Quotes about nectar, page 6
Sideways
My love mesmerizes you;
its your intoxication.
I see your soul
singing with every glance I give,
every heart tug
you too evince in me,
with just one
of those smiles of yours.
You pose in my view,
twirl slightly,
give me sudden side-way
glance
just like in the movies,
counting my heartbeats
which you can hear from across the room.
Oh, you love my smitten-ness.

The Flower and Bee
“Who are you? ” said the rose to the bee.
“What’s it to you? ” said he arrogantly.
“Well, I don’t know who the hell you are,
and why you’re stealing my special nectar.”
“Don’t you realise that I’ve come from afar
just to collect your special nectar.”
“Good manners cost nothing and that’s a fact,
and a little respect would see to that.”
“I’m in a hurry and haven’t got time for this,
I have many pick-ups that I just can’t miss;
and I take exception to being called a thief
after all said and done I bring you relief.
It’s a simple case of I help you and you help me,
an excepted procedure for the flower and bee.
“I know perfectly well the procedures Mr Bee,
all that I’m asking is for common courtesy.

A butterfly finds its way back
A butterfly finds its way back
It was a drift from the path
It took place sometime back
Because our heroine sensed a lack
In the taste of nectar in the flower of the park
To the same park this flock of butterflies
Used to come and enjoy the sweet and nice
Nectar in the red and blue poppies
And fly back with this sweetened hobby
It was more an excuse than a reason
For this drift, but a thought’s treason
To deviate and critically question
All that were followed in mindless unison
Our young colourful one with whistle
In her wings, over a time turned hostile
To this tradition and thought it futile

I Turned Into a Butterfly
In a warm spring day
the bee flied far away.
It had left its shelter
to collect the sweet nectar
from the beautiful flowers
using God’s dower.
When the bee flied over the honey flower
it couldn’t see me, a poor caterpillar.
I looked at the bee,
I looked at the sky,

Listen to The Song of Invisible Bird!
Listen to The Song of that invisible bird,
The Song of great singer several souls heard,
Sings sitting on tree of life, hidden under every leaf,
Its song go unheard by those pretend deaf,
Ever tuned to that great music,
Everytime it sings same song,
But with different lyrics and different words,
Autumn may come followed by spring,
Leaves may fall to make way to new,
Each leaf has that song, the bird flies under cover of green leaf,
When old yellow one fall,
Green leaves should learn from the fall of the old!
One can wait flowers to bloom,
Or can reap all fruits mature,
or remove immature buds or raw fruits,
The tree of life spread to several worlds,

Is love holy?
A girl next door is the nectar
For a boy who has no one sweeter.
For her, none is absolute viewer.
So I loved her to my heart. Did she?
No clue she shed either,
As to her pouring me her nectar.
Yet I sat on wait
As would a crane at a strait,
For a tryst,
Which is not easy in a tiny village,
Where even a cough is news.
There were many to love her,
Her ma, her pa and her peers,
But none could be a match
Like me to kindle her itch.
Love is God so, of her I was mad.
Loving one is neither bad.
‘Love neigbours.’
‘Love across cast and creed.’
‘Plants and animals are also

A fable about the bee and the butterfly
Once upon a time
In a warm spring day
The bee flied far away.
It has left it’s shelter
To collect the sweet nectar
From the beautiful flowers
Using God’s dower.
When the bee flied over the field
Alas, it couldn’t see the caterpillar
That crept in the grass.

Childhood Memories Two: Flight Of Bumble Bees
down the rabbit hole
of childhood memories
we tumble into lost world
chasing arriving bumble bees
hunting in prairie of Father’s
pumpkin plants stalking prey
bumble bees fly in proudly
wearing Westport rugby jerseys
in unseasonal yearly attire
buzzing in upon summer breezes
industriously gathering pollen nectar
pollinating all pumpkin flowers
flight from flower to flower flit
will ensure a harvest of pumpkin
baked in roasts in Mother’s oven

Young Zed Next Door
Patrick and Fleur have a baby daughter Arabella a little sister for young Zed next door
And he's so happy with his new born sibling and he himself still so young only four
And when you ask him how's his baby sister with a happy smile he answers she is good
These are the happiest days he will remember the foundation to a good life a happy childhood.
A fair haired boy with a cheerful disposition in years from now doubtless he will recall
His happy days in Watt street in Wonthaggi for good childhood memories are the best of all
His life journey may take him from Wonthaggi and he yet may live in a Land far away
But the miracle of the birth of Arabella through his life span with him destined to stay.
Young Zed next door is learning about Nature how birds and bees take nectar from the flowers
The honeyeaters sing in the back garden and magpie blows his flute in Spring's green hours
In Nature's garden natural growth is vibrant and blossoms bloom after the brief Spring showers
And childhood like Spring is such a time of beauty children's lives so spiritual when compared to ours.
I envy Zed his joy and innocence of childhood his young and happy soul full of sunshine
Long years ago and in a different country such joy and happiness was also mine
In Spring the World around me full of beauty and the lark was carolling in the clear blue sky
And wild brown bees out busy gathering nectar buzzing above the fields of Lisnaboy.
