Quotes about searing, page 6
The Soaring Crane
Through the searing pain,
history buried; for sorrow, time takes
The future lifted in the sky amidst hails
for the tears wept in the jaws of Hades
have reached prosperity's gates
And now the streams weep
into our hearts' depths and the boundaries strip
Angel's wings that flip
as we travel along a riff so steep
unto healing, all natives cling
The soaring crane blossoms in might
with it's mighty wings conquering heights
with it's hardened fists ready for a fight
glimpsing into the future with its keen sight
it set's off for its destined flight.

Into the Darkness (part 2 of 5) 'Blind
The light within has faded
And the darkness is closing in
There's a chance to break through
One arrow to shatter the heartache
One way to show you who I am
But the light within me is fading
My power is slipping away
The pain inside is searing
Now, I am becoming blind
But now its too late
And it has closed me in
I am getting claustrophobic
It's getting hard to breathe
I feel like my body is not my own
My eyes are losing sight to this our world
All I see is the 'others'
How do you expect me to save you when I can't save myself

My Father Buried My Sister........Today
My father buried my sister today
My soul burns red with pain
No longer will I touch her face
Or caress her skin again
My father buried my sister today
God, what have I done wrong
To have her stolen from my arms
When my faith in you was strong
My father buried my sister today
Thank God I have another
I couldn't walk this path alone
Every breath is a struggle
My father buried my sister today
She was just 20
Searing, ripping, tearing ache
My emotions overcome me

The Scars That U Leave
I don’t know how much more
How much more I can take
Of this crap you keep doing
Every night I go to bed
With the scars of the day
Scars that you inflicted
And the pain searing through my body
A pain that was caused by your hands
Inflicted by your hatred
A pain remembered the next morning
Only to be added to that night
A never ending pain
As the wounds are never left to heal
But are added to
Over and over again
Know I add a new pain

Undecipherable
A little death comes every day
for the lost age.
The fingertips write your name on
ice, to burn in sun.
and still, I will say it was good.
Searing poverty of words
scrambles for a suicide vest.
No meaningless truth can save
the kleptomaniac. After the demise
of a sentence I can say, would
not go for an award. The struggle
to live in some pretentious
sexuality of the curves was over.
A trident will find
the torso of revengeful god.
Appearance was deceptive
in entire race. The father of waves

Polaris In The Eye
Our ship broke apart
Like so many paddle-boards,
Crushed between bergs
And attendant ice floes.
All hands were lost,
Into the frigid waters tossed,
Except me and my cur, Mutton,
Who, gravely injured, would die too soon.
I used him as warmth for awhile,
Then he transfigured into merely a useful bunch of frozen fur.
I had a partial tent
That, torn by the searing blow,
Became a mere sieve in the howl ahead.
To some Eskimo fires I had spied
In the distance
I prepared to go; my beard milky white,
The only way to live, to vie,
I trundled on, chewing warmth, Polaris in the eye.

Hiatus
The alleys collapsed as the lungs did
As the lampposts flickered with the vision
A shadowy mirage lingered to caress
The soft yellow lights, the singeing blood
Searing from the charred soles
I walked with the roaring fire
The fire pranced with the songs
Hiding in the browning calendar
I halted, panted, eviscerating
Amassing vigor, accumulating air,
I'd watch you from here;
Until I feel my legs again
Until I relearn the tempo
To sway with the grace
Of your wandering pendulums.
The cinders flounced
A message from the sirens
Cutting the swath
Of these drunken roads

Pretence
One Lonely night
Under my bed
I found a soul
rusty and wet
Tearing apart
grey webs of art
I took the soul
out of the dark
Oh! What a fright
it gave my old heart
Oh! What a searing light
it shed on my new life
A silenced strife
of my silenced life
The silenced start
Silenced apart

Visit Malaysia Year Poem - Langkawi's Mashuri -I am No Adultress (State of Kedah)
I am no adulteress
South of the Andaman,
An island lost in time,
Filled with grandiose mountains
Mystical lakes and legends
Of fairies, genies and ghosts
Made more spookie by
A fiery virulent curse
Spewed forth by an innocent
Soul mercilessly tortured and
Exterminated for adultery that
Incidentally brought forth seven
Generations of upheaval and loss.
When the sea roars menacingly
In pitch dark nights, evil seems
To play its forces out in the sea.
Beware guys and gals, Mahsuri's curse
Is very much alive in Langkawi.
'I am no adulteress, ' a heart searing
Cry is constantly heard enchoing in its waves.

Playing With Fire
A flame that seemed to burn so bright
Has suddenly gone out
And left ashes in its place
But not before searing my heart
And leaving permanent burns
All over my face
'Don't play with fire'
Is what I was taught
But advice that I foolishly didn't heed
And when I reached out my hand
Hoping you would be different
I soon realized I couldn't take the heat
But I've bandaged my burns since then
And have let them heal
And now that I'm fully recovered
