Quotes about shined, page 6

On Her Way To Afternoon

The morn' arrived barefoot
With words of the Dawn upon her breath
Sunrise clinged tight with its fingers
And the green grass prepared for the dews death;
Waves of many barefoot clouds were above us
Her words shined as jewels from her mouth
Sunrise broke open the shores of this beautiful day
And the green lawn became queen of the South;
In the air there were many a barefoot dragonfly
As her words became more fluid and then
Sunrise called to the mid of day
And the green lawn asked afternoon to begin;

Vanity

He was quite the dresser,
not a thing out of place.
A close, close shave
and cologne on his face
He strutted like a peacock.
He wore shoes that shined.
He fooled all the women
for they were blind.
For what they saw
was a bold-faced lie.
Underneath all this finery
was an ordinary guy.

He was like an actor
playing a role,
fooling many women
was his main goal.
And fool them he did.
He'd done it for years.
He took all their money

Season

Ruby-veins crept into the foliage.

Then the pond was calm and wide.

By the forest's edge brightly scattered

Bluish speckles and brown dust lay.

A fisherman drew in his nets.

Then dusk came over the field.

But, a yard shined still palely illuminated

And maids brought fruit and wine.

Distantly a shepherd's song died after.

Then huts stood bleak and strange.

Remember?

Would I rather be strangled or screwed?
In a polyester suit...
Sporting spit shined boots,
And prepared to service.
Would I rather be a clown in a circus,
Or be kicked around by you for fun?
At least when you're finished...
I'll have a clue I've been done!
Instead of hearing you dropp a plot,
To have me appear the fool I'm not.
Because the love I stopped for you has gone!
Why can't you move on?
I did when your shouting drove me out!
And the doors behind me you locked.
Pouting!
Remember?
Embarrassing me bare assed?
Until I disappeared behind the boulevard of trees.

On a rainy night

On a rainy night with a gunmetal sky
I saw crisp leaves fly in the wind,
but your laughter was like a ray of light

and although the night was corroding
and the leaves were the colour of rust
we danced jolly in the rain that was falling

close against each other, just you and I
and lightning falling like gun flashes
lighted the street while we ran
to the porch of our house

where drops of rain shined
like jewels in your hair
and the hot fireplace was quite welcoming
and your passionate kisses were sweet
and we were without a care
while the fresh smell of the rain was everywhere.

The Glass Cleaner

The Native who comes with a bottle of Windex,
Regular paper roll and a damp piece of cloth.
He cleans the outer glass of the shop well
And you could see the World brighter!
When he finished the cleaning
Boss gave him few dollars and a big thank you!
He bought a scratch lottery out of his payment.
When he leaves smiley I asked; 'Any luck Mr.*Red Hawk? '
'Yes I won five dollars and I can drink a bottle of King Cobra beer tonight
And have a sound sleep! ' He said very happily.
Through the shined glass I saw he's walking towards his home
Like in a bygone Cowboy movie but without a horse!

Time Ended

The moon shined
as the blind saw
the autistic spoke
and the cripple ran
the dead rose
as time ended like a bloody rose

The fishes flew
Hinayana sangs
and the lions danced
the cows flew
as the ants grew
penguins got a nose
as time ended like a bloody rose

The trees walked
and the sky cracked
the stars fell
and the earth weeped
time stopped as the

A Joy if heaven is perpetually bright!

My soul be not undeterred to find...
Myrrh, frankincense or precious, gold:
A swaddling fever to rein out the cold,
Truth; dare not I, not; agonize mankind.
Loves inflicted weariness so, undefined.
The exiled advocate, who leads his fold,
Oughtn't a son to, join a king that shined.
With princely, unabated, breath of old:
Fondly do the stars not shiver out-time?
Doesn't dissembling winter's passage, refine?
Glories brimful, enlivening green and bold.
I err, to listen, to my soul until I'm doled,
The sunbeams countless cuts of endless, night
More my joy if heaven is perpetually, bright.

The Cottage

Nobody can weigh respect and love,
Wealth can't weaken them or power,
Nothing can tempt cause they're high above,
Where, there dwells knowledge bower,
People seek in royal robes and towers,
I've sought in a hut that is small,
The place is blessed where knowledge showers,
Only hut to them, but to me the world all.

It has been shined with math's golden rays,
That sun has set but redness is still there,
To mark the people to their successful ways,
Now, a silver light of English's shown from there,
That's witnessed many ups and down,
And proved talent doesn't need one, but itself a crown.

Lost love

I was born with so much love,
my heart was strong like a storm.
My passion for love was so high,
i loved with all my heart.

I could feel it flow through my veins,
its light shined through my days.
Its a feeling that gave me hope,
a feeling i loved utmost.

But as days goes by, my heart became weak,
the mighty storm was fading away in a wink.
My heart became lost amidst a storm,
it could withstand love no more.

The flow of love dried away from my veins,
its light faded away, darkness darkened my days.
My heart is sad, love is set ablaze
i wept all night for my love story became a lost tale.
