Quotes about flipped, page 5
I'm Flying With You
Your hands round my waist
Your lips by my neck
Your scent and your taste
Heart flipped when we met
Your talented fingers
Play on your guitar
You forever linger
In my mind more
You make me smile
Like no - one else does
You make me laugh
It's you who I trust
Nervous when with you
But calm in your arms
I tell nothing but truth
You're comfortably warm
You tower high above me
You make me feel so safe
You band down to kiss me
It's you with whom I'll stay

Walls Come Tumbling Down
I've driven around your block so many times
chasing myself in circles
lost, screaming, raving, raging like a crazy person
honking, endangering myself and others
did you hear me?
i cussed at an old lady
i refused to ask for directions
i flipped of a jerk with his
stereotypical loud stereo
he wanted attention,
so i gave it to him
it took me forever to find your house
it took me a while to remember
because i guess i'm just stupid
if you want me to drive around for
7 days and then honk my horn
i'd do it
i'd listen to you

Survivor
The Sound of their laughter
in the dream, I still hear.
I wake up in a sweat
with their screams in my ears.
On a road trip to Tucson,
my teammates and I
met with disaster
and two of them died.
Our team van blew a tire
at a high rate of speed.
It flipped on the highway.
I can still hear the screams.
I kicked out a window
when the van came to a stop.
and dragged out my teammates
off of the blacktop
It was then I lost consciousness
the state trooper said.
I saw white sheets pulled
over two of our dead.

Drifting Thoughts
Fast moving river
Cold and deep
To immerse myself I deliver
From the jetty I leap
Coolness from the days heat
Lifes stresses abate
Heart misses a beat
Float on my back, at a sedate rate
Drifting downstream
Water gently rocking
Minds in a daydream
birds high, chirping, mocking.
Currant pulls faster
Water lapping
To rapids, and disaster
Arms and mind now flapping.

That Summer Afternoon
That summer was not easy on us
But one afternoon the clouds came
And the shadows gave way to quiet light
As we walked to the park half regretting
Having cursed the heat
We were tired of summer, and afraid of winter
Lying by me, you read a book, occasionally
Turning your head to see what I was doing
But I was reading too
And I would bend over to your side
And kiss you lightly on the head
It was a quiet summer afternoon, and
We had all life can offer
The rest being vanity and excess
I flipped a page and turned to you
To kiss you on the head
It was the last of that hot summer
But winter would be warm

Destined To Be Alone
And so it shall be.
My fate is to be all alone.
I can't trust people now.
I've been hurt far to many times.
I thought you were my good friend.
But you flipped and went for me with a knife.
I trusted you but this is what you did.
I told you my darkest secrets and I told you my fears.
But you repayed me with chasing me with a knife.
What did I do so wrong?
I've trusted others too.
But they hurt me aswell.
Really why did I expect it to be any different?
I should have known.
You can't trust anyone in this life.
So I'm destined to be all alone.
My faithfull cats for company cos in them I can trust.
They are allways right by my side.

Those Crazed Are Expressing This
The only thing yet to be outsourced,
Are delusions.
Those spoiled are clinging onto them,
As if they continue to have value.
The truth is as elusive,
As the game of naming new terrorists.
Wherever today the fear of them exist.
With implications of their religious doctrines.
A greatness once cherished has flipped,
With a slipping...
Through greasy licked fingers.
And the shame of it all,
Has uncovered new ways to masquerade a fall.
The intention to fantasize has kept conflicts alive.
And those crazed are expressing this on a daily basis.
With the hope that finding fault with ethnic races,
Will produce 'something' to validate Martial Law!

Please Don't
She only was trying to sooth his back pain; when he stole her innocence away. He took her by surprise and even though he saw the fear in her eyes all he could say was please don’t pull away. Thinking that all he wanted was a romantic kiss she relaxed, but before she knew it he began to unbutton her blouse fear took over the words please don’t could not come out. I’m a virgin she said, I never done anything like this before but her words he ignored. He then flipped her over and penetrated her from behind. Fear took her voice again because she was screaming please don’t in her mind. But her innocence was gone even though she said please don’t.

Thank God I Do
I've been famous...
Infamous, defamed and dismissed!
I've sat to be spat upon by a few,
To forget and forgive and then kissed!
And I've dropped to the bottom,
To crawl painfully back to the top!
And I've dropped to the bottom,
To crawl painfully back to the top!
In a monotonous cycle...
That have flipped flopped more than not!
Several times I've obtained possessions...
To discard or leave behind.
With many successes and regrets of regresses.
With lessons coming difficult...
Back to back some came sometimes!
And today I'm very proud to say,
How blessed I know I am!

Candle Lit Dinner (What She Deserves)
She doesn’t deserve just any poem
Not some mindlessly scrambled words
Flipped and fried
The a golden crisp with a sweet aroma
She doesn’t deserve just any frugal piece
Not just any metaphor or simile
Crushed, pressed and distilled
Into just any sweet nectar
She doesn’t deserve just any arms
Weak and fragile
Cracked and rotted
Put into an uneven shape
She doesn’t deserve just any care
Not some generic store bought
Untimely and haphazard care
Molded into a half made candle
