Quotes about hose, page 6
Joey's Run In With the Hose
There once was this child,
His name was Joey.
Oh how he hated taking showers,
He was afraid of the shadows,
That the soap bubbles made.
Joey's hygiene was so pungent,
That his cat couldn't go near him without cringing.
His horrific smell got so disgusting,
That one of his classmates turned on the hose,
The next morning Joey finally realized,
That water and soap wasn't his foe.
When his mom cooked him dinner,
He found his true foe.
Beats, carrots, peas,

Happy the Lab'rer
Happy the lab'rer in his Sunday clothes!
In light-drab coat, smart waistcoat, well-darn'd hose,
Andhat upon his head, to church he goes;
As oft, with conscious pride, he downward throws
A glance upon the ample cabbage rose
That, stuck in button-hole, regales his nose,
He envies not the gayest London beaux.
In church he takes his seat among the rows,
Pays to the place the reverence he owes,
Likes best the prayers whose meaning least he knows,
Lists to the sermon in a softening doze,
And rouses joyous at the welcome close.

Frosty Scent!
The sweet scent of a Rose
Stays frozen when sprayed with a hose;
Rose-water, Natural Sweet notes of a Rose
Aroma rejuvenates in Beauty's Classic pose;
Perfumes that suit you, are so many
Rose, Orange, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Honey;
Scents that soothe, please, enhance, refresh, cheer
All depends on the taste and mood, what you wear;
Smell that makes one happy and attractive
Personality, Taste and Mood is indicative;
Frost covers the flower but enhances it's fragrance
Sweet Odour hides the essence of your presence.

Working Together-A Field of Dreams
Miracles do come true
Just for a day
My son and daughter
Teamwork our way
Basepaths to be exact
Tillin from morn' till dawn
Tearing, ripping up the back yard
Our own stadium
Our own lawn
Working together
Not too often
For today and a brief venture
Soul revival
Through the heated sky
Felt great to be with them
Too busy too often
To hear their voices

A Fading Memory Beneath Forgetful Sod
Look me up at 2: 00AM
When the last lonely bar has closed
And you’re drunk with sadness
And not with booze;
Look me up with your running panty hose
And your smoky dress;
Look me up with your tearful eyes
And your weary voice;
Look me up with your abandoned children
Dangling from your heart
Like a nearly broken necklace;
Look me up like a lost sinner
With unutterable crimes to confess
To her fallible priest and fragile God;
Look me up, dear angel,
Before you’re gone forever,
A fading memory beneath forgetful sod.

A banter in my backyard
I spoke to the butterfly telling her
I saw a lizard in the middle
of April at the edge of my garden
and how it was jarred out of its
shaded lethargy by the sprinkle
issuing from my watering hose and
not the traditional mensal showers.
The butterfly flitted her wings at me
which I interpreted as meaning
don’t pull my arms, “They were
April showers weren’t they? ”
but when I looked again at the lizard
now basking on the sun-warmed rock
the butterfly was gone and I knew
what I heard was the air whispering.

During that golden spring [1]
We had a place in the garden
where the fairest lilies grows,
and there was one crimson rose
and of the garden hose you were the warden
always bright and sunny and never sadden
and at times I held you close
tickled with a feather on your ear and nose
and you became either gladden or totally madden
at times shrieking, whimpering
could claw, bite or scream
while that feather was circling and stirring
and in return you would rub ice cream
in my face, in any place during that golden spring,
but now it so long ago, like a far off dream.

My Country Love
If you passed her in your city
You would call her badly dressed,
But the faded homespun covers
Such a heart in such a breast!
True, her rosy face is freckled
By the sun's abundant flame,
But she's mine with all her failings,
And I love her just the same.
If her hands are red they grapple
To my hands with splendid strength,
For she's mine, all mine's the beauty
Of her straight and lovely length!
True, her hose be think and homely
And her speech is homely, too;
But she's mine! her rarest charm is
She's for me, and not for you!

Spread My Words Of Peace
Nose, lose, whose, hose, dose, pose;
My mind will never be at rest because of you!
Dial, briar, vial, trial;
And like the bush-meat eaten in your lover's home!
But, why should you now throw bombs against us?
Stone temples of pilots,
The book of customary rites is now closer to you;
But, why should your bombs now fall on us?
The secret around us is now full of eyes but,
Our love is full of troubles on this earth as well! !
Because you've made destruction your friend in the land of unity;
But, try to spread my words of peace around the world.

Rhymes With My Wife While Fixing A Leaky Hose
'Life is not alone' you said
There are many trees in the yard
So if you sweep the yard
Clean the leaves scattered
I feel fulfilled that life is joy and sorrow bear
Like water flowing from the hose
Sometimes the water off and you're restless
But life is in pairs
I was on your side and you were there
Once upon time I think about death
But you will always live
And I will live for you
Sometimes love is the very first crossword puzzle
But now I'm more confident
That life is in pairs
Indeed, there are ups and downs
but we will never divorced scatters
