Love Trumps Loneliness

The power of sex has taken away the power of love.
This is clearly a piece of evidence that supports
how we are living in a world of sin.
Lust is sexual greed after all and
sexual greed is the killer of love.
Sexual greed is not bad to have
when you are young and
have time on your side.
When one matures, one usually
thinks about how they do not
want to be alone for the rest of their lives.
Love trumps loneliness because love takes
you out of yourself and puts you into someone else.
Once two make one, you will never be alone.

LOok WHerE GReEd HaS GottEN US

I have walked the earth,
but I have never seen
more animosity than
in a workplace.
People will gut
you there with
dull knives that
take hours to penetrate
all of the way.
They belittle or praise
sometimes twice
hailing from both ways.
It is greed, it is greed.
They want more and they
want to get more.
Sell your arms,
sell your limbs
they'll fly away
from you just the same.
The poor have many layers

Greedy Eagles

Even the eagles' greed have killed them!
Can you believe?
Bald eagles wet and can not fly?
Gorging themselves over wasted fish to die!
And when the temperatures dipped,
Into freezing 'teens'...
At least nineteen of fifty greedy eagles,
Were frozen wet and had met their deaths.

And 'they' are the symbols of this land!
Representing...
Just how far,
A land where greed and mankind,
Have gotten out of hand!
To feast and die,
Feeding greed...
That does not guarantee or provide survival!
Not their own,
It seems.

The Flowers

When Love arose in heart and deed
To wake the world to greater joy,
'What can she give me now?' said Greed,
Who thought to win some costly toy.

He rose, he ran, he stoop'd, he clutch'd;
And soon the Flowers, that Love let fall,
In Greed's hot grasp were fray'd and smutch'd,
And Greed said, 'Flowers! Can this be all?'

He flung them down and went his way,
He cared no jot for thyme or rose;
But boys and girls came out to play,
And some took these and some took those—

Red, blue, and white, and green and gold;
And at their touch the dew return'd,
And all the bloom a thousandfold—
So red, so ripe, the roses burn'd!

Of Greed And Corruption

Of greed and corruption we are all too aware
It's happening in your suburb and the big World out there
Many in high places into corporate crime
And more honorable than them in jail serving time
On the scales of justice one must cast a doubt
Big time corporate crims seldom ever caught out
Money speaks every language some are known to say
In the twenty first century it does seem that way
Of greed and corruption the whispers abound
Amongst influential people criminals to be found
To buy their way out of trouble they seldom do fail
The power of their money can keep them from jail
And of greed and corruption we hear every day
Whoever did tell us that crime does not pay?

Giving Options Prevents That

No bonuses.
No more pats on the back.
No bonuses.
Lobbyists fight back.
No bonuses.
And that's why they attack.
Gone will be fat pockets.
And lifestyles lived in shacks.
Thieves like these greed.
Giving options prevents that.

No bonuses.
No more pats on the back.
No bonuses.
Lobbyists fight back.
No bonuses.
And that's why they attack.

Quit Greed At Top-Speed

When greed takes the upper hand
It equals flooding severely the land
More and more of watering is foolish
As grain will never thrive like fish

When in excess grows one's need
There only comfortably settles greed
Little children must have read Midas
To know about arising-from-greed loss

Of course, chances to learn are there
But, mind tries to be always only unfair
Often we must beat our mind strongly
If its movements are made wrongly

If our mind is simply by us let loose
Only to be greedy, we will choose
We need not aim for great growth
If our life will turn rough, not smooth

The Rumour Spread Thus

The rumour spread that he is dead
the talks were excited with passionate greed

anxious souls rushed to the site
eager for morsels of material food

(to pacify momentary greed
though not satiate the need for more)

as he lay he heard the commotion
quickly he came to the conclusion

and the poor unloved soul
thought it fit to kill what was left
of the dying life in him

the rushing crowd of wards and worse
saw the father writhing in pain

his slit hand spoke volumes

The Gene Of Greed In Us

The gene of greed in us is not to be denied
Many with more than enough do not seem satisfied
With them it does always seem much does want more
I only say here what has been said before
For success through greed many seem to compete
To be wealthiest in the neighbourhood and wealthiest on the street
In the leafy Suburb they drive their big new cars up and down
For to display their wealth in their side of the town,
In their backyard for themselves and their spouses and mates a big swimming pool
In the warmth of the Summer to swim in and keep cool
But in a Human World where millions live in poverty
They do not seem wonderful people to me
And in a Human World where the gap between the haves and the have nots is growing ever wide
The gene of greed in us is not to be denied.

Social Welfare-Lites

Suddenly we've become to be,
The social welfare-lites.
People of greed have proceeded,
And deceived.
And now there is seen,
Much deterioration to the extreme.
With a bleakness,
That blights...
But didn't happen overnight.

The thieves have made a profit,
And many hopped away unscathed.
The corruption has sky rocketed.
But those addicted to greed...
Believe their lives should continue,
Feasting as they please...
With no connection,
To a devastated economy.

Suddenly we've become to be,
