Quotes about mesh, page 5
A Mood
You are so light and gay,
So slight, sweet maid-
Your limbs like leaves in play,
Or beams that grasses braid :
O ! Joys whose jewels pray
My breast to be inlaid.
Frail fairy of the streets ;
Strong, dainty lure;
For all men's eyes the sweets
Whose lack makes hearts so poor ;
While your heart loveless beats.
Light, laughing, and impure.
O ! Fragrant waft of flesh,
Float through me so-
My limbs are in your mesh,
My blood forgets to flow ;
Ah ! Lilied meadows fresh,
It knows where it would go.

Like a Marathon
Sometimes I don't...
Sleep.
Sometimes I don't...
Rest.
Or eat like I should.
Because I stay up all night writing.
Sometimes I don't...
Drink,
Water...
Like I oughta!
I smoke too many cigarettes.
Trying to match lines,
With concepts that don't mesh.
And I get up to shower in my own protest.
Cursing myself because I am not at my best!
Sometimes I don't...
Sleep.
Sometimes I don't...
Rest.
Or eat like I should.

My Love Knowing' by Talile Ali
rubbing the sleep from my eyes
waken to the sound of falling leaves
realities different
from time to time
after a while it's livid
am i a romancer dancing away the day
am i a husband pursuing his wife
cofused in the mesh of a love sublime
i am oh so orgasmically life
oh well
like all is not what it needs to be?
selfish me
love to be loved
thursting
experience everything
these universes are so intense
women being themselves eternally glowing
listening to the winds move about
there's nothing like
my love knowing

It's Nobody's Fault
I like how music and culture overlap
I love how movies and reality mesh
Thirty frames a second, and holographs are king
In the cubist world of the eleven dimensions
It's nobody's fault.
I like how senses and minds reflect
The outer environments subtle cues
Ink blots and symbol cards give themselves away
There are no secrets in the subconscious collective
It's nobody's fault.
I enjoy that the inner man is pure freedom
Formed into a sacred fountain of living flame
Self renewing and bright as a welders torch
When treasure's hid, no fools may conquer it
It's nobody's fault.

Sonnet: Union is Strength
When separate, straw cannot ever hold!
When twisted firmly, pulls the trunks of trees;
Man never learns this until very old;
Together, men can take their foes with ease.
The strength of braided mesh, no one fore-tells;
Cement when reinforced with steel is great;
Aloud they chime, numerous little bells;
Together, men can achieve any feat!
If citizens of nations can unite,
If nation’s choose to live in harmony,
If men do not oe’r silly causes fight,
This world can turn a land of milk/ honey!
However, goodness must prevail over bad,
To make our hearts in misery more glad.

Because She Would Ask Me Why I Loved Her
If questioning would make us wise
No eyes would ever gaze in eyes;
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.
Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.
For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which he grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?
Then seek not, sweet, the "If" and "Why"
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.

Taedium Vitae
To stab my youth with desperate knives, to wear
This paltry age's gaudy livery,
To let each base hand filch my treasury,
To mesh my soul within a woman's hair,
And be mere Fortune's lackeyed groom, - I swear
I love it not! these things are less to me
Than the thin foam that frets upon the sea,
Less than the thistledown of summer air
Which hath no seed: better to stand aloof
Far from these slanderous fools who mock my life
Knowing me not, better the lowliest roof
Fit for the meanest hind to sojourn in,
Than to go back to that hoarse cave of strife
Where my white soul first kissed the mouth of sin.

For My Daughter
Looking into my daughter’s eyes I read
Beneath the innocence of morning flesh
Concealed, hintings of death she does not heed.
Coldest of winds have blown this hair, and mesh
Of seaweed snarled these miniatures of hands;
The night’s slow poison, tolerant and bland,
Has moved her blood. Parched years that I have seen
That may be hers appear: foul, lingering
Death in certain war, the slim legs green.
Or, fed on hate, she relishes the sting
Of others’ agony; perhaps the cruel
Bride of a syphilitic or a fool.
These speculations sour in the sun.
I have no daughter. I desire none.

The Liars
they thought they could fool me
like a made up poem written
from imagination rather than
real experiences, the fabricated break in
just did not add up to the truth
the wiremesh over the windows
they were all torn down
they said the burglar had used a child
to come in between the windown panes
then opened the door to let him in
do his job
but are why all the wire meshes torn down?
one wire mesh torn out is enough to
get the child in
the liars did not know they were
