Quotes about turbulent, page 6

Moment Of Truth

An ultimate lie becomes a reality in life,
Like slit in the throat of a lamb in a meadow.

A wounded ego scrambles
for an explanation,
which is not coming.

Who can stop this verdict of a non-trial?
The tragic nonending of a conflict
between doubt and inherited faith?

You search for a perfect rhythm in
a turbulent crowd,
search for a silence in a flaming torch,
in the moment of truth,
when an entity is disintegrating.

Remembrance

A tribal fear
was lurking,
behind a surge of emotion.
The sun was looking black.

A sexual abuse
of a quaint flower
aborts the fruit.
This year we will go hungry.

A nascent seed
stripped on road-
cries for water.
We hear without listening.

Death by a grave
was a domestic claim.
But you were found dead in a bunker.

Life vows to stand alone

In Mind

There's in my mind a woman
of innocence, unadorned but

fair-featured and smelling of
apples or grass. She wears

a utopian smock or shift, her hair
is light brown and smooth, and she

is kind and very clean without
ostentation-

but she has
no imagination

And there's a
turbulent moon-ridden girl

or old woman, or both,
dressed in opals and rags, feathers

Restless Love

THROUGH rain, through snow,
Through tempest go!
'Mongst streaming caves,
O'er misty waves,
On, on! still on!
Peace, rest have flown!

Sooner through sadness

I'd wish to be slain,
Than all the gladness

Of life to sustain
All the fond yearning

That heart feels for heart,
Only seems burning

To make them both smart.

Sometimes we want to get away from the busy and hectic city life to find solace in the raging waves of the ocean pounding on the rocks or the turbulent splashing of a bubbling waterfall. At other times we are amazed by the immovable silence of a mountain or the gentle caress of a river overjoyed tat its union with the sea. The topography of a region speaks to each one of us--a secret language that people from all facets of life understand and relate to.

Mystery of Life

Can pain and pleasure
Be felt at the same time?
I feel I am going out of my mind.
I asked my spiritual guide.

She looked at me with compassionate eyes
And said, “These are turbulent times
Too much happening at the same time

Mind is not able to deal with
So much stimulation
So you keep doing your meditation
To achieve equanimity of mind.”

Treat yourself with love and kindness
Everything cannot be analysed.
That is the mystery of life”.

Papa And I

Papa always brings his bolo
wherever he goes out from the house
during those turbulent times of our lives

'these are what fathers are for
these outlaws must know
that we also know how to protect ourselves! '
he always tells me that
when i was young
and innocent and didn't know what wars were
why other men were cruel to their own gender

when my turn came
i begin to bring my gun
my wits
and my distrust

'this is the reason why i was born' i tell myself that.

That Is

Let be it.
The little bowl abandoning
the unreachable pink-light.
Ambrosia-
was searching a geometric center
of a smoking hub.

Flame-
of a bonefire was leaping
towards a topless tumbler.
The midriff
will spell a disaster.

A nomadic-
sleepwalker had become incandescent,
starts a prayer
for a condemned enemy.

My body was a river.
flowing-

The Church street bomb

What a hell of banging sound resounded
in the inner city
on that day.

The air rushed turbulent
past me and the blast
made glass and concrete
shatter and rain down
in a deadly hail.

Innocent men, woman and children
who where on the street
where scarred, mutilated,
maimed and slaughtered.

Later the sirens of the fire brigade,
ambulances and police wailed past,
sounding like machines mourning
the inhumanity of a political cause
and of man killing man without any remorse.

Breaking Free

Got to break free from these woe's
Like ivy strangling loves mistletoe
Though fate's hand may have been dealt
It will pass and therefore I must think positive and wait
I'm not afraid enveloped by a shadow of gloom
For I dance to a different cosmic tune
And as fate can change like the weather
Sometimes turbulent or soft as from a breeze of a feather
The sun will always be there to guide me - even in the darkest of times
Leading me along a path where spirits grow and stars always shine
