieged, as aircraft aviate skies agleam
Hearing, the loud sonic bursts and shrill whine of airships
“We seek no defeat.” This is Zafur’s prophetic dream.
With quick speed the missile blasters depart from air strips
Hearing, the loud sonic bursts and shrill whine of airships
Pilot’s fly craft, lethal path over jagged rock peaks
With quick speed the missile blasters depart from air strips
She cursed their elders, demigods who speak their fate, bleak
Pilot’s fly craft, lethal path over jagged rock peaks
If they be captured, we will make them useful captives
She cursed their elders, demigods who speak their fate, bleak
No quiet surrender. We will fight! not yield our life, inactive

You Are Worthless
“You are worthless and no longer can be useful”
All your conducts compel me to think and feel shameful”
My heart really bled and felt at bottom of the sea
You won’t be able to look at the pain and see
I could see reason behind her outburst
As I had all the time cared and kept trust
At no point of time I had dodged her
I failed to find out what was in her to bother
May be she had compelling reasons
She had failed to see me as nice person
What was I to do more for her conviction?
I had given her more than once positive indication
No one can undo the real love and feeling
No one can lay a hand over at and attempt at stealing
It is so sacred and concealed fact
One only needs to acknowledge and act

Lines in Praise of Tommy Atkins
Success to Tommy Atkins, he's a very brave man,
And to deny it there's few people can;
And to face his foreign foes he's never afraid,
Therefore he's not a beggar, as Rudyard Kipling has said.
No, he's paid by our Government, and is worthy of his hire;
And from our shores in time of war he makes our foes retire,
He doesn't need to beg; no, nothing so low;
No, he considers it more honourable to face a foreign foe.
No, he's not a beggar, he's a more useful man,
And, as Shakespeare has said, his life's but a span;
And at the cannon's mouth he seeks for reputation,
He doesn't go from door to door seeking a donation.
Oh, think of Tommy Atkins when from home far away,
Lying on the battlefield, earth's cold clay;
And a stone or his knapsack pillowing his head,
And his comrades lying near by him wounded and dead.

What is to be done!
Do I really belong to this world?
Am I really worthy to remain in the fold?
Am I literally with their concept of life?
What am I likely to do for this war torn strife?
I have no answer exactly as what is to be done
I want to pun an end to hostilities and by gone
No useful purpose can be solved if old rivalry is dragged on
No material aid or any kind of help can be flown
If I can become peace messenger and roving ambassador!
I shall keep all avenues open with no closed doors
Every steps being taken to ensure lasting peace
As the main aim would be to live at ease
As man would be seized with dreams and so much fancy
It will be influenced by factors and can be counted as many
Still it is good to think about the rendering of useful help
As so many may seem to be lethargic and uncaringly slept

A father's day
It is lovely day to enjoy
Father’s day is to be celebrated with joy
We rejoice at home but he is never annoyed
His discomfort is never conveyed
We use to tease papa but he offered sweet smile
He will never object our activities even for a while
He used stand high in our eyes with great stature
He never compromised with our future
I still continue to think over the matter and wonder
He will occupy main positioning home and thunder
We are safe and protected under his refuge
He is always there to stand by us with new ideas to infuse
If myth was reality and ready to explode,
Dark clouds were at horizons ready to invade,
Time has come when spade is to be called spade,
Memory remains very short and ready to fade,

Iva's Pantoum
We pace each other for a long time.
I packed my anger with the beef jerky.
You are the baby on the mountain. I am
in a cold stream where I led you.
I packed my anger with the beef jerky.
You are the woman sticking her tongue out
in a cold stream where I led you.
You are the woman with spring water palms.
You are the woman sticking her tongue out.
I am the woman who matches sounds.
You are the woman with spring water palms.
I am the woman who copies.
You are the woman who matches sounds.
You are the woman who makes up words.
You are the woman who copies
her cupped palm with her fist in clay.

Free Poems and Depression
I had no idea how I was led to
the table of this wonderful site
while hungrily ransacking the web
for some juicy morsels of free poems —
what brightened my eyesight on the manu
was not its featured Categories
of Nobel Prize Winners,
of Prominent Poets of all nations
of thematic poems of all sorts
of leading women poets of all kinds
of Top Poets of all times
of Famous Poems of the month,
nor was its rich links
to prominent poetry journals,
to foundations and associations
to competitions and cash prizes —
for while congratulating myself
on an endless lavishing feast I had found

Morning moods
Poem 1.
Nightingale sings,
Namaste, Namaste
Peacock dance to that song,
Some people are so strong,
They sleep well till 10,
even if Crows sing and cocks dance on their bed!
Poem 2.
Some are good poets
Some are good writers
There are so many Good topics
Most successful are more controversial,
If there is shadow, then there is light!

Playing Chess With Mundanity To Survive To Write
Playing chess with mundanity to survive to write.
Evading destroyers disguised as Everyman
who hates what I do because he thinks he can't
and ignores it, forgetting I've been trained for oblivion
and writing poetry is the only way you can breathe
when you're swimming in it and the moon is in the corals
trying to grow gills. All the useful functions I serve
I had to make up for myself. I express things
with no regard to having a useful function
though things shape themselves around me as a result.
Let them. I'm as supple as space on a balance beam.
Younger, I sought a name in the fountain mouths of humans
to actualize the pretension of what I hoped I was,
real carrot, real stick, real donkey, by consensus,
like reality, until I began to smell the methane,
and the swarms of squabbly seagulls, and uncover corpses,
and realized the pursuit of fame was just trying
to be something shiny in the garbage dumps
of other peoples' mouths and minds, and any thought
