Quotes about tuning, page 6
Licia Sonnets 21
Licia my love was sitting in a grove,
Tuning her smiles unto the chirping songs,
But straight she spied where two together strove,
Each one complaining of the other's wrongs.
Cupid did cry lamenting of the harm;
Jove's messenger, thou wrong'st me too too far;
Use thou thy rod, rely upon the charm;
Think not by speech my force thou canst debar.
A rod, Sir boy, were fitter for a child,
My weapons oft and tongue and mind you took;
And in my wrong at my distress thou smiled,
And scorned to grace me with a loving look.
Speak you, sweet love, for you did all the wrong
That broke his arrows, and did bind his tongue.

English May
WOULD God your health were as this month of May
Should be, were this not England,—and your face
Abroad, to give the gracious sunshine grace
And laugh beneath the budding hawthorn-spray.
But here the hedgerows pine from green to grey
While yet May's lyre is tuning, and her song
Is weak in shade that should in sun be strong;
And your pulse springs not to so faint a lay.
If in my life be breath of Italy,
Would God that I might yield it all to you!
So, when such grafted warmth had burgeoned through
The languor of your Maytime's hawthorn-tree,
My spirit at rest should walk unseen and see
The garland of your beauty bloom anew.

Things Just Keep A Turning Round
Oll' man, little dog,
lots of books and a steel guitar,
the blues stashed in a bar,
just returned from war.
Comfort from music,
the past is today,
children out singing to play.
They went on for school,
won't be no ones fool.
Tuning for the right notes,
bringing in Obama's votes.
grey hair almost looks like a feather,
we still hope that things will be better.
While Things just keep a turning round.
The sun is whitely gleaming
on large cotton-bales like houses

An ecological thought eked out
God
doesn't get much sympathy
from believers
or unbelievers
(though for different reasons)
but just imagine
how He must feel
when, having created
all the glorious,
ludicrous
(He has a sense of humour surely)
multitude of species,
mankind just knocks them off one by one,
I mean, just imagine having all those extinct species
in your Mind,
sketches, working models, problems resolved,
fine tuning, (er, evolution in later versions?)
but no longer there for all to see

Compliment to each other
We are compliment to each other
Nothing should come in between and bother
If you are wind it can be easily found
When go out side for round
If you are beautiful flower
Still you may need shower
Yourare not only inside
But over the horizon very wide
Nothing to feel bored
As happiness and joy is stored
We have left no possibility unexplored
As a result fine tuning and bond is restored
It is always give and take
The relation should not be fake
If so, it won't last long
Any time you may go wrong

There Is Definitely a Difference Noticed
I don't think anyone intentionally pays them no attention.
Or goes out of their way to do it!
I would say,
No one has selected them as choices,
To allow that as an inconvenience to materialize!
Or condone their 'soapboxed' shenanigans!
And the results obtained have been remarkable.
There is definitely a difference noticed.
I think a consensus had been achieved,
When all agreed...
It was better just to ignore them instead.
Since it had been determined,
There was no need to physically unplug them.
Just by turning them off and/or tuning them out,
Has saved plenty of energy!
And this has made an acceptance,
Of a tolerance more efficient and effectively delivered.

A Step Out Of Time
There are times when I feel like I don't fit in,
Like I am walking a step out of time.
The world keeps on tuning yet somehow I missed a spin,
So I am for ever playing the catch up game.
As I stand upon lifes shore, tides of emotions wash over me,
Hope cowers deep within my dreams of perfection.
That lost longing of a desperate need to be loved,
Although I know I am loved, still emptiness consumes me.
I seek a union of heart, soul and mind that may never be,
The promise of life has passed me by and I failed to notice.
So it seems that I may be eternally lost upon lifes quest,
Seemingly doomed to walk this life... A step out of time...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

The Beautiful Changes
One wading a Fall meadow finds on all sides
The Queen Anne's Lace lying like lilies
On water; it glides
So from the walker, it turns
Dry grass to a lake, as the slightest shade of you
Valleys my mind in fabulous blue Lucernes.
The beautiful changes as a forest is changed
By a chameleon's tuning his skin to it;
As a mantis, arranged
On a green leaf, grows
Into it, makes the leaf leafier, and proves
Any greenness is greener than anyone knows.
Your hands hold roses always in a way that says
They are not only yours; the beautiful changes
In such kind ways,
Wishing ever to sunder
Things and Thing's selves for a second finding, to lose
For a moment all that it touches back to wonder.

Jimmy Jet And His TV Set
I'll tell you the story of Jimmy Jet--
And you know what I tell you is true.
He loved to watch his TV set
Almost as much as you.
He watched all day, he watched all night
Till he grew pale and lean,
From 'The Early Show' to 'The Late Show'
And all the shows in between.
He watched till his eyes were frozen wide,
And his bottom grew into his chair.
And his chin turned into a tuning dial,
And antennae grew out of his hair.
And his brains turned into TV tubes,
And his face to a TV screen.
And two knobs saying 'vert.' and 'horiz.'
Grew where his ears had been.

True Love
True love is deathless,
Your frontiers endless.
You are for better and for worse,
Unique in colour,
Unequalled in cast.
No wonder,
You synchronise to very condition,
Align to altering situations,
Adjust to deepening enlightenment,
Embrace emerging beliefs,
Accommodate errors of judgment,
Absorb unforeseen hardship,
Resolve all nagging problems,
Dissolve all challenges.
No wonder,
You withstand all intrusions,
Snatching victory out of all situations,
Emerging purified from all confrontations,
